There's a lot of Queen Elisabeth in Sansa's story. Never intended to rule, never meant to rule, life in near constant peril, youthful naivety that grows into hard, political cunning and inevitable cynicism as she survives the challenges that she has had to endure. Fiercely independent...she will almost certainly never marry, nor produce an heir, yet unquestionably loyal to her family and people which earns her their complete devotion and love.
She said she would become queen one day for marrying Joffrey on episode one. She does become queen, but she earned it herself. All hail to the Queen in the North.
@@Secondaccount31 she started as a high born lady, then became a political prisoner in King's Landing where she had no allies and was forced to marry a tyrant and then an imp; got pulled into some schemes of assassination; ran off and then her aunt tried to kill her; little finger used her; Ramsey tortured and raped her. @@Secondaccount31 I don't think so, she would've seen Bran had no interest (at that moment) to reign. Just like when she proclaimed Jon Snow the King in the North but felt resentment when she thought he had betrayed them to Daenerys.
@Don One, you are on literally every sansa video being nasty. What is your problem with her? She was 12 when she was sent to Kings Landing, grew up around people who used, abused and raped her, when she finally escapes, she manages to very tactfully get the knights of the vale on her side, and then rules the north successfully when Jon goes to treat with Daenerys. She releases the North from the 7 kingdoms since it was independent, and that is what the Northern lords want. She learnt to rule from the best power players in Westeros, what makes you think she can't rule?!
I don't think I disliked a character as much as Sansa, but goddammit now... One queen to rule them all. She's just brilliant. I just love that every obstacle, every torture has just strengthened her without losing her mind, rather she's learnt politics from the most cunning people in westeros, and she wants to put these qualities in a constructive way. Only other house which possessed these qualities was Tyrell.
I couldn’t agree more!! I used to hate her so hard, but now I think that she had one of the best character development in the show and certainly the most realistic one
@@hey-fv2gg She's so annoying... I couldn't believe it. Like I swear when she lies about Arya and Joffrey, I hated her more than Jaime(he's an outsider, she's her sister). All the hardship Sansa went through, it shaped her into the person she is now. No longer the weak little girl in season 1, but now a queen who didn't need a man to get a crown. Hail the Queen in the North!!
This is why I can relate to Sansa so much throughout the series. People used me and manipulated me to their advantage and the more people did that, the smarter and stronger I got. This is why Sansa was my favorite character because she was once a sweet, naive little girl - same as me - and rose up to be a Queen!
I don't think they did mess we all wanted Jaime to be happy with Brienne but Jamie couldn't get past his love for his sister, it was as though HE didn't think he deserved the happiness
Yeah. I agree. Think about it. Jamie was a crippled knight. Life is no bed of roses without health insurance. Who would hire him? He was a high born but he lost his privileges instantly when his family went banckrupt and the fall and destruction of Kingslanding. He was becoming a homeless guy with no family and no good hands. And Brienne couldn't afford him. How could he afford a child in that situation ? I don't get how people see a romance with Brienne. SHE is a knight ! That's HER LIFE. Knights don't have parental holidays! Nor weekends. Do you people see Jamie as Brienne's housewife? Looking after Brienne's toddlers and baking muffins?? Lol.
@@LoseBellyFatNow0 yes i also feel there are at least two different conversations, i read a lot of comments talking about ''the characters' arc'' & '' character developpement '' these are two different things. One may enjoy one, but not the other.
I don't think Arya's ending is fitting for her character. She never showed interest to become an explorer. I thought she was more of a knight type of person, she should've stayed in Winterfell to guard her sister, while Brienne guard her brother.
Archanium _ lol Arya was never a "knight type of person". Yes, she dreamed of maybe being a knight when very young, but she has always been far too independent and practical to be considered a super honorable knight like a Ser Barristan Selmy or Ser Arthur Dayne. She would be more of a Jaime sort of Knight. Now Jaime and Arya arent very similar personality wise....although they have one key thing in common - They are unique and do things their own way. Neither could just sit by and play by the rules and do as they are told all the time. Arya definitely has a sense of honor, but it is quite different to her father's or Jons (or even what Sansa's idea of it was early on). Arya adored her father and his teachings, but her application was a lot more practical and she would forget or de-prioritise her personal honor where expediency was called for. I feel Arya going off to explore fits her arc and personality quite well. She could never just hang around Winterfell guarding Sansa and doing her bidding all the time like Brienne. Thats not Arya.
Maria Jose Rangel Acuña I don’t think Margery would be proud either if she was alive. She definitely manipulated Sansa in order to get the North. Margery wanted to be queen Sansa learned a lot from her but at the end of the day Margery would have done anything to protect and advance her family. She didn’t care all that much about Sansa
Yes this didn't make sense to me either. Why wasn't she at Winterfell rather than King's Landing? Up until now the house of Tarth hasn't had much significance beyond Brienne (in the show at least) and suddenly she has a seat on the council?
@@Drinkthedamncocoa Bran needs her more, he is more vulnerable than Sansa, he is far away from home, he needs as many people that he can fully trust. I think Sansa is the one who wanted Brienne to watch her brother.

When Sansa declared The North an independent nation, I'm surprised the other lords didn't say, "We can do that? And just declare all themselves independent. Great video by the way.
They should have! The countries had been independent for millennia, in some cases, before the Targaryens. It would have felt far more organic for the high lords of Westeros to declare independence for their nations, and rebuild after the devastation of a series of brutal wars.
They didn't know that was an option before Sansa spoke up. When she declared North as an Independent nation, all the lords already accepted Bran as their king by saying 'Aye'.
I like to think Yara knelt to Bran out of love for Theon. Dorne, well, I figure Dorne just wants peace and they’ll continue doing their own thing as they largely have throughout the war.
I think the main reason is, as of the moment, most of the other realms are too weak to seek independence. The Iron Islands lost almost half their men and probably used up most of their resources building ships from the previous war. Dorne has just recovered from a civil war instigated by Elaria Sand and the Sand Snakes, the Riverlands is the most heavily damaged region from the war. Both the Reach and Westerlands were equally devastated. Being part of a collective kingdom allows everyone to share the realms collective resources and military strength. The North is also heavily affected but the did their all to survive and gain sovereignity. Unlike the majority of the realms in Westeros, the North can protect itself thanks to the Neck and Moat Cailin. If there is any other kingdom who can support itself, it's The Vale, but then again, the Vale doesn't care much about the realm. Who knows, maybe in the future, other lords may want to seek independence.
Fuck off Don One. Just because you hate Sansa for some stupid reason, you still watch loads of Sansa videos, so just crawl back to whatever pathetic hole you came from.
I actually thought it was very foolish. They all sit there and decide to elect a new unbiased and impartial king - Brandon Stark. I watch it and I'm like OK this is a nice change for once - then Sansa asks for the Independence of the North and her BROTHER aka the new King just gives it to her. Nepotism? Favorism? Anyone? No other lord says anything about it? From a fairy tale point of view this was a nice House Stark ending but from a realistic point of view this would create a whole lot of new problems. Yara was promised the independence of the Iron Islands, her family rebelled twice within the span of several years in order to achieve Independence and she's just OK with it? Dorne is one of the proudest kingdoms in the whole story and the new prince has nothing to say about it? They showed us how they want to unite everyone under the rule of an unbiased king... and a few seconds later they show every single lord on that meeting that he is biased after all. Great logical ending...

Patel Marv - I agree with most of your points. Wise of Sansa to op out. As a Malaysian with a rotating five year term or rotating monarchy (unless they abdicate or died) head of state among the state Sultans, it will be messy as there is no stated Council of Rulers to meet regularly on a scheduled time every year. Our Prime Minister has a headache with the Sultans asserting their states' rights. So, with Bran into warging still and Tyrion as Hand with no centralized army under King Bran, the finale is a beautiful fantasy. Why should other kingdoms pay for the reconstruction of King's Landing when it was Tyrion who brought over Dany to cause a mess? History will repeat itself. Not the beautiful fiction that a good story unites us.

Sansa's character and story arc development was by far the best in the series! What she went through and she dusted herself off, got up and trudged on. Learning all the way. They didnt fail her character one bit! All hail the Queen of the North!! LONG may she reign!
She actually was the only one concern for her people's independence. The rest was just willing to follow another king but not sansa she is capable of governing her own people. Long may she reign!
Yes! I don't get all these comments saying she was power hungry - especially since they come from Dany stans - when it's been clear that independence is all she's wanted for herself and her people. Her journey has shown her what absolute power looks like and using fear for control. She wants none of it and she's wise for that.

The same thing she was opened to john and the others on how she didnt want daenerys but tolerated her because they needed her army to defeat the wights and it was her that spread the rumor of jon being the true heir that maybe one of the reason that fueld daenerys paranoia to madness. Those who hate Sansa are Dany stans or Jon stans mostly. They followed Dany's and Jon's story arcs so thoroughly that what any other characters say or do is secondary. Besides we are looking at Sansa from the perspective of our times not hers. Dany and Arya are for superheroes fans.
Margaery was my favorite and has been so good with Sansa, i'm a little sad sansa didn't say anything about her or her death. Their scene was always so good. Still good to see how Sansa evolved, we can only be proud of her.
If it makes you feel any better, according to Michelle Clapton who makes all of Sansa's dresses, Sansa partially designed her dress in honor of Margaery, whom was a dear friend of hers. "The dress was made in the same fabric as the dark Sansa dress, which was the same fabric dyed that was used in [Margaery's] wedding dress to Joffrey," Clapton wrote. "Sansa had a bond with her."
She was a strong person. She have been through for bad things. I love this character and she deserve the title of queen. Queen In the North Always Will be my Queen. Now and Always.

It always hurts me when I see people's opinions on Sansa. "Overrated, useless, bitch, there is nothing she deserved, she did nothing, everyone must helped her with everything." She never was in a powerful position, she doesn't have three dragons (also, where would be Dany if there was no dragons?) and she was raised to be a lady of some lord one day, she was raised as a little bird, not as a wolf. All of her life all she can do was just watching her family get slaughtered one by one and she could do nothing about it. She could just wait to get to the powerful position. There's a lot of Queen Elisabeth in Sansa's story. Never intended to rule, never meant to rule, life in near constant peril, youthful naivety that grows into hard, political cunning and inevitable cynicism as she survives the challenges that she has had to endure.
I honestly think that her parents and all of her teachers(Petyr,Maergery....) would be so proud of her

When Sansa declared The North an independent nation, I'm surprised the other lords didn't say, "We can do that? And just declare all themselves independent. Great video by the way.
Specially Dorne & the iron islands
Who knows, maybe in the future, other lords may want to seek independence.

the best character development. i'm so proud of how she evolved.
the only thing that i liked in this episode

Sansa won the game
Margaery was my favorite and has been so good with Sansa, i'm a little sad sansa didn't say anything about her or her death. Their scene was always so good. I know Margaery from the book left sansa after she was engaged to Tyrion but show's Margaery didn't and was good to her untill the very end.
The strongest person of the game , truly love her :)
You understood her!!! That look she gave joff after ned's death was just the beginning!!! I know no king, but the Queen in the North!!!
In the end Sansa proved to be fierce, bravo!!!
a superior character arc 😍
With Sansa as Queen in the North, I can see a bright future for both the North and her as well! Long may she reign!
Loved this video!! Great job capturing Sansa's long journey
She was a strong person. She have been through for bad things. I love this character and she deserve the title of queen.
Queen In the North Always Will be my Queen. Now and Always.
Sansa becoming queen of the North is the only upside and acceptable decision in the end of Game of Thrones. Everything thing else makes little to no sense.
That also doesnt make sense. Why is she the queen in the north when bran is a stark and a northman. Doesnt make sense lol
@@Secondaccount31 Because he won't rule the throne forever. He's gonna die at some point with no Stark children to take his throne so anyone of the royal houses can step up as the next ruler. That's why Sansa had to make sure that the North was secured under the Stark's rule forever.
Controversial she can marry from someone from a lesser house and have them take her name. Thus her house and name continues.
I love how it was a full circle thing for her. She went from being a naive little girl who wanted nothing more than to wear a crown and call herself a Queen to becoming a Queen and a true leader in her own right and ultimately sitting on the throne in the North as the Queen in the North. Great depiction of her story.
A true Queen! She deserves all the happiness!
This is amazing ❤
Robb Stark, King in the North, the Young Wolf.
Jon Snow, King in the North, the White Wolf.
Sansa Stark, Queen in the North, She Wolf (Falling to Pieces) ft. Sia.
I think Sansa is the Red Wolf.
Brian Achim i love that name, but isn’t it fanfic?
QUEEN SANSA OF HOUSE STARK!!! LONG MAY SHE REIGN!!!
My queen
What an amazing actress ! Great job sophie !
Sansa Stark, first of her name, first Queen and Protector of the Independent North, the red wolf, avenger of injustice - LONG MAY SHE REIGN!!!
🐺 😍 🐺 😍
Sansa is the strongest character on Got, I’m gonna love my queen in the North forever
So satisfying. I know no queen but the queen in the north whose name is stark. And long may she reign.
Always wanted her to be queen. ❤️
Love Sansa with all of my heart.
THE QUEEN IN THE NORTH.
the only thing I didn't like was her comment about how without Ramsay and without littlefinger she would have been a little bird forever. but she was never a little bird no matter what anyone called her. She is a shewolf of Winterfell and always has been.
She would have grown one way or another. The downfall of house Stark was just the hard way for her to learn.
All she was saying was without the hardships she faced, she would not have grown into the woman she is today and that's true of any strong person in this world. It's the struggles and how we get through them that define us.
@@shyztee so she justified rape? and you're saying rape is ok cause it makes you stronger afterwards? what the hell is wrong with you
what's wrong with being a little bird? She is a little bird (kind, compassionate) and a wolf (brave, fierce) at the same time. That's what's best about her.
@@Secondaccount31 Oh give me a fucking break! No one is condoning rape you idiot but she can't change the things that happened to her. So instead of letting the trauma consume her she learned from it, faced down her fears and grew strong from it! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, no pain no gain, there are a million phrases that express what Sansa is saying so save your moronic sermonizing for someone else!!
She truly did come a long way.
I’m so happy that Sansa got her happy ending
this is a masterpiece, such a wonderful tribute to this character
Beautiful Queen inside and out 💖
It always hurts me when I see people's opinions on Sansa. "Overrated, useless, bitch, there is nothing she deserved, she did nothing, everyone must helped her with everything."
She never was in a powerful position, she doesn't have three dragons (also, where would be Dany if there was no dragons?) and she was raised to be a lady of some lord one day, she was raised as a little bird, not as a wolf. All of her life all she can do was just watching her family get slaughtered one by one and she could do nothing about it. She could just wait to get to the powerful position. In my eyes, she is a wolf. A true survivor. The power sometimes isn't in dragons and swords, but in endurance and patience. TRUE QUEEN IN THE NORTH.
Real character development💙🐺🗡
I have only one Queen, The Queen in The North. Sansa of House Stark
If there's one part of season 8 I support, it's this. I've been waiting for this for YEARS. 😍
ΤΗΕ QUEEN IN THE NORTH ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sansa played the most ruthlessly... She knew dany was now week after losing her friend and she handed the time bomb to tryion... She learned from the best in game cerise and little finger, chaos is ladder.
No she only want independent north
Yeah she did that because it was the right thing to do.
In fact I wanna say I'm really happy to see all the positiveness on this video.
There is a ton of Sansa hate going on right now for no reason other than Dany fans are mad she's not the hero
@@justynawojcicka4714 well then she should've fought alone with dead and not fake bend the knee. She took dany most help and return nothing
atif waheed - Whose fault is that? Sansa told Dany to rest and recuperate, but did Dany heed that advice? NOPE! If she stayed in Winterfell, Rhaegal and Missandei would've still been alive.
@@foxy9403 it wasn't fake just she see that Dany don't give her independent North so she stop like work with her
