@@StudentDoctorEli yes omg...they're making their rounds. Since the CARES act expired, grad students no longer qualify unless they work 20 hours a week
My school bases finacial aid on having a roommate. So, we have very little to live off of especially if you want to live alone. They will not increase your loans if you need more money.
I’m starting GSDM in July 2023, I want to keep my cost as low as reasonably possible. What’s your opinion on bringing my car to BU? I kind of think it will be too much liability for me. Can I do with riding the T?
i ended up selling my car. the public transportation in Boston is more than enough for me. ultimately, that's a very personal decision to make, and what works for me may not be for everyone. I will say, i'm very happy to not have that expense anymore.
Concise and helpful. Thank you!
You're welcome!

They’re starting to phase out food stamps for graduate students and I’m so sad for what that means for my budget😭😭

Dang. What school is this? I would like to live alone in dental school.
@samuelhastings4177 It's a SDA school in Cali. I don't recommend it, especially if you are black.
@@a.stewart7554 oh no! I was actually thinking about applying to that school.
my school does too.. because its impossible to live alone in Boston for under 2k lol. honestly under 2.5k is a steal
