BMW M550i Winter Review/POV

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas!! I hope everyone had a fun blessed day! Today I take my M550i on a winter drive and give my thoughts and review of how amazing this car is in the snow! We just had a huge storm so I had to jump on the opportunity! If anyone is looking to get this car and is worried about driving in the winter this is the car!! I’ve personally been fine in comfort as well as normal sport when it comes to driving in the snow or on a icy road but I typically use eco pro individual with coasting off most of the time because of the throttle response for taking off at lights

Love the car. Do you think the xDrive Version would be a big improvement in safety?

Very big difference. Non XDrive means it’s rear wheel drive and in quick situations where I’ve found myself loosing grip on ice the front two wheels would keep me planted.

When I do most of my commuting around town I average around 22 mpg in eco pro or comfort and in sport plus getting on it I get around 16mpg but on the freeway in eco pro this car does 30+ mpg all day if your easy on it and chill around 75-80mph. I have notcied having winter tires on the car has decreased the fuel economy slightly I’ve been getting around 27mpg lately on the freeway. Still excellent for a heavy V8 monster

If you don’t have the performance tires on the car. People think that AWD means that you have a good winter car even if your tires are summer performance tires. I have the track package and know that you should not wait for a snow storm to swap out the tires.

Bakal kosong dunia bro sebentar lagi..jaga rumah bro hahahaah...yg gak asli tim bmw pun mati ni bro, mau di merdeka kan Tuhan ini rezim kekalifahan yg sunnah-sunnah ini seperti hafiz-hafizo, orang-orang 'alim lain nya, malaikat, jin, bidadari, dan anak bayi untuk sebagai penerus nya hahahahh....

I’m in between getting 2022 M5 or M550i and so far it’s all leaning more towards M550i. The only reason I can see for getting the M5 is, it’s an M5…

For the price difference I would 100% go with the M550i. It’s the best of both worlds with comfort and sportiness. Also a very reliable car as well. Wont be drowing in M5 maintenance. The possibilities for modifications are also just as good since the engines in the newer ones share very similar build design.
