    As a young Papua New Guinean, I am proud of how far we've come. We have come so far, have done so much, fought civil wars and other internal affairs from which we came out stronger than we ever was. This is the time where we work together and stand together to achieve the common good for our people and to be a leader in the South Pacific and a force in the global stage. ONE COUNTRY, ONE PEOPLE!

    Taking the first humble step is the beginning of great future.
    Job well done to be master of ourselves in everything.
    Lazy people always wants to depend on others and give away great privileges and opportunities.
    If our Grand Chief Somare, we can do it. God will still raise a leader that will lead us to enjoy all our God given blessings.
    God bless PapuaNew guinea and its people.

    The problem is that Australia was so desperate to let the Territory go that they didn't have enough time set up a nation the "right way".

    • @mmmail1969
      @mmmail1969 7 років тому +6

      Australia was in many respects, itself a victim of the stupidity of the "out with the colonialists" mantra, that sadly swept much of the world in the 20thC. Establishing the modern nation of PNG was always going to be a lot of work and it's not like Australia has not shouldered in a number of ways, not the least financially, a huge share of the complex task. Building a stable, "well off" country takes generations, not just "years".

    • @alanbstard4
      @alanbstard4 6 років тому +4

      they had plenty of time to fix it and there's no doubt Australian help would have been there. It will be now that China is going throughout the Islands building relationships in the Pacific. Australia should return as colonial overseers

    9 When God sends a prophet, it is a call, a commission and a prophetic Message but in the boat of Tarshish, it’s "God showed me the Paradise, ... I saw hell!... and so on." In the boat of Tarshish, a pastor, an apostle, a teacher, an evangelist or a church prophet can open his church while he has no Message. And yet the ministry of apostle, prophet of church, evangelist and teacher are the four ministries of Ephesians 4:11 corresponding to the four living creatures that are around the throne and infallibility do not concern the priesthood at all because the priesthood is under the altar, in the sixth dimension. And yet, to bring a Message and to make the people move, there must be a living prophet messenger with a prophetic Message. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"]. And today, all the mankind is in the boat of Tarshish and does not worry.

    9 Well. The auricular confession, that is to say the confession of the sins to a priest or a pastor, is a human institution. The Apostles, since the time of the Lord Jesus-Christ, instituted the public confession by the power that the Lord Jesus-Christ Himself had given to them in John 20:23. The public confession was abolished by the end of the 3rd century and was replaced by the auricular confession, which was established by Saint Benedict, founder of the Benedictine order, but not with remission of sins. In the year 1215, the auricular confession was imposed at the Council of the Lateran and made obligatory, then, two years later at the Council of Trent, it became an absolute dogma. It was in the year 758 that the auricular confession was introduced in the West by the religious orders of the East in replacement of the public confession.
    10 And after the auricular confession, the priest said: "I absolve you as much as I can and as you need it." Instead of saying: "May God forgive your sins and mine!"
    11 And in collusion with the priests, some kings and emperors took advantage of the auricular confession to commit crimes. King Louis XI used to confess once he had committed a great crime and he had, therefore, his heart relieved and a free conscience. And he often confessed, and yet if it was the public confession, he would not do it. And in that same time, this practice was protecting their throne. In Normandy, a young man confessed to a priest saying that he had intended to kill king Francis I. The priest informed the king and it followed what you know. And if it was in public confession, the king could not do anything to that young man. You see?
