  • My current rain water collection system with 275 Gallon Caged IBC Tote.
I installed a 1st flush system along with some panty hose to help with filtration.
I have had success over the last few years but I didn't have much luck with keeping junk out of the tote.
So after I pressure washed the inside of the tote I decided to reinstall everything in a new way.

I used you design and it is working perfectly. Thank you!

It’s a little different than the first flush system that dumps the first five or 10 gallons that you collect with bird poop and stuff that’s on the roof. It dumped that amount out and doesn’t allow it to go into your tank.

I have an immersable pump where I just drop my pump down into the water and then attach a hose and pump it out. However, I see only one opening on top and I don't know if my pump could be let down through that opening. What kind of pump were you thinking about getting for this?

Nice set up . If I wanted this to run my house the outlet in my tank would need to be higher than the faucets in my house . ?

Amazing! Why is it elevated? Does that serve a purpose?
