Congratulations! I just stumbled upon your channel but am very happy to hear your good news. I wish you all the best in your new job and I enjoyed the meme photos spliced in between the video. You've got talent and a good sense of humor. :)
That interviewer is very realistic in offering you choices to do whatever you can to solve the problem even using Internet resources if needed. We all do that as well in practice...well at least I do and the people I work with also. I for one can't remember everything on the spot without googling at times and frankly I don't want to and need to. Instead problem solving skills, being resourceful and having the persistence to find a good solution are best traits for being successful long term in this field IMO. Good luck in your new career.
congratulations on the new job - you may impress them over the 12 months and they could decide to offer you a new contract. I hope things work out and I wish you the best.
Good for you Euphie. My 2 cents, learn what interest you, then post your journey on youtube. I have a good feeling about this channel. I think you'll do well in a couple of years. Try this schedule. Aim for 1 vid a week, with each video about 10 mins long. If you can, take it to 15 to 20 mins. You have a REALLY good chance of making it if you do that. Anyway, congrats on getting a job. Hope you have a great year there.
And sixth - as you grow over the next twelve months, you have an opportunity to be job hunting for better opportunities 👍 First three months remain deadly focused on mastering your role and the skills needed to fulfil the role. Be proactive, ask a lot of questions, don’t be shy in the early weeks to reach out to team mates… study documents and wikis… discover expectations from your direct report… what you need to know, what needs to be delivered, etc 🙏
Great, congrats. I remember that was exactly what you thought was missing in the test. Should have given that feedback straight away.. Would have really made a great impression..
Congrats. Maybe want to consider transitioning to a Business Analyst role. You might want to ask your recruiter if the offering company has a history of hiring contract employees? Also, hope you continue to post content. Very good stuff.

Happy for you, really. Here in France, the struggle is also real (QA field + swe background) and I hope I will have an opportunity as well.

I just had my job offer rescinded 3 days before starting. Don't stop interviewing and accepting job offers until you have a paycheck.
Congratulations 🎉!

Great, congrats. I remember that was exactly what you thought was missing in the test. Should have given that feedback straight away.. Would have really made a great impression..
Better to start job hunting 9 months from when you start your contract job so you don’t have to take the first offer that comes along.
