- Welcome back to the channel in today’s video we start on our 2019 Chevy Silverado, we purchased this truck from Insurance Auto Auctions also known as IAAI.com and we are rebuilding it back to pre accident condition. The truck has minor frame damage to the left front wheel area and some minor body damage as well, no airbags where deployed and the truck is in very good mechanical condition. Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy the video.

safety is important love the flip flops .......
Was thinking same thing. Shop safety from a man rocking gym shorts and flops. Oh no goggles. 😂
This is EXACTLY the type of videos I enjoy watching from you...making DESTROYED metal useable again....don't worry about "not filming boring stuff" because THAT is the stuff I love to see...also...I love your humor as you pound away...keep it up!!!
How the hell do you only have 52K subscribers! quality content. Frame work is the best part of the job. That's what got me into vtuned and then yourself. Keep it up.
Thank you very much I appreciate the support
I love watching you do frame work. Keep going with these type of videos.
To be honest with you yuri I prefer the in depth videos should do more of them! Absolutely love the work you do. Sending thanks from the uk
Looks a lot safer then what I use to do in my younger days. we would use a tree some chains a clamp and a cumalong .
@thomaspoole2577
😂👍🏻very similar to what I used to do as a kid
I used telephone poles and chains and a big come along 😂😂
That certainly gets to the root of the problem quickly enough! My Dad took out a whole orchard of old apple trees that way. 👍
I love watching the frame work. What you have is a concave frame deformity. My experience is limited to putting people back together (orthopedic surgeon).
Consult with the cat. He is the man.
“Pecking like a Rooster” have you ever heard that? Now you have!
I love you and your brother's channel, because for me, you are like surgeons operating on these vehicles who are your patients. Too bad, given how damaged, and misaligned some people are, you can't put them on a frame machine and straighten their asses out, so they can behave the right way in society.
The best part about the long version of this. is how much explaining you do. its like a doco
Air bladder inserted in that hole. Fill it with air. The front grab the hook and pull forward.
For the frame rail, I'd break out the Bondo, some black paint and send it...😜
I really love watching you fix frame damage. I hate when you time lapse the frame work. I'm into learning how you do the pulls
I know someone with a 2014 F150 that doesn't even have 68K miles yet. The detailed video are always awesome mate! Looking forward to the next video. Keep Orange Crushing It!
i would put one tower in front of the frame rail keeping tension forward, and pull that bend with the other tower
I think your doing great you have been doing stuff like this for a long time you know what your doing.
Bro, I know I say this often but you’re talent and skill freaking amazes me! Mad respect! 👊
Agreed Yuri. The trained eye is priceless. No need for a billion dollar machine, just pure skill. 🤛🏻
Hey I like watching you doing this stuff! No idea why. I’d never want to do it myself or even own it after but your videos are great. Put it in to 3 parts and we’d still all watch it. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yuri is a good person he is a awesome UA-camr ever
New subscriber here... coming from v-tune channel
Very nice.URI your talent just keeps coming thru over and over.just keep on doing what you do best.great video 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Just leaving a comment to help your analytics. Your work is entertaining. I would weld a chuck of steel to the crease in the frame, connect the chain to the chunk of steel, and pull out the dent. Then I would straighten where it is too concave.
Hey Yuri I'm an auto damage appraiser and these trucks get totaled quite a bit when the frame is damaged in that area (as this one probably was) because they are very difficult to repair and pull back into spec, really looking forward to watching you fix this one.
After replacing the front apron on my 22 Gmc. I would highly recommend a Hor./Vert. laser with an adjustable stand. Being able to split the vehicle and mirror dimensions is nice. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! 👍
Put a large hook on the outside of the frame rail and pull out towards the outside that should bring out that bend.
as always great stuff thanks.
Good To See You Working With you're Dad !! ........Great Vlog Dear Sir !! .......Bless You All ...........Peace
love this content thanks Yuri
The problem with videos that jump thru the repair, edit out the boring repetition give new to car repair the wrong info. They think a 15 to 20 hour job look like 2 to 3 hour job. It's misleading. I'm a retired mechanic and am still learning something new all the time. Keep the content coming.
Great VLOG!!
This is why i joined the channel
you are a friggin magician love ya vids Juri
Love the video so funny sir and useful at the same time.
Thank you.
Good job bro ham. 👍🏻
Nice job man
Man that lot
Is clean
Some sorta ninja stick and demon head. LOL. Great video as always Yuri.
rule of thumb pull the skirt out in reverse of the direction it was pushed in. the chassis i would not cut it but i would try to weld a bolt with a one and a half inch hex head over the hole and then you can use the thread make a plate to bolt to it to pull with the dozer hit the kinked up area down use heat if you have to but try without first if it pulls the bent area out grind the bolt off the chassis then paint black the thread would be strong enough to pull from because a inch and a half hex would mean the thread would be at least 3/4 of an inch in theory you can use a bolt like a spot weld pin pull the low grind off then weld in the next low pull then grind off yuri throw a folded blanket over your chain when pulling it dampens the chain and hook when it dislodges cheers from down under
tnx for the video
you the man!
Thanks!
Enjoy your videos. You’ll make it like new again
Your vids rock !
You are the man enjoy your videos do it your way unless someone has a better and eaiser way.
its an odd looking motor, all chunky and hunky but with the naffest of wheels
great job Yuri, i think i'd consult the cat to pull that there chassis straight, my guess is you might weld one of your hooks to it and pull, and perhaps weld another piece over the top, but then that tells examiners to look more close, probably a bad thing, as i often find this, and between the two metals will often rust out creating further problems down the road
I noticed he put a glove on after getting bitten 😂
Slide short leg of 2 L shaped steel rods into hole and weld the two longer legs facing out together then pull. Cut and remove when done
Great content, can you slide the expanding tool into the framerail and push it out.
Nice job as usual, that hole is in the right spot for the right sized hook, apron looks finicky thats gonna need a couple different angles
If you were wearing those safety sliders and socks on your hands that wouldn’t have happened 🤣🤣 you’re a clever boy Yuri I love these type of vids make um longer dude …nice job 👍
4 sticks of TNT
I wonder if you could use a three pin Lewis bolt in that frame hole, and attach the chain to that to pull. A good bit of heat to make it malleable should aid the pull.
21:44 if the seam sealer covers where the panels go together pull it until it looks right then remove the now sort straight panel/s/pieces parts and replace with new to make it better than factory...is my guess...
Don't complain pal. For some reason the wages are actually pretty good even though the work is hard sometimes.
Haha
You are the best. You need to move to Florida for good and tell your Dad you need shop in the sunshine state.
Weld a nut to that hole and put a big bolt through. That will push the concaved part of the rail out.
How would I have it fixed ?
I would take it to you for your eye ball adjustment LOL fixed right the Catillac way.
Shorter indepth videos keep the attention of the viewer, me 😊
(1)a bolt in the hole with a ... a threaded hole in a ... s m all ...bar on it and a couple nuts and push out from inside= the back of the frame while applying heat after tacking the bar to the frame then crank it(family force 5 chainsaw) with your impact until it makes the fame come out where you want it...or (2)heat and a slide hammer with several hooks/hook points tacked to the frame where the dent is? sort of like painless dent repair on sheet metal...
Because you didn't use heat it keeps the metal with the same strength. So you don't have to replace those suspension mounting points
To the untrained eye it looks bad BUT to the trained eye, it looks bad too. 😂😂😂
I’d repair it by……having big Mike come help me bring it to you 🤣
Plug the other holes in the frame and blow in the dent hole real hard? ;) Weld a plate to the center of the dent, and brace on the good areas, then pull outward, while hammering down on the 'dimple'? Front, would hook to lowest spot and pull forward then adjust to where needed.
From the hole you put it in pull and hammer
G'day guys how's it going
I know zero about frame work, but I can fix your CAT, Your forklift, your truck and any other heavy equipment you have ! Great video, try not to hit your hand, it stings, ask me how I know !
Custom is below an LT. Its above a work truck package. Its what they make alot of Trail bosses out of to make a sale. Single zone AC and heat. Lower end radio. Hey for a 2019 its a good beater. Fix it and sell it fast. Stay safe and be well. God bless
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
🔥
Frame rail: weld a plate at the pull site. Heat it up real hot. Slowly pull it back into position.
For what i have seen you do all the time, weld on it and pull
More of this stuff
First thing, I would be wondering where is big Mike? It’s a perfect opportunity for him to understand frame pulling 101, lol
14:45 mosquito speed...
Star Trek - S03 E11 - Wink Of An Eye
Don’t ask me I started pulling frames between 2 telephone poles with a come along 😂in the lane way of my house back in the day 😂😂
Hey it worked and I was 17 years old at the time 🤷🏼♂️😂
make that money man !!!!!
I know interactions are importants 🎉
I wouldn't be repairing it Yuri I would be writing a check to you.
In Australia that would probably be classified as a statutory write off never to be registered again parts only
I wood like to have to dive and do my work
👍
What's the status of the G Wagon and the Jeep?
how would i fix it ??...i'd send it to you !!!
WAS THAT OSHA APROVER SOXXS AND SANDALS ?
Tuck an airbag into the frame through the hole? Always pull in the opposite direction from where it got hit, you always say that!
I’d just bring it to you to fix Yuri lol.
so, saying you shouldn't pull a frame with a forklift like Cleetus?
Just fill that dent with some Bondo, good to go 😂
🔰👍
I prefer to watch you do it LOL
Will You weld a plate and pull from the side ? ❤I mean frame.
Personal Safety Equipment works like this, when you use it then you actually have no situations, but the day u dnt use it then u are bound to have an injury,go figure😅
Love your work mate you are a pro and I’d have you repair my car any day , do you have a postal address?
No cat 🤷♂️
Ask one of your brothers
I'm not a frame guy but I would probably put something in the hole and give it a tug
Cut it open ,flatten it out ,weld it back in ????
