LOL, glad I'm not alone in the _sheath launch_ thing. I like it, and it's a really cool finish on the satin version. I think the solid black is extra sexy though! Lots of thoughtful aesthetic details for a relatively inexpensive knife. I could certainly see that this would excel in some things, such as working on a flat surface. This screams fishing knife to me. I definitely prefer this blade shape over the clip, which seems more of an afterthought. Quiet Carry has certainly found a niche in a crowded market, all of their offerings are so unique. Great review!
Really like the belly on that blade. Should be great at making feathers being as you mentioned whittling. That would be a good test makes a feather stick and start a fire. Don't know if the spine is 90° to do a firesteel. I made my knife purchase for the month lol.
Over the Izula I prefer the squared off end of the handle to give the pinky more off a shelf to grip, maximising the effective length of the handle. Also the lack of ramp at the front of the handle so the forefinger can't slide forward at all, the Izula doesn't lock my hand in as much as I would like. The White River Knives Backpacker is good in these aspects.
I love the Current because it’s Slicey and I don’t have to worry about it rusting but another one that you should Check out are the two fixed blades from Rainer knives they are both pretty awesome and I am currently doing the testing on the smaller one so the review and testing should be coming soon 👌
if indeed Peters heat treatment did the HT, i would get one. if made and HT'ed in china, no thanks, im not looking for blade steels that were underdone and trying to sell based on a steel brand name/type.
Mad Man yes I’ve actually already recorded all the testing footage and thoughts on the knife I just have to finish editing it and then uploading it so hopefully I can get it done sometime next week 👌🏻
LC200N my favourite steel for sailboat life, 🤙🏼
I like these better than anything I've seen in a long while in the fixed category.

Nice fixed blade definitely gonna look into getting one reminds me of the benchmade hidden canyon
Looking forward to the full review.
Damn Mr. ! Quiet Carry is hooking you up!!
Lanyard hole is functional too. Keeps the attachment behind the pommel.
I do like the blade shape, very nice
Really nice knife, this is on my list to get.
Yeah, that is very nice, very nice indeed

Long term use video coming? 🍻
Anyone think it's good for Field dressing a deer??
I know this is a old video but I’d sure like to see how this stacks up against the rwl34 of the biker ak1 I’m kinda torn between the two right now
Good content. I’m looking for an all around/camp cooking fixed blade.

Dear Quiet Carry
Stassa23 may be needing another one to confirm this review 😉

@@Stassa23 great news, looking forward to it, thanks!
What was that clip you put on the kydex called?
Ian Viola not sure it came on the knife
Splooge on the blade? Interesting
That's a big belly! Brian's right, it reminds me of the hidden canyon too.
Kinda reminds me of the crkt minimalist only slightly larger and without a contoured handle lol
Where are they made?
Shawn Sisson that’s something I’m not sure of but if I can find out I’ll definitely let you know
