I hope you read this. I just wanted to say congrats on working so hard and coming so far! I was addicted to heroine and pills for 7-8 years in total ( did the pills when I was 15-19, then stopped for a couple years.) I eventually ended up on deaths door, literally died in the hospital, and now I have a pacemaker and an artificial heart valve plus other life long health issues. But I was able to quit all the drugs afterwards. Been off the drugs since 2017, and off methadone since 2019. I am a manger at a vet clinic, I have my own lil zoo in my home, I rent a 2 bedroom house, and I have my daughter back. Everything gets easier to stay away from with time and hard work. You’re doing so amazing! I hope you realize that and know life can be so beautiful. Congrats again for all you have done! Love the animals! Hope this message can show you and others that you can do this!
Wow! I've watched a lot of Taylor's videos, but by no means all of them, and I tend to only watch ones that people make that are primarily about their pets, rather than their personal lives, etc.. While I have owned many different types of animals over the years and I do like reptiles, I have never owned a reptile, so this is entirely from a non-expert in reptiles... one tank did look on the small side to me, but there may be a logical reason for this. However, compared to a lot of videos I've seen, Taylor's tanks always look so clean, with lots of decor that is clearly providing enrichment to her animals. I also love the respectful way she handles them in all her videos (with only one that once made me think "should you be encouraging that behaviour?"). What also always comes across is a genuine respect and compassion for her animals in her tone of voice and the funny conversations she has with them. It all comes across as very open, honest and genuine. Her reptiles appear to be used to handling too, which is a good sign that someone is putting in time and effort (with any type of animal). As I haven't really taken much notice of Taylor's videos relating to her personal life, I can't claim to know the full story. But I have gathered that she is/ was a drug addict and that there have been circumstances that led to her giving up some of her pets. Whatever the reason for this, it must have been a heartbreaking decision and, while it isn't ideal for someone to take on an animal and then give them up, it is only to be applauded that she made the unselfish decision to admit she was no longer able to give them what they needed and acted on it. She could have, at that point, given some bs story to explain their absence from future videos or given up making pet videos for a while. She could have also kept her addiction and mental health a secret from her followers. However, she chose to be open and honest, which may help others be brave enough to make the right choice for their pets in the future and also shows respect for her followers. So does she really need this bombardment of hateful comments? Probably like a hole in the head! Only she knows if she is doing the right thing in taking on more animals. If she is doing the right thing, you will all be owing her an apology. If she is wrong and this is part of her addiction, she needs help, love and a bit of compassion and kindness, not rudeness, nit-picking and bombardment of negativity. Yes, she may need people pointing out there is a problem if and when that problem arises as some people do struggle to recognise it without this, but there is a way of doing this that respects both the welfare of the animals and this lovely lady. Even if you hate her with a vengeance and have no sympathy at all, this level of negativity is enough to make anyone go "to hell with you all", close the blinds and continue to struggle, but then in private where no one is aware of what is going on and no one can help, and then you have just made a bad situation all the worse. In fact, the fact that Taylor hasn't done that, and hasn't bitten back at some of these comments, suggests a degree of level-headedness and dedication to making this channel and her pet situation work. There are hundreds of UA-camrs on here showing pets in appalling conditions; I saw one only a couple of days ago where an owner had an almost fully grown axolotl with no hide in a tank not much bigger than a shoe box on the floor next to a single budgie in a filthy cage of about the same size with no toys. He also had 6 goldfish, including a large oranda, in a 2ft tank. The video had been on here 9 years and there was not nearly the amount of hate that has been shown to Taylor. Also, another one today where someone thought it was perfectly ok to keep row after row of hamsters in cages on shelves like ornaments, all well below minimum size with hardly any enrichment, and had the nerve to claim they had all got some strange quirk that meant they preferred being in cramped conditions and it was necessary to make them "friendlier" (clearly missing the point entirely that it is not a pet's responsibility to provide the owner with entertainment and friendliness and getting very aggressive with anyone who tried to point this out). Meanwhile, why the critisms over Taylor's piercings and her makeup? Really!?! What's that got to do with the welfare of the animals? Taylor, lovely, if you like your makeup, that's all that matters. What small minds to get off on degrading a woman like that! Honestly, reading some of this has been like listening to 5 year old bullies in a playground. (Go and watch Bambi; "if you can't say nuffin nice, don't say nuffin at all"...how's that for grammar). Taylor, personally, I think you look stunning, and I enjoy seeing your different hairstyles and makeup styles and look forward to seeing those almost as much as your pets. Hope everything works out for you and your slithery buddies and your other pets. As for saying "they" rather than "it", it always concerns me when I hear people refer to an animal as "it"; it often is a good indicator of someone who views a pet as an object and fails to recognise it as a living creature with needs beyond a tank and food. Please continue to say "he" or "she" when you know the gender and "they" when you don't. Save "it" for describing dicktards 😉. Much love from across the pond. X

Ruby is the spitting image of my Columbian Red Tail Baby that I had so long ago. Got baby when I was 16 as my third snake when she was just a month old little noodle and she was hands down my favorite reptile I've ever had. Amazing temperament once you learned to read her language and tried to avoid handling her in a shed. My Baby was just over 9 feet full grown. I unfortunately had to rehome her along with my 3 other snakes and iguana to a friend when she was 8 when relocating for work. Miss my snakes...

I adore you Taylor and wish you nothing but the best, but I hope you keep your animal amount more reasonable in the event you need to go to rehab etc. I was addicted to drugs over a decade ago and can promise you there will be no time in my life I’m comfortable enough to have the zoo I wish I had solely because there’s always potential for relapse. I know I’m just giving anecdotes, but they’re most helpful in my experience when it comes to addiction.
Taylor I always strongly disliked snakes. To the point I had nightmares about them. I raised my kids to love all animals and reptiles and pretended to like them myself but I REALLY did not if I’m honest! One of my kids is an adult now and she actually owns 2 snakes! I just wanted to say though that your videos and how you talk about the snakes really helped me to realize that they are quite bearable.. and then I started to even find them cute! Which I never in a million years thought would be the case. I don’t hold them, I’m not to that point but I do admire them and stop and look at them in pet stores (I used to purposely look away as we walked past them). It may sound silly but it was your videos that took away this strong fear of mine and changed my outlook on them. Thank you! I don’t even have nightmares about them anymore! We had a rather large garter snake in a tree right close to our open screened in window, looking right at us, sticking its little tongue out (especially when my cat was in there). And it was amazing to be able to see it up close and show my toddler daughter how cute they even are. She admires them in pet stores and at my adult daughter’s house as well. I think you quite literally helped to stop the generational fear of snakes in this family. We’ve turned it all around! ❤ Thank you! It’s important to love and admire God’s creations (my belief, not to offend anyone) and I’m glad that I can now. ❤

Ruby is the spitting image of my Columbian Red Tail Baby that I had so long ago. Got baby when I was 16 as my third snake when she was just a month old little noodle and she was hands down my favorite reptile I've ever had. Amazing temperament once you learned to read her language and tried to avoid handling her in a shed.
My Baby was just over 9 feet full grown.
I unfortunately had to rehome her along with my 3 other snakes and iguana to a friend when she was 8 when relocating for work.

I adore you Taylor and wish you nothing but the best, but I hope you keep your animal amount more reasonable in the event you need to go to rehab etc. I was addicted to drugs over a decade ago and can promise you there will be no time in my life I’m comfortable enough to have the zoo I wish I had solely because there’s always potential for relapse. I know I’m just giving anecdotes, but they’re most helpful in my experience when it comes to addiction.
Taylor I always strongly disliked snakes. To the point I had nightmares about them. I raised my kids to love all animals and reptiles and pretended to like them myself but I REALLY did not if I’m honest! One of my kids is an adult now and she actually owns 2 snakes! I just wanted to say though that your videos and how you talk about the snakes really helped me to realize that they are quite bearable.. and then I started to even find them cute! Which I never in a million years thought would be the case. I don’t hold them, I’m not to that point but I do admire them and stop and look at them in pet stores (I used to purposely look away as we walked past them). It may sound silly but it was your videos that took away this strong fear of mine and changed my outlook on them. Thank you! I don’t even have nightmares about them anymore! We had a rather large garter snake in a tree right close to our open screened in window, looking right at us, sticking its little tongue out (especially when my cat was in there). And it was amazing to be able to see it up close and show my toddler daughter how cute they even are. She admires them in pet stores and at my adult daughter’s house as well. I think you quite literally helped to stop the generational fear of snakes in this family. We’ve turned it all around! ❤ Thank you! It’s important to love and admire God’s creations (my belief, not to offend anyone) and I’m glad that I can now. ❤

Iroh is definitely more than just a banana. Based on the short look we got of him I’d say he’s probably a banana pastel pinstripe. Not sure if Foster is just a wild type either, he’s very bright and has some interesting blushing on his head.

I understand some of these animals belong to your partner, but you have bought several new one's while your other snakes need larger homes with appropriate heating and lighting.
