Visit of the artist's studio and garden, Laurence Saunois, ANIMAL ARTIST : painting and gardening

Laurence Saunois, ANIMAL ARTIST, creates animal paintings but not only. In this video, she takes you to discover her artistic universe with the visit of her artist's studio and her garden which was awarded in 2011 by the Ministry of the Environment in the Ecophyto contest. This competition rewards good gardening practices, ecological and without pesticides of amateur gardeners passionate about biodiversity.
She opens the doors of her workshop, shows you the equipment she uses: her brushes, palettes, easels, lighting and her small cabinet of curiosities.
She draws her inspiration from her artist's garden and sometimes discovers her future subjects there: paintings of birds and flowers most of the time. She also paints dogs, cats, horses and wild animals on commission. But she does not limit herself to that, and also paints big cats and other more exotic animals.

Wonderful! You are so organized! Your garden is lovely. I lost many plants in mine last winter, so now must replace them. Very sad because I lost my beautiful yellow peony. 😔
