Happy PNG. THANK GOD FOR HIS BLESSINGS.
As a young Papua New Guinean, I am proud of how far we've come. We have come so far, have done so much, fought civil wars and other internal affairs from which we came out stronger than we ever was. This is the time where we work together and stand together to achieve the common good for our people and to be a leader in the South Pacific and a force in the global stage. ONE COUNTRY, ONE PEOPLE!
Thank you PNG leaders to bring this nation to another level from beginning to now👍👍
UA-cam's recommendation is on point. Rest in Peace Sir Micheal Somare.

Taking the first humble step is the beginning of great future.
Job well done to be master of ourselves in everything.
Lazy people always wants to depend on others and give away great privileges and opportunities.
If our Grand Chief Somare, we can do it. God will still raise a leader that will lead us to enjoy all our God given blessings.

RIP Grand Chief Sir Michael Thomas Somare GCL GCMG CH CF SSI KSG PC (9 April 1936 - 26 February 2021)
My dad was born in papua new guinea before they got independence
The problem is that Australia was so desperate to let the Territory go that they didn't have enough time set up a nation the "right way".
Australia was in many respects, itself a victim of the stupidity of the "out with the colonialists" mantra, that sadly swept much of the world in the 20thC. Establishing the modern nation of PNG was always going to be a lot of work and it's not like Australia has not shouldered in a number of ways, not the least financially, a huge share of the complex task. Building a stable, "well off" country takes generations, not just "years".
they had plenty of time to fix it and there's no doubt Australian help would have been there. It will be now that China is going throughout the Islands building relationships in the Pacific. Australia should return as colonial overseers
The legacies of the native Pacific human treasures, must continue.
1975 was good for political independence. Now going forward PNG desperately needs fearless leaders to attain sovereign economic independence.
Sir you have made this country proud and happy
Today the country is turning upside down in the hands of our own greed leaders
Why did you leave so early the son you give birth
Rest in peace great chieftain
RIP Somare!!!
We went too quick, needed a bit more help to set up. They forgot a few good men and women that were instrumental in birth of our Great Country. The PNG WAY!

9 When God sends a prophet, it is a call, a commission and a prophetic Message but in the boat of Tarshish, it’s "God showed me the Paradise, ... I saw hell!... and so on." In the boat of Tarshish, a pastor, an apostle, a teacher, an evangelist or a church prophet can open his church while he has no Message. And yet the ministry of apostle, prophet of church, evangelist and teacher are the four ministries of Ephesians 4:11 corresponding to the four living creatures that are around the throne and infallibility do not concern the priesthood at all because the priesthood is under the altar, in the sixth dimension. And yet, to bring a Message and to make the people move, there must be a living prophet messenger with a prophetic Message. [Ed: The congregation says, "Amen!"]. And today, all the mankind is in the boat of Tarshish and does not worry.

Somare ..looks like late fr Walter h.lini
Papua New Guinea we are only Politically independent and not economically independent thats why our country's economy is not reliable.
🇵🇬🇵🇬
Its all God's Plan not by Mistake that PNG got Independence..
Was it also god's plan to let flush PNG down the toilet?
God will give a real chosen leader to bail this country out and it's loving innocent suffering people. It's all God's perfect timing.....
@@peterpipon1158 well said... Amen brother!

RIP GRAND CHIEF SOMARE
Down fall of my beloved PNG when the Australian flag came down for the last time. PNG was not ready for independence. Gone to the village dogs. China is taking over now.
Who are you calling dogs?
It is my belief that we got independence at the right time. When I consider the indigenous Australians now pushed to the fringes of Australian society. I thank God for our founding father Sir Michael Thomas Somare for getting us independence when he did. May he rest in eternal peace. God bless PNG
Independence blo you kamapim orait or koruption nao take over.
9 Well. The auricular confession, that is to say the confession of the sins to a priest or a pastor, is a human institution. The Apostles, since the time of the Lord Jesus-Christ, instituted the public confession by the power that the Lord Jesus-Christ Himself had given to them in John 20:23. The public confession was abolished by the end of the 3rd century and was replaced by the auricular confession, which was established by Saint Benedict, founder of the Benedictine order, but not with remission of sins. In the year 1215, the auricular confession was imposed at the Council of the Lateran and made obligatory, then, two years later at the Council of Trent, it became an absolute dogma. It was in the year 758 that the auricular confession was introduced in the West by the religious orders of the East in replacement of the public confession.
10 And after the auricular confession, the priest said: "I absolve you as much as I can and as you need it." Instead of saying: "May God forgive your sins and mine!"
11 And in collusion with the priests, some kings and emperors took advantage of the auricular confession to commit crimes. King Louis XI used to confess once he had committed a great crime and he had, therefore, his heart relieved and a free conscience. And he often confessed, and yet if it was the public confession, he would not do it. And in that same time, this practice was protecting their throne. In Normandy, a young man confessed to a priest saying that he had intended to kill king Francis I. The priest informed the king and it followed what you know. And if it was in public confession, the king could not do anything to that young man. You see?
Somare had the first chance to set up png for the future we could have been like hong Kong Singapore..u failed sir Grand theif..your legacy is a failed one
