I'm almost 22,,(a month away) and for me too i didn't knew what i actually wanted or what was my ability and just like that 4 years passed since high school and I'm still here looking for uni when my peers have graduated looking for jobs,,your story really made me feel I'm not alone!! thank u for this and all the best for ur future, cheers to us!!!
I have failed GCSE maths and I am 19. So I have to re-sit for GCSE maths and then there's also 2 years of A levels. I might also be joining university at 22.
Idk if your ever going to read this man but im 20 currently redoing all my A levels because i failed every single one. Ive stopped meeting people because im just so ashamed of the person ive become. yes i am a personal trainer and everything but my elder sister is doing medical which makes me feel like shit about my self man but lets hope i get into uni by 22 🤞🏽
But yet again this video makes me feel a little better about myself as there are others like me thanks man hope your doing well at uni and never give up
@@abdullahtahir2511 Hello Abdullah! Thank u for ur message. Doing well in ur exams dont mean ur smart, it means ur good at the education system. Which is completely different. I didn't even do my a-levels do begin with and now I'm smashing Uni. For meeting people, you shall soon realise that not everyone is thinking about you as deeply as u think. Despite what ur aunties say about u, ur so much more than that Abdullah. Let's go
Yo dude. We are exactly in the same boat. I’m a bit older, I’m 24. But i started college at 22 because being a personal trainer is rough and doesn’t pay the bills. I jumped the gun, took my clients to my garage from the gym and I train them independentl. I use all the money I make to pay for uni. I make a lot more with less clients because I keep the full payment. You aren’t alone. Being a trainer is one of the hardest jobs, but pays below poverty. Change your plan up. Maybe pursue a degree in nursing, Physical Therapy, Excercise Physiology, anything that can use your kinesthetic knowledge to help people
I took, for me, for someone to tell me that it’s OK to not have your life together by 22, but I feel you, yea it’s ok to not have life together but not be graduated at 22 is like, WORSE, and it’s like damn if you couldn’t do that then you can’t do anything
In Singapore, guys start uni at 21/22... even girls start at 19. I started at 24. So I am not sure about this. To be honest, I feel insulted, but I am ok.
Bro my with situation with u is so similar I’m starting uni at 22 as well with the same barriers to overcome with with lack of motivation, Covid etc and and I’m Asian too. I though I was the only was one and overthink but I realise there’s so many people with similar circumstances. Keep up the work broski
Same bro. I’m going university at 21 or 22 bro. Its never to late to get some education. Education doesn’t stop at any age Subbed cuz I liked the video. Keep up the good work.
My jaw actually dropped when you said 7.5k for a BTEC, good on you though, I’m 19, deferred last year, not going this year I just don’t know what to doooo :(
Wow our pathways towards uni are so similar, it give me a sense of relief lmao. I start uni later in the year and i’m gonna be 22 when I do so. I’m feeling a little anxious about it icl, if you could share how ur experience is going so far and give any advice to me it would be much appreciated fr.
starting university at 22 in London next week and I'm super nervous. I went to uni when I was 18 but I was super immature and then I dropped out kind of wish I stayed ngl because the thought of going through freshers again and trying to make friends is super jarring, but I'm trying to be positive about it.
