Thank you so much for this, Paul! I look forward to see how the "Training" mode works. By the way, is it possible to do a simulation of a phone app? (Or how a web app works on a phone?) Specifically, a responsive version of a phone app?
It used to be possible in Classic on macOS but I'm not sure if that feature has come over to version 12 or yet (I'm on Windows).
Hi Paul. This has been really helpful. I'm just wondering how can I remove the typing sound of the text for demo simulations? It's kind of distracting whenever I publish my work.
I'm not sure if you can remove it once you have created a demo simulation but you can turn it off for future recordings. From the record simulation window, select the settings icon. Under audio options you will see the option to turn off keystrokes and keyboard tap sounds. The top most option is for you while you are recording, however the indented one is the demo recording itself.
Hello Paul. Thank you very much for these great videos. they help me a lot. However, i have one problem with the screen capture. Something is off with the resolution. I follow exactly what you do but when I preview the screen is much bigger and doesn't fit into the window anymore. any ideas what's happening there? thanks much
Do what I do when something doesn't work as expected. Send an email to captivatehelp@adobe.com for troublehooting help. They are not as busy as the Photoshop people so you can expect someone to get back to you.
Are the only export options HTML5 / SCORM and the like, or other more compatible options too? Something like ActivePresenter does this but also allows for video & PDF exports, for example.
I use Acrobat if I need to create PDFs and Adobe Premiere if I need video. Captivate's purpose is to create eLearning content in a browser.
Hi Paul i have been utilizing your videos a lot! When I do a demo simulation of power point and then go to preview my file, each slide is extremely zoomed in. Do you know how to adjust the size once I have the demo uploaded in captivate?
If you need to import PowerPoint, I would use Classic.

Can I record my face as well explaining about the screen being redorded?
Video Demo is the feature you're looking for, and it's available in Adobe Captivate Classic. Remember, your subscription gets you both versions. While it still needs to be added to the All-New Captivate, Adobe aims for parity with the two versions by 2027. Need a Video Demo now? You've got it in Classic.
Hello, Paul. Every time I try to work on the simulation, as soon as I make the first mouse click, my google chrome completely closes. Do you happen to know why?

The All-New Adobe Captivate is responsive design. Therefore, there isn't an option to publish it as a fixed aspect ratio video. For this you would need to use Adobe Captivate Classic.
