Print on US Letter size (8.5"x11" paper). This template is designed for a 23" head, so make sure to scale it up or down in your printer settings if you are a different size.

This is awesome. I couldn't do that as of now, but maybe one day. Any who I sent you a pic of my Batman helmet a while back. It didn't go as planned but it still turned out great for my first. With that said, even if you messed up your work can still be awesome. You just need to keep up the hard work.

5 years ago when I was looking to pay somebody to make this freaking helmet for me, Nobody could do or envision it. now that I have my own 3d printer and I'm making the helmet myself and I think it's exclusive, I find You with the flip up helmet. I love it... and I hate it. I'm smiling through pain!

Would the helmet work with EVA foam as well? If so, how thick?
Ive honestly never tried hardening EVA foam before, so that might be a challenge. If you want to try, I’d say go with 4mm thick foam!

Hey man awesome job! Is the bread board necessary for the helmet build? And do you always have to keep the helmet connected to the computer once the code is added? and also what was the name of that switch you used? I'm trying to add this mechanism to my mark 3 iron man helmet and this seems the easiest so far! Keep it up! thanks!
Hey! The breadboard is not necessary but it makes connecting some of the wires a lot easier (it basically eliminates a lot of soldering wires together). And no you don't need the computer connected! Once you upload the code, you can disconnect it from your computer as long as there is a separate power source supplying power to your helmet (such as a portable phone charger like the one I used). The switch is called a few things but you can find it on Amazon as a "micro limit switch".
