HI Paula and Dale, I came across your channel a few weeks ago and was instantly hooked. I started watching from the very first video and am now all caught up. Your vlog has been a welcome and much needed respite for me during these stressful times and in my life as a busy mom. I truly appreciate all of your hard work and admire the dedication that you put into each video. They are all creative, informative, and highly entertaining. I grew up near Reno but have learned so much more about the Las Vegas area from watching you. Paula's yummy recipes have also been big hits at our dinner table. But what I most love about your vlog are your warm hearted, charming and down -to-earth personalities. Your genuine kindness always shines through, and I am sure it has made a positive impact on the lives of everyone watching. Please accept my sincere thanks and very best wishes for all your future endeavors. Stay safe and don't work too hard :)
Hello Quinn, and many sincere thanks for this lovely message!! Not sure at all that we deserve this kind of praise, but honestly, if we provide a little bit of respite or a smile (or a good meal idea), we couldn't be happier! So glad you found us, and welcome to our lovely little community. :)
Quinn Mason Dale and Paula are very professional and knowledgeable. I really enjoy watching and listening to them while learning more about the area. I am glad so many of us like their posts as I hope they continue to post long after the virus is over.
Hi again. How I miss those perfect roads. I loved that easy drive to another world especially from Louisiana where we are now. South Louisiana doesn’t even have a hill except red ant ones. This place is the exact opposite of Nevada. I know the roads are. Louisiana has so much rain and it makes for lots of baaaad roads. I used to bring my granddaughters up to that same restaurant at the lodge all the time. So many happy memories. I want to thank you both again for making these videos so I can be there once more. I watch the videos over and over. How I miss it😔 With love from Catherine (again).
Good morning Catherine... ☀️ We don’t mind a bit if you rewatch the videos! Makes us happy that you’d want to. And we can sure see why...watching one like this, you can just escape your current surroundings for a bit, and almost smell the pines. 🌲🌿🍃
Once again I must say you have a awesome show...great informative entertainment ...Your engage your audience and make us feel like we are at these destnations...5stars warmest regards Todd and family...
Hi Paula and Dale, We really enjoy your channel. We stopped off at Mount Charleston for breakfast at the lodge. Thanks for the tip. Keep up the great work! Your Fans Dave & Robin.
Love waking up to a new video on Sundays from Dale and Paula! What a beautiful place to go and get out of the summer heat. Would love to see you both go back when there’s snow!
We actually did that - take a look in the Description box of this video, and we put a link to a video where we went up the mountain in Feb 2019. Go to about 3 minutes 20 seconds in, and you will see a segment on Mt Charleston in its snow-covered glory! (One of my faves, to be honest)
Hi Dale & Paula. Once again Carl & I have enjoyed your Sunday video treat. Thanks for making the time to take us along on each and every adventure. Until next time, stay well.
I will always remember the lodge. We had a great Thanksgiving Dinner that wasn't planned and they were able to accommodate us. Great food and service of course this was way before the pandemic. 👍😎👽
You two make my day! During these very stressful times, you are such a calming pair. I personally appreciate you more than I can say here! Thanks for your efforts and the fascinating subject matter you being forth. Never knew about that lodge or the cabins Thanks again!!!
We are so glad that you enjoy our content, and our delivery too - if we bring even the littlest bit of calm or relaxation in these challenging times, we are grateful. :)
Hi you two! Here I am again. Talking about feeling nostalgic. We- my granddaughters and I went there in late July just a few days before we moved because it was our favorite place to go. I never tired of it. I wanted to see our beautiful mountain one more time before we left. 😢Unfortunately the restaurant at the top was closed for some sort of maintenance. We would sit on the dog area so the girls could pet peoples dogs. (We don’t have one but soon maybe) So we went down to the retreat. I have dozens of photos up there. Thank you again. My heart is aching
OK you are getting me all misty...you are missing all these wonderful places that you used to visit, and I wonder if your heart is still here in Nevada?
We loved this. We went up their one morning a couple of years ago. It was a really quiet morning when we were there. We were fortunate enough to be seated at those enormous windows that face “the woods”. We’re eating breakfast, talking, when lo and behold, there stood a mama doe and her baby. fawn. They came out of nowhere, grazing and staring right at us. We just stopped eating and watched their beauty. So beautiful. I wanted to run out there and pet/play with them. lol it was a wonderful experience, and the food was scrumptious! Loved your ending! 💜💙
Aww thanks - that ending was all Mr. Dale's idea lol. And as for Mt. Charleston, it is such a wonderful escape - jealous that we never saw the deer, I know they must have been utterly charming :)
Paula McKenzie That morning was all so breathtaking. The snow was melting, the warm sun was out, breakfast was perfect, and then seeing them. We’ve already decided we’re staying there next year for the 4th of July. Every year was way too much stress. We have medication for them, but it’s waaaay too much for us. And! They have certain cabins that are Pet Friendly! Win/win! Tell Mr. Dale that was Thee Perfect Ending! Thanks for another great share. 💜💙
Thank you both for all your hard work in bringing Vegas and out of town areas to us. You both make all of us feel like we're taking these walks n trips with friends. I sigh when each vlog is ended.
We will try, although now that we moved to the southern end of the valley, it's much further away than it used to be. From what we understand, they are definitely going to rebuild. :)
Hey Dale and Paula, I absolutely enjoyed your little trip to Mt. Charleston video! I confess, whenever I'm feeling a little down or whatever, all I have to do is put on one of your marvelous videos and it cheers me right up. You're both so upbeat and positive; ANYWHERE you go seems to be the place I want to be! Please, keep going places outside of Las Vegas for the time being, as right now it really does the trick. I can't wait for the next video!!!
Was that Durango at the end of the video? Watch out for that guy, he's a shifty character. I wonder what an entire video adventure of Durango's would be like? As always, great video and thanks for making them.
We have never driven up to the Mountain top since moving here. You have inspired us to go for a ride. We are glad that you guys are staying safe and healthy. As always, great video.
My favorite couple on UA-cam For sure!!!!! I love the vídeos!!!! Always very intersting vídeos, good informations!!!! Dale and Paula , stay safe!!! All the best for you 2!!❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
Another excellent one! Oh wow one request if you would when they open Mirage August 6th could you film in there because they remodeled I sure would like to see what it looks like since the renovation
We were not aware that the Mirage was being renovated, so thank you for the info. We did a comprehensive tour of the Mirage last summer, on the occasion of its 30th anniversary; we will have to pop back in there once they open, and see what's new. :)
Hi Paula and Dale, thank you very much for this new video, it is excellent, the info that you give us regarding geomorphology and vegetation is very valuable and exact. the low places and when they begin to ascend are very similar to the Province of Mendoza and the Province of Neuquen, in Patagonia, we have the Creosotas and Desert Mallow, we name them Jarilla and Zampa, we do not have Joshua Tree or Yucca, we are almost the same latitude ..., when the quarantine passes we will be in that area and we will follow their videos to travel without making a mistake ... ahhh, you have a beautiful truck, greetings from Patagonia and until their next video.
Carlos, I just love your posts. You paint a picture of Patagonia, that allows me to see it, and see the similarities between your environment and ours. Hope to see you here someday. :)
Another great video, and no one outside the Las Vegas area ever knew how beautiful it is up there. Thank you for always going exploring and introducing us to places beyond the Strip.
Totally our pleasure, believe me. You know, you look at the mountain range in the distance, from the Las Vegas valley, and it looks like a hunk of brown rock. Nothing could be further from the truth! It's so green and gorgeous, we are so happy we could show it to you!
Another great vicarious journey with you two! I was also trying to vicariously cool off through you at those higher elevations. I'm in Florida and my house is at elevation 27, and the highest natural point in the entire state is at elevation 345, so for me a short drive to high elevations is not an option. Your commentary and footage regarding places to pull off to put on tire chains reminds me of how I've "been there, done that" and is one of the reasons I moved to Florida. Anyway, please keep these videos coming, because as you know from the news, Florida is a hotbed for the virus as I type this, so I'm not going to be getting on a plane to Vegas (or anywhere else) in the foreseeable future. Thanks!
We love to bring you virtual Vegas, and virtual mountaintops, as long as we need to! Elevation 27...makes me Laugh! As for the tire chains...well when snow gets bad up there, they close Kyle Canyon Rd to all except residents, so we never have to worry about it...we stay down in the LV valley and look at the snow from a distance lol...
We really look forward to your videos that arrive on a Monday here in Australia & you never disappoint. You make us smile & laugh especially Dale’s pick up line at the end. Very smooth! 😉
LOL Teresa, he is a handful, and that's a fact...:) We are thrilled just knowing that our videos arrive on Monday all the way across the world, and that you enjoy them. Big hugs!
I just love your videos! Good music, good info and great camera work. Please do more videos that show the history. You two are going to surpass 50k viewers before you know it!
The drive through the desert was beautiful. That looks like a nice restaurant. The cabin’s looked like a cute place to stay, so different from the strip. Hard to believe it was just a short drive from all the bright lites and heat on the strip.
One of the things we love about living here - we have all of that natural beauty, an alpine wonderland, less than an hour away from the glitz and glamour of the Strip. :)
You two are absolutely adorable. I found your channel because I was considering moving out there before all this craziness started, and I just love you guys' uplifting take on everything. Those mountains look a lot more like where I live in New England than what I'd picture for Nevada. Absolutely gorgeous. Who knows, when all the dust settles, I might still try and make it out there. Keep up the great work, we all love the videos. God bless
Hi there - well we will take adorable all day long, thanks! :) Nevada is a very mountainous state, which is one of the things that we love about it - and Mt. Charleston is literally half an hour from our house...what a gift! As for you relocating here...well you may want to consider it again, it's a great place to call home.
You never went up there when you lived here?! All those long hot summers - OMG! I am constantly bugging Dale to go up there, as soon as it's spring lol...and pretty much all summer long!
Really enjoy your post. We lovemt. Charleston.and we go every chance we can. Which usually is jan. And will 2021 as well . Often we see snow and its beautiful,. Reminding us that God is producing beautiful weather. We have the french onion soup, and make a snowball, cant do that in vegas
I also enjoy your vlogs snd seeing you both having so much fun in vegas. And sharing with all of us. Keep it up!! We live along texas gulf coast and are still helping people in Louisiana clean yo after 2 hurricanes in 6 weeks. They need prayers from everyone. I hope you don’t mind mention of prayer. We love God and serve him daily . Peggy
Peggy Patterson Peggy we would be glad to lift up your neighbors in Louisiana in prayer. 🙏🏻 And never fear, God is welcome here. 😊 We are glad you like our channel!
That ending cracked me up. Dale... you sly dog. Thanks for the informative video, I never knew that place existed. Oh, and thanks for the names of the plants.
LOL that ending was totally his idea! Now we know you live here locally - do yourself a favor and take a ride up the mountain for breakfast or lunch sometime!
Saw a couple of your videos and I'm liking it. Thank you for always describing your adventure in detail. That's how it should be. Continue your good work.
I’m really enjoying your vlogs!! I don’t blame you for wanting to go on adventures where you can social distance and stay cool. You both are such a sweet couple!! Looking forward to more vlogs
Yep, we had to put our thinking caps on, and say, where can we go to be away from lots of people, be cool, and have scenery for a vlog? Bingo - the mountain fit the bill!
Thank you so much for this!!! We have visited the Red Rock Canyon and were blown away by the beauty in the Desert. Its so great know about Mt. Charleston, seems like a great day trip or even get away! We were heading to Vegas next week, but will wait until we see what happens. Thanks so much for showing us other things to do and see! You two are the Best!!! XO
We are so glad you found it useful - and timely!! It is a great morning trip, or afternoon, you wouldn't even need a whole day - but it is unforgettable, and your photos would be stunning.
Thanks for that...A virtual getaway is just what I needed right now....it's on my bucket list for sure the next time i'm down there. Keep up the great work.
We hope you do - so many people have no access to mountains, or alpine environments, so if you happen to come to Vegas, you can do the Strip AND the mountaintop! :)
Glad you enjoyed it - and yes, we have so much right here, so many different experiences, it's a wonder. Wait til you see where we go this Sunday - another direction, another surprising adventure :)
LOL well if you saw our Las Vegas Blvd North video, you would have seen that photo a bit longer. Many years ago, we were invited to the Thunderbirds Officers Club at Nellis Air Force Base...no cowboy hats on that occasion, only suit and tie would do. :)
Dear D&P, you are such a pleasant and wonderful couple to watch. You're videos are always interesting, thoughtful and very well produced. I know how much planning and effort you put into each video. Thank you very much for making this video. Sincerely, Me and my Wife 😉
I don’t blame you one bit from getting away from the Las Vegas heat and going up into the mountains that was a great plan and what a fantastic views there are really enjoyed this video fantastic guys put that on my list of things to go see with my own eyes when I get to Las Vegas thank you so much for sharing by the way Paula me and Karla decided to postpone our trip until 2021 but we will be in touch and still hope that you and Dale will meet us for drinks or dinner when we return to Las Vegas thank you
What a great video and idea. Yummy chili up there (get the onions and cheese). It looked safe (not crowded). I think I'll take a " get out of the house sanity drive" up there this week. If it looks quiet, I may get a lunch and sit outside. I haven't been to any restaurants yet. Appreciate the video Dale and Paula.
Thank you for this video. In all of the years that I have spent in Vegas, I still have never been up to Mount Charleston. I almost went up last summer, but our plans got canceled at the last minute. But your video definitely makes me want to try again at some point in the future.
Let us encourage you to take even half a day, a morning or afternoon, and go up and check it out. That alpine environment is a thrill, at any time of year, but especially in summer.
Hey guy's, Another great Vlog and GREAT IDEA ! Coming soon and will definitely put this trip on the list! As always thank you for your time and effort. Hope to see ya we their.
Awesome video adventure. Breakfast looked reeeeaaally good. I had hiked a trail called Hidden Canyon Trail and never made it up to the Lodge. Next time will head there and find trails nearby. Maybe that’s an idea for future videos......trail heads! Not sure if you or Paula hike that often but must think that all that walking on the Strip is a hike, 😂😉👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏽❤️
We actually did a more comprehensive video on Mount Charleston last summer, including the trailheads, the wild horses, the ski/snowboard resort, and more - we put a link to that in the description box of this video in case you want to check it out. :)
@@paulamckenzie Have you ever been to Nelson, Nevada? One of the reviewers of the video I saw said it was a photographer's dream. Not technically a ghost town. Because about 30 people live there and take care of it. Lots of rusty vintage cars and trucks and a saddle collection. Might be worth a trip until things improve on the Strip.😎
FogDweller No we have not, but Nelson has always intrigued us - this vlog channel is the perfect excuse to get out there! I believe you have to contact the “owner” of the town and pay a small fee to explore...will have to research that. Excellent suggestion!
Many moons ago my family rented a Mercury Tracer to make that day trip from the strip. I honestly thought we would have to let some passengers out for that car to make it up to the mountain.
They sure do! We always watch the numbers on Sunday mornings, and are amazed at how quickly the views go up, in those first few hours. What a great community we have!! :)
Yes, it is a wonderful place to go for lunch or dinner - particularly in "normal" times. Their full menu is fantastic - bison burgers, steaks, ribs...and lots of great brews.
@@paulamckenzie I meant 95 North, LOL! I was a little antsy as sunset was approaching and my GPS wasn't giving me a routing back to the 95 until I relied on Holy Spirit Navigation and it finally kicked-in! As for the unintended roads, that was how I discovered the Virgin River Gorge, but that's now an unpleasant story. I'm looking ahead to the future... Alone!
It feels like i went there with you. Great video guys 😀 that breakfast looked delicious! I love to see you guys out and about but if it does get tricky due to covid restrictions I would happily watch a new Q&A video if you had time. Stay safe and thanks as always for entertaining us all Xx
Great idea to get out of town! I wish we had rented a car and taken a little road trip when we were there last week. We had not been to Vegas in July and I don't care if it's a dry heat or not, it was still a scorcher on the strip. And being from Texas, I'm familiar with some heat! Thanks for another great video.
Yep, you are right - when we are hitting 110 and more every day, it is scorching hot outside! And being in a mask...OMG too much to bear. So, the only way to go was up! :)
Honestly one of my favorite videos, I love the drive up there. I really love those cabins 😍, I think we'll take a look into it. Thank you Mr Dale McKenzie and Mrs Paula McKenzie! 💗
Good to see youz out that 100 degree heat 🔥... Love seeing different places rather than the strip an downtown.... Our holiday to vegas on 18th Aug cancelled yest... United cancelled the flights... Fingers crossed for you and Paula's trip to bonny Scotland 🏴 in Sept.... Would love youz one day to do a night trip to the boneyard, kp meaning to go when we're there and never got round to it lol...... All the best going forward.......
Oh Thomas, our Scotland trip got cancelled in May - British Airways canceled our return flight, and there was so much uncertainty, we knew we couldn’t come. Hoping for spring 2021. 🙏🏻 Maybe you can come here next year? As for seeing the different places - you will like this week’s video, because it’s another non-Strip destination. 😊
hi again guys have to say your chanell is the only one i never see any thumbs down even the trolls like your work haha. so funny you mentioning the creosote as the only creosote we have here is in our chimneys if we dont clean them!!! stay safe you two im looking forward to next week already
LOL before I moved to the desert, creosote in the chimney was the only kind I ever knew of too! :) As for the no thumbs down thing...I don't know, David, it's a miracle, and we are ever grateful.
I have a Home in Silverstone Ranch, live in LA, when are there this is a must, the food is great, sometimes music. I have bought lots of Jewerly from the Indians who set up several booths. From my house 30 max to cooler weather.
Hi! I have bought jewelry from them too, AND a fabulous handmade glazed pottery vase that is proudly displayed in our family room. Seriously love that place, and I'm with you, give me some coolness, anytime. :)
@@paulamckenzie its funny we stayed in the Lodge a few years ago!!.. I never knew the Cabins hotel had a jetted tub!💖 with a fire place! So I guess we should give it a try!!!💖💖
@@paulamckenzie - Oh for sure, I bet. I went up there back in May, and I did not know how beautiful it was. There are some hikes I need to do when I get back that way. Especially want to go hike Robbers Roost Trail. Stay well and be safe!

Hello 👋 and thank you for watching our videos! We are so pleased that you went up the mountain - yay!
When I think Vegas Vacation I definitely didn’t picture a cabin in the mountains. Las Vegas has so much to offer!!!
You have NO idea!! That's one of the hidden charms of this place, for sure - we love going up the mountain in any season. :)
wow i like it up there some day i hope!
Yet another excellent vlog well done you 2 xxx

Lots of beauty in the desert often overlooked. Such a different setting just a short drive from the Las Vegas Strip, really enjoyed today’s video!

Hello Debra - we love doing history, you don't have to ask us twice. We will see what other ideas we can come up with. :)
So relaxing
Beautiful, relaxing and scenic...why we didn't go there when we lived there escapes me. Next visit for sure! As always, beautifully done!
This sounds like a lovely tradition! Back in early 2019 we went up there just after a significant snowfall, and we vlogged it. What a great day!
Thank you for the lovely compliment - we do give you all the details, we want you to feel like you came along for the ride :)
Beautiful spot and a nice tour of the approach ! Thanks for another fun Vlog ! Enjoy your Sunday ! Best to you both ! Rudy and Kat !
Thanks, as ever, for coming along for the ride you two :)
Thanks for that...A virtual getaway is just what I needed right now....it's on my bucket list for sure the next time i'm down there. Keep up the great work.
We are so happy to give you a little virtual trip up the mountain - hope you can do it for real sometime! :)
Dale didn’t eat all his bacon. Great vid! Looking forward to more like this.
LOL well that little piece fell on the floor...he was very sad :(
Wow you two, I had no idea that was so near to Vegas. I'll definitely be visiting that beautiful place the next time I'm in town.
We hope you do - so many people have no access to mountains, or alpine environments, so if you happen to come to Vegas, you can do the Strip AND the mountaintop! :)
You two are so fun to watch. Thanks for my Sunday fix. Love from Canada 🇨🇦❤️🤪
Hello Miss Kimberley, it's always great to hear from you - way over on the east coast. Thanks so much for tuning in!
Paula McKenzie hopefully things improve so hubby and I can visit in September 2021. We need our Vegas fix.
You should have been a teacher, I learn new thing from your videos and I enjoy it.
What a great thing to say! Thanks Mary... :)
Beautiful, Amazing, something I want to check out on one of my June trips to Las Vegas. Keep up the GREAT work, love your posts.
Thank you Robert, we appreciate you coming along for the ride! Hope you can make time to visit the mountain, she's a beauty. :)
And yet another site I heard about a lot, but I had not seen until you showed us! Thanks
Oh Eduard, look at all the cool stuff you will be able to see for yourself, next time you come over to Las Vegas! :)
Wow! Vegas really does have everything! I’ve really enjoyed this video, thank you for taking us with you! ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it - and yes, we have so much right here, so many different experiences, it's a wonder. Wait til you see where we go this Sunday - another direction, another surprising adventure :)
1:08, a surprising photo of Paula and Dale :) I will visit Mt. Charleston next time!
Sincerely,
Me and my Wife 😉
Hello you and your wife - and many thanks for watching us, and for your lovely comment! Glad you enjoyed the little trip up the mountain. :)
Oh I don't blame you at all for rescheduling to next year - hope to see you then! :)
@@Frances-Joy Yes, it is a glorious getaway, and you do almost have the place to yourself. I encourage you to go!
That looks just about as beautiful as Ruidoso, New Mexico
Yes, I imagine so - there is something so gorgeous about alpine environments! :)
So beautiful!!!!!! Another great video and job well done. Always look forward to seeing your vlogs. Thank you so much!
We appreciate you coming along for the ride! :)
Thank you for sharing. I look sooo forward to Sunday’s (and Wednesday’s) 👍
Aww thanks Randy! We are so blessed to have such a great community. :)
Great Video, Looks like a great spot for Breakfast fun, Have a Blessed Week 🥰👍❤
Thank you - it sure is a great spot for breakfast, and for a getaway from the hustle and bustle down here :)
75 degrees is my type of Weather! Lovely place!
Oh it is - I never want to go back down, once we are up there...sigh
Thank you for this video. In all of the years that I have spent in Vegas, I still have never been up to Mount Charleston. I almost went up last summer, but our plans got canceled at the last minute. But your video definitely makes me want to try again at some point in the future.
Let us encourage you to take even half a day, a morning or afternoon, and go up and check it out. That alpine environment is a thrill, at any time of year, but especially in summer.
Another great video! The ending cracked me up, you guys are too funny! 👍
LOL that Dale is a cheeky fellow... :)
Hey guy's, Another great Vlog and GREAT IDEA ! Coming soon and will definitely put this trip on the list! As always thank you for your time and effort. Hope to see ya we their.
Hope to see you too! And meanwhile, yes, if you have even half a day, do yourself a favor and drive up there...it's just paradise in summer.
I Love You Both!!! Thank you always!!! Close, Open, Close here in San Francisco.
Well misery loves company, right? Close/open/close....sigh :) And we love you too!
Funny, we lived in Vegas for 10 years and never visited Mt Charleston. We will definitely have to visit when we move back.
Great video...Jennie and I went up a few years ago...Fun break away from Vegas
Yes, it is, and I am always gently nudging my guy to head up there when the weather gets like it is nowadays...whew!
Another great video, looks lovely up in the mountains
I could listen to you both all day
Stay safe 😷😀
Aww thank you! We do like to tell a little story and show you some pretty scenery :)
Hi Dale & Paula,
Love your videos.
You always make my
day.😻
Thank you Vicki - lovely message. :)
Wonderful video!!! Y’all are the sweetest folks! I can’t wait to visit Mt. Charleston this Fall!
You will LOVE it in autumn!! Glad you were able to come along on this little breakfast adventure.
thank you both for the wonderful, calm and kind video -- just whats needed in these crazy days
Thank you George - we actually calm ourselves when we watch this one...
@@paulamckenzie you two rock!
Very relaxing video in these very stressful times. Would love to eat outside on the terrace with those great views. Sigh!
OMG it is such a delight to eat outside up there - if we hadn't been filming, we surely would have. The smell, and the scenery - just incredible.
Great video, we are missing Vegas so much from Canada. Stay safe you two.
Oh my goodness, we sure hope someday you can book a trip, and come visit. Thanks for watching :)
Many moons ago my family rented a Mercury Tracer to make that day trip from the strip. I honestly thought we would have to let some passengers out for that car to make it up to the mountain.
LOL and we have to turn off the A/C on the way up, because it is quite steep and challenging, even for an F-150!
Just love, love the end of the video! You two are awesome! 😀❤️
Aww thanks - it was all that rascal Dale's idea!
You guys are so cute . You always put a smile on my face. Just got back last night from Vegas. Stayed at Venetian. Great time !
OMG so glad to hear that! In spite of restrictions, we sure hope you managed to enjoy yourselves. :)
Paula McKenzie Yes In spite of restrictive circumstances we had a great time !
on my bucket list...thank you for sharing a delightful experience
It surely was delightful - and if you have a chance to go, please do - Mount Charleston is worth your time!
Over 1 thousand views in 1 hour 😮👀 yup I'd say people look forward to the new videos ❤️
They sure do! We always watch the numbers on Sunday mornings, and are amazed at how quickly the views go up, in those first few hours. What a great community we have!! :)
Place looks awesome. Would be a nice place to grab a beer and enjoy the view.
Yes, it is a wonderful place to go for lunch or dinner - particularly in "normal" times. Their full menu is fantastic - bison burgers, steaks, ribs...and lots of great brews.
Fantastic video
Aww thank you - we truly loved that little morning escape :)
Dale and Paula, great video. I will definitely check it out if I get to Vegas this year. God bless!!!
Thanks Carmen - we hope you have a chance to get up there...and autumn is pretty spectacular :)
Had an unplanned trip up Kyle Canyon Road this past October when 05 North was closed. Very pretty country.
And sometimes, on those roads you never intended to be on, you see the prettiest scenery. :)
Alone!
Yet another great video. You are so soothing to watch, I gush to say how much I enjoy you both.
It feels like i went there with you. Great video guys 😀 that breakfast looked delicious! I love to see you guys out and about but if it does get tricky due to covid restrictions I would happily watch a new Q&A video if you had time. Stay safe and thanks as always for entertaining us all Xx
Thank you Tracey - we have the best community, you just like everything we post! :)
What a great Video. You both are as kind and sweet as can be. Thank you for the wonderful video’s !
Aww thank you so much - kind and sweet, we'll take it!
I enjoy the tour I didn’t know they had cabins in the mountains🏔 I will love to experience this Thank you for sharing😁
Our pleasure - we had a wonderful morning up there, and we are so glad we could show it to you :)
Love watching you 2 kiddos!
We love that you love to watch us! :)
Hi Paula and Dale thanks for this nice Video i wish a good Time
Thank YOU for watching, Klaus :)
Honestly one of my favorite videos, I love the drive up there. I really love those cabins 😍, I think we'll take a look into it. Thank you Mr Dale McKenzie and Mrs Paula McKenzie! 💗
You are very welcome - you and the family might really have a great time up there, if you rent a cabin for a couple days!
@@paulamckenzie gd stuff.. if the flights are bak by nxt year we will definetely be there...kp up the gd work....
hi again guys have to say your chanell is the only one i never see any thumbs down even the trolls like your work haha. so funny you mentioning the creosote as the only creosote we have here is in our chimneys if we dont clean them!!! stay safe you two im looking forward to next week already
We 💖 MT. Charleston!!!
So do we!! :)
@@paulamckenzie its funny we stayed in the Lodge a few years ago!!.. I never knew the Cabins hotel had a jetted tub!💖 with a fire place! So I guess we should give it a try!!!💖💖
Thank you guys for another great vlogging adventure.
We appreciate you tagging along for breakfast! :)
Great video and that ending! 🤣😂
LOL that Dale - he's a cheeky fellow! Thanks for watching :)
Thank you both!
Truly a joy to do this one - I will take any excuse to go up there!!
Your ending was a hoot, thanks 😊
LOL allll Dale's idea!
Thanks for doing this! I had no idea Mount Charleston was so close. Love the outro...you guys are so cute! :)
LOL it's that cheeky Dale - he's always up to something....and yes, Mt Charleston is literally half an hour from where we live - what a perk!!
Such a beautiful and informative video! Loved watching this!
Thanks so much! We do love going up the mountain, any time of year. :)
@@paulamckenzie - Oh for sure, I bet. I went up there back in May, and I did not know how beautiful it was. There are some hikes I need to do when I get back that way. Especially want to go hike Robbers Roost Trail. Stay well and be safe!
Another great show, looking forward to more.
thank you for riding along!
Hi Dale and Paula! Great video! My husband and I are coming in September. We can’t wait. Maybe we will run into you during one of your staycations!
Would be great, Jane - but even if we don't, we sure hope you two have a wonderful visit!! :)
