I agree that he needs to sing some genuine yodeling songs, of which "Lovesick Blues" and "Lone Gone Lonesome Blues" really aren't. There are 100s of yodeling songs of many different levels and styles out there he can pick from, if he really wants to be considered a yodeler. Other than that he's a very fantastic country music artist who outshines a lot of today's wannabe 'country' artists. However, I do know that his label will control which direction his career goes. And for the most part they really aren't interested in traditional country music.
Awesome. Reminds me of my childhood. My mom was a country fan. She played a lot of songs with her band. She played out with her band and played square dances. We always kids. She played all types of music. She played the organ in church also. Round dancing with square dances was her favorite time. She played for her 90th birthday party.
