Its time the tennis authorities get a grip with the demand put on these players, a schedule not equalled in any other sport
True, and the idea of going to 5 set matches in the slams is ridiculous. (for women) Professional tennis at this level takes a tremendous toll on the body. There are a lot of the top players who are never able to stay healthy. Andreescu is a perfect example. She wins the US Open, but pretty much disappears because she is always injured. My favorite, Kondaveit who got to #2 in the world, is no longer playing on the tour because of serious back issues. You could make a very long list of all of the players who have had to deal with injuries constantly.
I think players need to plan their schedule sensibly to avoid these injuries. I'll miss Osaka as I've enjoyed watching her comeback journey.
shes playing in indian wells!
There plenty of players left to satisfy me!
Sabalenka, Navarro, etc…
Yea I don't know why you're showing an OLD pic of Osaka crying. She was in good spirits, smiling, and laughing in Doha; she accomplished her mission of winning a few matches and getting back into the groove of things.
Don't flatter yourself. Her mission was never to win a few matches, instead, it was all about "The Baby"
I've been following the tours for decades now. So many injuries. It's a wonder how the tours justify all these high point events but don't supply the big guns. I've said it before it's the changes in equipment rackets strings balls. Martina was rarely injured. She and Graf amassed impressive numbers bc they played a lot
Hope Rybakina doesn’t go into Indian wells fatigued or injured due to playing currently/a week ago and now a compulsory tournament less than a week away! Seems a massive disadvantage going into a tournament having to defending points
Yeah she have to defend points on both sunshine tournament
She has to makeup some backup points in doha/dubai bcz repeating last year in sunshine is tough...
@@rafmechshe could drop out of Dubai if she wins Doha. What is most concerning is that the clay season starts after Miami with FO in May.
I have a feeling one of the reasons she’s participated in pretty much all of the first year tournaments is to gain as many points as she can incase she’s not able to back up the wins specially after the Australia also! Whereas Roland Garros onwards she’s as free as anything to play her game because she doesn’t have hardly any to defend!
@@thomaswelch2026 yes...Indian wells, Miami, Rome - 2800 points to defend...she can makeup by winning Wimbledon😊
Congratulations Cam for your excellent analysis 👍👍👏👏👋💙🇬🇷
Raducanu was going to play but realised that there was no solar eclipse due so would have to play in "daylight" which is why she got bagelled in Qatar according to her interview
Go elsewhere with your negative shxx
😂😂 I saw that interview and thought what is she talking about. Her first game in daylight lol 😂 okay Emma. Excuses Excuses...
If you watch the Interview properly instead of having your head xx xxxx xxxx she tells you the truth and no excuses were offered.
@@philip697A tennis player blaming daylight is one of the most ridiculous excuses of all and even more so given that Raducanu had lost the previous Wednesday in Abu Dhabi so had 5 days until the next match. But instead of acclimatising to the rare phenomenon of "daylight" in Qatar she was partying in Dubai less than 2 days before her match. This is a player not even remotely serious or professional. To boot her only coach is a tame LTA coach from her childhood.
It would appear that she isn't really serious about putting in the hard yards to climb up the rankings. One excuse after another.
Why do you use almost exclusively rather unflattering photos of players in your videos? 😂
How about Pliskova, today walkover in semis against Iga?
Ons should just take time off to rest and work with her doctors to get as close to 100% as she can. Her performances have not been good.
I won't miss any. I'm a Sabalenka fan.
Not really sure why you often use totally unrelated photos of players in tears for your thumbnails for these videos. Especially this thumbnail of Naomi. Isn't this photo from that match at Indian Wells where she was heckled? Whether you think her crying over it was justified or not, she was obviously going through a difficult time mental health-wise when this happened and I don't think making thumbnails out of it to announce a withdrawal from a tournament makes sense. Not sure if it's supposed to be clickbaity or funny, but I don't think it's super appropriate.
It's clickbate
I agree.
Just... grow up.
You seem more offended by this pic than Osaka is herself. If Osaka isn't offende dby pictures such as these, then you shouldn't too
Are you f** ing serious right now? Why are you so offended for something absolutely insignificant? "Woke" comment of the year so far. Lmao
@@malekat8539lmao have you personally asked her that she doesn’t care?
Rybakina is going to play? She is could be injury because she Played Abu Dhabi with only one Day of rest, and Doha All the days. I think if she play Dubai she could be fatiged of All lot of marches.
Sorry my english is so bad😢
yes hope Rybakina doesnt play Dubai because she needs to defend her points on IW, Rome and Miami.
You don’t understand how injuries work.
Collins 😢
Geez so much whining about stock photos. I personally think it’s clever and adds a bit of spice. The withdrawals portion is kinda funny with everyone looking sullen because they had to withdraw, except for Krejcikova, who got a flattering fiery photo.
What would be even funnier if these were in fact the first photos he saw, though they’re too good to be a coincidence.
Is Sabalenka playing?? why isn't she playing Qatar though
She’s playing in Dubai - Didn’t play in Qatar because she wanted to rest more after AO
@@thecookie0079 sounds reasonable,, thanks 😎
Too bad Raducanu will not be competing...she will be missed by her fans
Why do you put the picture of Naomi crying. Its just not ok! Nit ok at all
agree
Osaka is at it again When she wins more than 2 matches in a tournament ,she withdraws from the next tournament.
shes playing in indian wells… she’s tired after playing such tiring matches. lol.
Kostyuk wd against another Russian player.
Naimi
Kimchi
