As an Irish man, who read preacher in the 90s, I even had a Jessy doll with light up eyes.. Who has admired Joe Gilgun since Emmerdale and loved him in This is England... Who is so proud of our Ruth Negga.... I fckn LOVE LOVE LOVE Preacher... And this was an amazingly made show, casted show and sorely missed show. Every episode was amazing and every single scene with Cassidy was unreal. Top stuff.
Albagaga That's a solid theory. Can't wait for the next season. This show has been amazing. My only complaint is that it wasn't in HBO or Showtime so they could be free to really push it as far as they really wanted and as far as the comic deserved. Otherwise I think they've done an amazing job.
In one of the first few episodes, he keeps mentioning his "Granny B". At first it sounds like he's lying but when questioned about it he admits she isn't his grandmother but is his Granny B. Could be that he's telling the truth and as the one who turned him, she's one of his contacts for when he needs help. Or could be B for Billy, his brother. Or could be any other vampire I guess lol. I don't think we'll know for sure until the show covers it as it's not gonna stick directly to comic canon. He can't have been 16 when he got bit because surely he'd still look 16.
Spam this is late. But the newest trailer for the next episode states he’s been a vampire for 89yrs, so I guess he was turned when he was 30, considering he states in S1 that he’s 119. Can’t wait for his background story in this series. Hopefully it’s soon!
