You have a very soothing voice, I really enjoy your videos because the info sinks in way better when the voice of the person is nice to listen to. Great way of planning! Not too much decorations but still cute. Perfect balance between function and decoration
This video was absolutely amazing. I have been following your channel since you started and was very happy and surprised to hear you reference my channel. I'm glad it has been of help to you. I just completed my quarterly review but wasn't feeling well so I didn't film it. My goal setting and project planning systems are in limbo right now and I am debating between the Momentum planner and the Powersheets that will be out next month. Really glad to see the Momentum in use. And really glad to see someone in a professional capacity outside the home using a functional planning process so similar to mine.
I definitely have to thank you! Watching your planner set up videos gave my planning some direction and focus so I could actually put the things I knew how to do into practice on paper. Until then, I was only half-using everything and not really making any progress. Regarding Powersheets vs. MP, honestly, if you don't have any issues goal setting, I would skip the Powersheets (or only buy them once) and go straight to the Momentum planner for moving your goals forward. The Powersheets are a great jumpstart if you haven't set any goals in a while - or at all - but if you're good at setting goals and know your direction, then they're not as helpful. (My opinion, of course.) :) I partially wish the momentum planner came in a smaller size than letter-sized, but then again, I wouldn't want fewer/smaller sections, so that's why I use it as a secondary planner to my personal EDC.
I just watched another review video on the 2017 Powersheets to make sure I was clear on what it did and did not include. I think I may use both, Powersheets for goal setting and Momentum for project planning. My limbo issue has to do with the fact that because I am a SAHM and trying build my work around that (UA-cam, blogging, and direct sales) it is very hard to separate my personal versus work goals. I need to go back to the basics, but after planning for so long that is easier said than done. I'm having a bit of an identity crisis outside of being mom and spouse so I definitely need to get a handle on goal setting. I do agree that I may not continue buying Powersheets every year because I will figure out how to incorporate it after one year but I think for 2018 I will be using Powersheets, Momentum, and my DIYFish inserts.
I hadn't set goals in a really long time, so I definitely needed the jumpstart from the Powersheets at the beginning of this year! And I hear you on the identity crisis part. Sometimes it's those larger shifts in life that push us just enough off our base that we feel a little bit off balance and unsure of what our direction is. I had one of those earlier this year when my job at work had fundamentally changed (in a good way!). That's the nice thing about the planner community - the support and the slightly different perspectives on how to do things!
Love your video - So helpful - I have so many ideas in my head and at times it was hard to also picture the whole process and not get overwhelmed - so this definitely helped me know I was on the right track on somethings and got some great ideas on other items I did not think about. Thank you so much.
Just found you and just subbed. Love organized lives. My question is those sheets that you made and can just slide in and out of your binder without opening the rings: do you have a special hole puncher that adds in that slit as it punches the holes? Or how is it don?
Thank you! For the slits, I just take a pair of scissors and cut into the holes after I punch them. Depending on how thick the paper is (and how sharp the scissors are!), I can generally do 4-6 pages at one time. It really doesn't take too long. 😊
Have you considered becoming an affiliate for Martha Stewart Office products? I watched your video and loved your Martha Stewart planner for your Momentum Planner. I went out and bought a planner binder and paper compact punch at Staples. :)
Hi. I purchased the momentum planner and the only thing that downloaded was a page telling me to install adobe reader. Did you have the same experience. I was very skeptical in purchasing it because I don't trust a lot of websites so now I'm worried.
+Blossom30 X You have to open the file in Adobe Acrobat reader - it won’t work in preview or other PDF readers because of how the file is formatted (it’s essentially a bunch of pages that are bundled into folders inside the file). The Adobe Reader program is free, and you shouldn’t have problems once you’ve opened the file in it.
If they're the ones I'm doing for Thanksgiving/Advent, I started early with one from Hello Mornings (Greatly To Be Praised, which is available through Amazon - amzn.to/2iYa9xH) and am switching to the Advent study from She Reads Truth - www.shopshereadstruth.com/collections/advent-2017/products/advent-2017-study-book-she-reads-truth-pre-order - on December 3rd.
There's also a year-long study via Paper & Glam that goes through the liturgical year that I think I may jump into as well now that I know what it's about. Lisamarie has an introductory video up with the info if you're interested in that one as well: ua-cam.com/video/GEZ9PrVL3Xg/v-deo.html 😊
What things are on your monthly and quarterly review lists? Or do you work more on a week to day basis?

Love the detail. I’m a Controller and would love to see how you set up and work through your work planner.
Ayanna Mitchell As soon as I have a system nailed down, I’ll definitely do a video. 😊
This is great. Very thorough and educational. Thank you for sharing.
Great video, this video answers my questions of how to use the momentum planner. Thank you!
You are very detailed! I like to set quarterly goals too!
My mom's bday is in October too! (Oct 17th)
For some reason, annual goals are more difficult for me than quarterly goals - they're the only reason I got anything done this year! :)

I haven’t looked to see if they have an affiliate program. I’ll check and see. Thank you for the suggestion!

What are the two Bible studies you mentioned?
