You could stand and chat to a chap like that for hours on end, Chris. Old school legend. You are one of the most genuine respectful guys I have ever come across.
Good call helping Errol out Chris , poor old lad , you could tell how appreciative he was and I imagine at his age after his life asking for help isnt an easy task . I'm not gonna lie as a slightly older old git myself It made me feel proud of you to see you help him out , 79 👊 the guys a whole different machine to the youth of today , England was built by men like Errol . Bless him , I think he needs to be a new regular struggler star with a weekly call in to see how hes getting on and if he needs a hand 😎
I have to say Chris the respect you showed Erol was very sincere. You both represent what this country used to stand for ! You are both an inspiration.
The older generation like Errol is a dying breed. The experiences that he has had and all the things he has seen must be amazing. Good on you Errol for continuing on with what you want to do. Good on you Chris for taking the time to listen to him and help him out. Your one of a kind Chris true to who you are and very respectful to the older generation. Loved the video keep them coming. 👏👍🇨🇦💕

Brilliant video, at 77 I changed a dual mass flywheel and Clutch on a Nissan working on my back, almost beat me but I struggled on. Took nearly a week to recover. As I’ve said many times never again until the next time.
Thanks Chris, great to hear Errol's stories and that he is still working at 79. I have been on the spanners for 56 years now and still working, it keeps you motivated.
Brilliant listening to you and Errol. I've always enjoyed talking to the old boys, whether it be drivers, farmers, builders. You can't buy experience! Well done Chris. 👌👍🤠
My old man came back from the war and started working for his uncle who had some old American wagons. His uncle had an REO speedwagon with a broken throttle cable so he was sat on the wing while his uncle drove it into the yard when he slipped and went into the fan severing all the tendons in his hand. Was told by the doctor he would never use it again but my grandfather who was a dairy farmer put him to work hand milking his herd. A week later he went to the doctor and opened his hand up, the doctor couldn't believe it.
Hey Chris bloody good show helping Erroll bloody lovely guy just like you I have been running an old girl up and down to hospital for cancer treatment it's all about helping others buddy isn't it nice one Chris bloody good shift keep the videos coming what a great show respect your elder ones it's how we were brought up mate isn't it 👍 ❤
I would love Errol to write a book……what great stories, I wasn’t shy at the same age he was doing spuds, I was bagging 12 to 15 ton of Sand and gravel a day , 50 kg not the proxy 20 kg you get now, ,plus loading at least 10 to 15 ton of cement to customers…and in the pub 5 nights out of 7 to wash the dust down, and fit as a flea…..👍😉🇮🇲💪

great vids mate . i put a bow saw through my left wrist , same thing gaping hole no blood and you could see all the workings inside. Brand new Sandvik blade just bounced of the tendons luckily
I have a fake severed hand on my tool box to remind me to work safe after a colleague whom services generators like me in the same company different location did some water pump repair fan drive belts and diidnt refit the guards and when he ran it up the container door blew closed and he got sucked to the radiator and tried to stop himself and arm went through and lost his hand. Thankfully he was in the workshop yard and thr generator rewinders where in and heard the screams and thankfully used insulating tape to stop him from bleeding to heaven Thankfully they saved him and he was flown to hospital and he recovered but I don't think he ever returned to work. I left the company shortly after to another. Daytime only struggle.. Be careful out there
Great vid. Men like Erroll are few and far between nowadays. Reminds me of my grandad, stories for days if you're interested and can relate. Always have a solution and tool for any problems. Dying breed unfortunately 😢
