This match looked like what hunt is supposed to be. Long drawn out fight, team in a difficult position and not just blasting everybody. Really exciting and I wish you would post more like these. Most other videos lately look like you're never in any danger. Wish my games would go the same way, they did 2 years ago, but now people hit heads constantly like this guy was hitting you, except every game and in 3stars.

Was playing with my firends who are new to the game, ive got 1,700 hours. Got downed by a beartrap on bounty, called out the bear traps and immediately stepped on one right next to it cause i did the exact same thing i did the first time lmao. Happens to all of us. Went from 5 stars to 3 that same day too
Mike, when there's people like you and me, whom play the game for fun, and suck at it, there's no need for unsubbing. And it perfectly shows, that getting farmed, is sometimes a huge part of the game. I sometimes wish, I'd never hit 5 stars ever again, because the fun zone, is ending there rather quickly. But then again I hit regularly, knowing that I sometime will stay there forever.
Would like to add that you guys absolutely won that while using the Shredder at the most suboptimal distance! If I had to take a guess, the first dude of the Trio getting impatient sealed their fate, because then you played it slowly until advantages were presented.
Hello Mike, hi fellow hunters So I've been 6* on both my account for the last few weeks, playing everything really But today, I unraked to 4* after a loong session where I couldn't do sh*t at all. 19:51 I think the enemy hunter actually SHOT the explosive sawblade right after Mike launched it from the Shredder, it exploded mid-air and in the slow-mo the enemy hunter shot a frame or two before the blade exploded; just a really unlucky moment.

My group started to play hunter themed loadouts so for 3 days now i didnt had a real weapon in my hands since we ran around with the new bat-skin and all sorts of throwables ,we even made a circus-Show in voip with the pre-malone and the 2 circus girls ^^ Hunt is way more fun if u alow it to be that, i tryhard way to much and it ruins competitiv fun for the whole week if it happens on monday, gotta enjoy Hunt while its crazy murder circus time ^^

Matches like this remind me how much I really don't like fights at Ironworks sometimes. Once you're dealing with P100 Mosin using types on one of the rooftops, there's usually nothing you can do unless you manage to headshot them. But even then, they can usually be revived before you can push up so it's just a battle of attrition. There really needs to be some cover added so you can move over to that building opposite the boss lair.
The shredder is a bullshit gun... it just shoots bullshit. There are other obnoxious guns already in hunt, but getting killed by a nitro feels exotic because it's not common... putting a shredder in every single match makes it ubiquitous bullshit. Add in poltergeist, rapid fire single shot weapons, blade mancer making limb shots lethal, necro-bolts, and tokenless darksight boost ... ON TOP of the silly factor being turned up to a 9.5, I'm not getting good feelings about this event or what comes after the event. How long until we can "bend bullets" like in the movie Wanted? Matrix style bullet dodging in darksight? Parkour wall running and hip sliding while fanning your chain pistols anyone?
And those matches are why we got the recovery shot, to bad those matches are 1 in 500 or more ^^ Taking the recovery shot with oneself means you believe you gonna die, or rather you intend on dying and using it after, instead of simply playing to win from the start with a frag, wich is a rather questionable playstyle ^^
One of your friends is playing as support IN HUNT SHOWDOWN absolute mvp (the one guy healing you always and asking if u have ammo and are you missing chunks and so on)
They should count assists on kills when you do that, poor guy isn't getting anything despite being almost if not more useful than the main attackers, I'd like to try it too
Guy with incendery winny + mosin bayonett probably started with loadout shotgun + winny incendery, but after he visited a supply point he could take box with random rifle, so thats why he was with mosin, why he did that, well, who knows :D
After playing for 5 plus years and taking a break for the past few months.... I don't even recognize the Spammy death weapon with spamming health darts. Wtf. I miss old hunt. Won't be coming back. I hope Hunger is a great game. Miss Mike tho, lol

never imagined not having fun with Hunt until I met the Shredder...no counter, now imagine a full team of shredders with tons of ammo boxes...its super game braker and drains all the fun of this game, please get rid of that stupid shit, thanks
You know these shots can fly back to your own face right? Shooting the Shredder in a 1v1 face to face combat is ending in a trade 90% of the time, how truly "broken" can a weapon be if u cant shoot it straight without killing yourself? Sometimes being dramatic aint helping on finding a calm viewpoint ^^
havent seen a 'full team of shredders" yet on console..... but i'm a top 6 star mmr when solo sooo..... shredder isn't that threatening to the top dawgs....
I played around 20 hours in 4-5* lobbies since event release and never met a trio of shredders. And when I am fighting teams with them, more often than not I win. This thing is way too unpredictable to be as game breaking as you're saying.
Yeah the balance of the game is kinda weird, but i do want to admit they actually held up their part on the bug fixes. But hey, atleast we are getting a Hotfix with balance changes while an event is active. Never thought id live to see the day...

Or, you know, contingencies. I’ve had great success running it. It’s also very handy when you have little fiery accidents.
