Give them the money and keep your mouth shut. Kids are smart and will manipulate adults and Ken seems to enjoy all to say he's a father and a provider. My dad and mom were married and my dad passed. When my mom remarried my step-dad came in on all the same thing Ken did I didn't have to work for nothing like I did when I would ask my dad for stuff. I knew that my step dad felt that if the kid liked him the mom would and I used that to my advantage. My dad on the other hand would make me cut grass rake leaves shovel snow was the car vacuum you name it when I asked for money he always found something for me to do to earn it. My step dad on the other hand I asked he gave I don't ever recall him saying no. My bio dad was the president of the say no it builds character club.

This scene at Melody’s event would have been the perfect time to for Trish to say “Hey Marquez can you send the kids money ?” Instead, she asked Ken to do it . Also, Trish seemed salty that Marquez brought Mel flowers .
