This doesn't help the air pollution, that is the reason there a recycling plants. Honestly, where were his brains, in his feet? What a stupid, foolish thing to have done!
Big deal. My dad would put balls of newspaper in a roaring fire at night, then we'd run outside and watch the burning balls come out of the chimney. Great memories
Hardly. Since it's a brick and mortar chimney it was most probably built with fire rated materials. The Chimney in my old home (built 1952) worked fine for us for 66 years. Though we sold the house, I presume it's still working. We even had fires bigger than that. We always used to cut up out Xmas tree and burn it in the fireplace. Cardboard, as shown in the video, burns fast and hot, but doesn't have duration to really heat up the cinder blocks.
Honestly it looks to me like he had it all under control. Even knew the box would eventually roll out so he had the grate ready to catch it.

Cardboard burns cool, and that dude doesnt look like a complete dummy afterall. And he even tried to protect room from flames using some metal net
Thanks bro!
WOW... What a BIG ROARING BONFIRE (AKA a "Swoo") in that massive fireplace, but be VERY CAREFUL at your own risk to make a fire like that.
I’m from Ireland and saying a cardboard box in your fireplace in your house is a bonfire offends me you’d don’t know what a bonfire is

Quick intense heat...on the liners of the chimney can cause them to crack 🤔
Don’t play with fire. This happens.
Not even close to burning down the house. Fire was totally kept inside the fireplace.
