Perfect timing, my good man; I am making my first attempt at Zenithal Priming the X-Men United characters this afternoon. Thanks for the video and tips. ;)
I use white ink for my zenithal priming because I've not had good luck with white paint or primer at all. It's always been too thick for me to use. I understand the issues that you mentioned with white ink. However, if you shoot the ink on the model and then switch back to air, it should cause it to dry quicker. This way you won't be splattering the ink everywhere.
I go back and forth on which I like to use. The ink is definitely thinner and smoother, but more delicate. Unfortunately, I didn't have any models to show where I've used it successfully (they're already painted!). But you're right about all the things you said.
Thanks for the video, very informative! Waiting on my all-in X-men wave 2 for February! (by the way, does this mean no more Marvel United figures for your video's then? I would still like to see your take on Vision or Scarlet Witch!)
No, I still have some MU videos in the pipeline. I'll mix them in with X-Men occasionally. Hoping to get as many out as I can before wave 2 hits backers. (And you'll be seeing at least one of those two figures on the channel ;) )
What size needle are you using in your airbrush? I finally started using my airbrush recently and it seems to take forever to prime and I wonder if I have too small a needle.

How fortuitous! Have fun and share how it goes!
Wowww you already receive it!! Good job man! Hope you are enjoying the new corebox ;)
Would work the same with brush? Brush + drybrush highlights
nice video. I am using tubes and still learning on it. Do its better to have small unprimed primes than to much?
It's probably better to have a little less coverage. A slightly unprimed armpit is better than a model pooled with primer, filling in all the details.
@@baseshadehighlight4627 thx :)

Thanks for this! Which putty did you use to cover Magneto? I'm new to airbrushing techniques and I'm building up my toolbox, so this is a huge help.
Good ol' Silly Putty
