The older generation like Errol is a dying breed. The experiences that he has had and all the things he has seen must be amazing. Good on you Errol for continuing on with what you want to do. Good call helping Errol out Chris , poor old lad , you could tell how appreciative he was and I imagine at his age after his life asking for help isnt an easy task . I'm not gonna lie as a slightly older old git myself It made me feel proud of you to see you help him out , 79 👊 the guys a whole different machine to the youth of today , England was built by men like Errol . Bless him , I think he needs to be a new regular struggler star with a weekly call in to see how hes getting on and if he needs a hand 😎
Chris you need to do a series of videos on these old boys their stories need to be heard and not forgotten love hearing them keep them coming nothing like a good war stories

Erroll is a rare breed. I could listen to elders like him for hours.

My old man came back from the war and started working for his uncle who had some old American wagons. His uncle had an REO speedwagon with a broken throttle cable so he was sat on the wing while his uncle drove it into the yard when he slipped and went into the fan severing all the tendons in his hand. Was told by the doctor he would never use it again but my grandfather who was a dairy farmer put him to work hand milking his herd. A week later he went to the doctor and opened his hand up, the doctor couldn't believe it.
Chris I'm like that Erroll I'll be working till I'm 80 I'm nearly 64 and I just least a van for the next 4 years .
What a top bloke I love listening to the older generation drivers and they're stories.

Brilliant video, at 77 I changed a dual mass flywheel and Clutch on a Nissan working on my back, almost beat me but I struggled on. Took nearly a week to recover. As I’ve said many times never again until the next time.
Thanks Chris, great to hear Errol's stories and that he is still working at 79. I have been on the spanners for 56 years now and still working, it keeps you motivated.
