Almost 10yr review Harbor Freight Dual Direction 20 ton log splitter PREDATOR 212cc

Showing that HFT log splitter still works, no major problems long term. Splitting some green hickory. The 4 way wedge should have been left off for this. 212cc engine has not been worked on. I have other videos on this log splitter goes back 9yrs. Take a look at my channel and playlist.

I've had mine 9 years. VERY happy with it. I've always stored it under cover and ran it dry. I just occurred to me to today that I have never changed the fluid so I will do that prior to next use. I split massive 100 lb+ rounds 23" long. This splitter is awesome.

I just bought one of these used, forward splitting works great but the back split is very weak. any suggestions on where to start to fix this issue?

Sounds like internally leaking / bypassing. I doubt the cylinder but sounds like the value. Blown seal or o ring
