I have only recently discovered the awesomeness that is Bioshock so this was a lot of fun to make. I started filming this after playing the first two games for the first time before Bioshock Infinite comes out, I'd never played a Bioshock before so I wanted to see what it's like, I'm not disappointed. Hope you guys like the video and thanks for watching.
That last egg with the unstable teleport plasmid may also be a slight nod to the beginning of Half-Life 2 where Lamarr messes up your teleporting process and you are teleported to random locations (including the office of the main antagonist) until it dumps you outside of where you were so you can continue the story.
The plane is an Easter egg, just cause it was there after a lot of years doesn't mean it won't still be there, just like the Titanic, that happened a way long time ago.
Good job mate!!!! but did u discover the secret chamber from Bioshock? In fact did everyone else knew about it? I guess I'll make a video about it. Again good job!
Thanks, and yes I know there are some still missing. When I record, I make sure I know very Easter Egg in the game, If there's one I don't think is worth recording, I just don't put them in.
because in bioshock 2 you learn that in 1958 is when big daddies where created. the Delta Series, then Bouncer, Rosie. the Delta's where found out to be killed very quickly, so they decided to end the delta series program. then they made The Elite Bouncers and Elite Rosies, to up the protection. Elite Bouncers and Rosies can only be found in areas in the game that are dangerous. like Fort Frolic and Apollo Square in the first game. those places were highly dangerous, for regular daddies to be in
You forgot one very neat one - if you leave Sander Cohen alive you can find him at the end of the first game in his apartment. Takes some digging to find though.
let me help you. in the first game it takes place in 1960, but in the second it STARTS off in 1958, them Lamb forces delta to shoot himself and he wake up ten years later in 1968. you can also hear splicers talking about Jack, when you get the Telekinesis Plasmid. before you kill the 3 splicers they tell a story about how Jack Saved all the little sisters and is now living with them as he daughters on the surface. it a little weird, but the Games cross paths sort of. i am running out of space.
I think that exactly this "Schrödinger's Cat" might be a peak to what they were working on while creating Bioshock Infinite. Or maybe perhaps that's what inspired them.
hey guru i watch a lot of your videos and i think you do a really good job just one thing that would make them perfect is if you gave the comments instead of just writing them.
You should've shown the map of the final resting place of the unstable plasmid - it shows you many levels below Rapture, some kind of basement or something.
schrodinger's cat is somewhat with multiverses though, so he isn't technically all wrong. the split of the cat dying or the cat not dying is the same as Booker not accepting or accepting the baptism. In one universe, the cat lives/booker doesn't accept baptism, in another univers the cat dies/booker accepts baptism. See? very similar :)
PLAY SYSTEM SHOCK 2!! (available on GOG) It was the first game Irrational EVER made and it's by far the best with much more in-depth RPG elements. It's my favorite game of all time and there's a large modding community.
you forgot the code number to the funeral room when u first reach medical pavillon is 0451, a looking glass studio adress, it also a reverse version of it in bioshock when u first reach adonis suit :>
Actually 451 seems to be an easter egg across many MANY games. Its in all bioshock games, Deus Ex games and i cant actually list more lol. The only thing all the games with this code have in common is one developer. Or perhaps, a greater conspiracy?
Tha Botmon He means the scene with the teleporter in Kleiner's lab. It is unstable because of Lamarr the headcrab and do the same as this plamid bottle. I think it was a reference too.
Not to be rude, but it is a reference to a thought process called Schrodinger's cat. I think. And Bioshock Infinite wasn't out while Bioshock was released.
I found the cat and the plasmid by myself but I didn't know the cat was an easter egg but I figured the plasmid was (I was hopping that I would gain the ability though...)
How could the plane in Bioshock 2 be the one from the original Bioshock? Bioshock 2 takes place well before the original, right? When big daddies were being manufactured frequently?
No not really... You only see bioshock 2 take place 2 years before the original one in the opening cutscene where Delta has to shoot himself... HE then wakes up 10 years later. That's how the plane from the original bioshock is in bioshock 2
2:39 wrong. the teleport plasmid got taken out not because it didn't work the plasmid was fine it got taken out cause it would ruin scripted events in bioshock
plus.... why would you need a teleporting plasmid anyways? not like it'd be helpful in combat, probably just disorient the average player and get em killed in combat and... in bioshock 1 - 2 alot of your battles took place in very narrow like areas. i can only recall of like 4 areas in total, 2 in the first and 2 in the second that you'd be able to port around without popping out face first into a wall or object. and if the plasmid was to teleport you to a certain spot like Place down before combat and activate during... well... really? im pretty sure no ones that lazy to just... shock your target and run for cover. I mean... works vs Big daddies. but that's just me lol. i see little use for the Plasmid besides just being a fun "toy" but not really helpful.

It is an Easter egg because it's a hard to fine and unreachable b from the first game and c it's the same plane
best game ever
3:57 hahahaha just hilarious.
Good job mate!!!! but did u discover the secret chamber from Bioshock? In fact did everyone else knew about it? I guess I'll make a video about it. Again good job!

Dude my dad never knew this,we're playing through the whole game again doing every single easter egg. That's so cool!
I always liked your channel but now since your doing Bioshock im gonnalove it even more .Great Job guru!
Really miss your old glitching style videos...but I respect your change in style
One of my favourite UA-camrs
You truly are the "guru." I absolutely love your videos man.
Thanks I bought Bioshock about a month ago after playing the demo & there was a special off all Bioshock games so I got it I'm nearing the end!
Same here, got all three for £9.99 and just finished Bioshock 1 now
Im still playing Im at 5he part where you protect the little sister while a big daddy.
You are so so so close to the end
Here's to a new BioShock in the near future, I hope they do it as good as they did BioShock 2.
Love it when I see a video from you pop up in my inbox!
This is one of the best games you can find.
Bioshock will always be my favourite game
I'm going to replay this game this month (:
I could never really get into this game, but as always, I enjoyed watching :)
I love the splicer that gets chased by the Plasmid XD
i remember reading GLaDOS making a reference to this experiment in the portal comic Lab Rat.

guru you dont really have to say "well known arcade game, pacman." we dont live under a rock lol
Awesome video as usual, keep it up!

nice series bro keep it up
Great! I like to watch your easter eggs movies!
I think that exactly this "Schrödinger's Cat" might be a peak to what they were working on while creating Bioshock Infinite. Or maybe perhaps that's what inspired them.
Fun fact: the teleporter plasmid model was use in bioshock infinite as a vigor for health, shield, and a salts upgrade
i remembered schrodinger cat from the episode of The Big bang theory when Sheldon talks about it xD
I love bioshock 1 & 2 played it so many times
hey guru i watch a lot of your videos and i think you do a really good job just one thing that would make them perfect is if you gave the comments instead of just writing them.
I love 3:50

lil sises doll in in bioshok 1 is big sis in bioshok 2
i love that unstable teleport plasmid easter egg
AWESOME channel subbed
great vid! keep it up!
Bioshock 1 was awesome, too bad 2 sucked.
Hope Infinite is going be like the first one.
Great video Guru!
It takes place after Bioshock 1, but it has a prologue that happens before Bioshock 1.
actually bioshock 2 takes place 4 years after bioschock 1 so the plane at the beginning of bioshock 2 was not the same, nice catch though.
The unstable teleport plasmid just floating around like that is a bit creepy.
Also, the teleportation plasmid is used in the book. Cohen and another guy use it.
houdini splicers
PLAY SYSTEM SHOCK 2!! (available on GOG) It was the first game Irrational EVER made and it's by far the best with much more in-depth RPG elements. It's my favorite game of all time and there's a large modding community.
A splicer being chased by the unstable plasmid, you don't see that in rapture everyday
You obliviously haven't played Bioshock 1 or you'd realize you have to gather the parts for your character to become a Big Daddy!
you forgot the code number to the funeral room when u first reach medical pavillon is 0451, a looking glass studio adress, it also a reverse version of it in bioshock when u first reach adonis suit :>
+john d why?
+john d it still easter with me, but you got ur point, i can't agrue
+john d but that one is most noticeable
+john d So what? With the others and you, it's not important. But with me, a fan Bioshock series, it's a easter egg. Ok?
Actually 451 seems to be an easter egg across many MANY games. Its in all bioshock games, Deus Ex games and i cant actually list more lol.
The only thing all the games with this code have in common is one developer. Or perhaps, a greater conspiracy?
Great games, the both of them.
so pumped for infinite
The game's ending was an easter egg
The teleport easter egg is like half life 2
Tha Botmon He means the scene with the teleporter in Kleiner's lab. It is unstable because of Lamarr the headcrab and do the same as this plamid bottle. I think it was a reference too.
the cat is a reference to the various multi dimensions that you can skip through in bioshock infinite
Sander Cohen lives on!
Still great :D
you are the best guru:)
THE PAC-MAN EGG
GURU u r the best i just wanted to ask you for a bioshock easter egg episode and than i saw this :D
But there
Still missing
Some
do you research these things or do you find them yourself?
Not to be rude, but it is a reference to a thought process called Schrodinger's cat. I think. And Bioshock Infinite wasn't out while Bioshock was released.
I have played through bio shock 1 should I get bio shock 2 or wait for infinite?
I found the cat and the plasmid by myself but I didn't know the cat was an easter egg but I figured the plasmid was (I was hopping that I would gain the ability though...)
thouse frozen peapple in the back round before you picted it up there were wepping angels
Aw crap in Bioshock 2 I found that potion but only interacted with it twice, then I was like "screw this!"
awesomeness!
I'm playing Bioshock 1 again. I've played B2 twice and I'm starting to think B1 is better. Anyone feels like me?
2:10 "bruh look at my fuckin cat yo wtf"
in bioshock 1 in the theater the man playing the piano u can hear the song bird in the backround in 3
In bioshock 2 there are a few pictures with the first protagonist
I don't remember seeing it, but where is the location at 3:54 at and what does that code go to?
have you tried the multiplayer on bio 2 ?
ur right i never thought about that lol
i found all of these by accident and didn't know they where Easter eggs
you forgot the secret waller in bio2 MP
Such a good game x)
What do you use to record?
you killed pacman!
I Like the last one
Can you do a crysis 3 one?
3:50 AH!! WHO ARE YOU?
yeah he did after mw3 came out
How could the plane in Bioshock 2 be the one from the original Bioshock? Bioshock 2 takes place well before the original, right? When big daddies were being manufactured frequently?
No not really... You only see bioshock 2 take place 2 years before the original one in the opening cutscene where Delta has to shoot himself... HE then wakes up 10 years later. That's how the plane from the original bioshock is in bioshock 2
the pacman easter egg is also in skyrim!!! !!
I love 1 & 2 but infinite takes the cake!
Question. Is it just a coincidence that this game looks similar to dishonered?
You're not the same guy. And he has.
How in the flying math do you think he got the footage from Bioshock 1?
i wish i kept using that unstable plasmid :( i used it 5 times then thought it was pointless..
you probably bought both in the bundle steam sale
Man I spent way to much time playing this game
I have seen it in Infinite and is totally different
The pac-man easter egg is also in skyrim
he did
That is 1 good looking cheesecake look at it not old, moldy, rotten it is good to eat *vomits*
You should have called it Bioshock 2 Easter Eggs. Because there was only one actual easter egg from Bioshock.
bioshock 1 was in 1960 and 2 was in 1968
your thinking of vita-chambers
i think the schrödingers cat easter egg means that rapture can be real untill its proven.. xD after all thats what the whole theory is about ^^
He's not an idiot for not knowing something you do. Jesus, people are so numb to what they're saying.
Yea and the big daddy's name is Johnny Topside
2:39 wrong. the teleport plasmid got taken out not because it didn't work the plasmid was fine it got taken out cause it would ruin scripted events in bioshock

Flora they use the houdini plasmid in bioshock 2 multiplayer so it wasnt taken out
jake rice im talking about the teleportation plasmid not the invisibility plasmid
oh that would be pretty hard to make a teleport plasmid
It wasn't put in because of it teleporting you out of rapture, and your reason.
Didn't fallout 3 do that same pac-man Easter egg?
so thay planed bioshock infinite is the past?
