Hey, Paul! You mentioned that you can give the learners playback controls in a slide video, but how can we do that?

I think there is a video already about this but the short answer is that you can simply use the built in playbar to control the video since slide video runs in sync with the timeline.

Hey Paul, It's a timely tutorial. Is there a workaround using overlays on the video grid media block? For whatever reason, my overlays on video slides are not working correctly on my LMS (the preview is fine and Adobe has tested my file out on their LMS and says it's fine). Here's to hope I can solve this issue shortly. Just checking in on whether you ever had to solve this issue.

Sometimes, when I'm faced with a problem like this that I'm trying to solve, I step back and think about what I'm trying to accomplish from a learning perspective. Maybe you could edit your video into segments and place the segments on individual slides. Between those slides, put the content you intended to use as an overlay on their own slides. Great advice! I believe that it's easy to become fixated on our own perspective when designing a course. I appreciate your suggestion, but I am concerned that it might compromise the aesthetic I am going for. For example, I used a zero opacity level on the question slides to reflect a true overlay.@@CaptivateTeacher

Hi,, I don't get the video playback bar how I activate it. And the video have the audio active.

It’s on by default for multiple video media block. You won’t see it for slide video. If you are having issues with this Adobe can troubleshoot this for you. Email them at [e-mail]
