Thank you for the recording love seeing it as I left in1956 wwith my American husband back in58 for one year aand then came to America. We as teenagers loved to go up to Cardington Camp for the dances and also to the Corn exchange which had wonderful dances, also Paulos cafe across from the market was a safe place for us girls to go and eye the boys who hung around there.
Thank you for this. Such great memories. I still have and use tools I bought on Bedford market in the town centre in the 1960's. I remember night clubbing in the Corn Exchange too and walks along the embankment. The train spotting was good in Bedford too. So many memories.
I was brought up in Leighton Buzzard, my greatest enjoyment was engaging in sporting activities Rugby football 1950s cricket rovers & captain of the forresters & later a member of the hockey club great times & great memories.Laurence Tysoe

Great Video Thank you Bedford Great Place !
Lovely to see old Bedford ..once a great town but now a dirty overcrowded town centre that resembles something out of the middle east ..a sad end
Yes , it’s a pity but Bedford has joined the ranks of the Turd 💩 Towns 😂
