I just saw it today at a liquor store and it also reminded me of lost lake. made the right choice by not picking any up, but i do want to try the light version just for fun!
Dang, its been 8 years since I reviewed Lost Lake, I never reviewed the Light version or The Amber Version, I need to resist the regular one sometime. Yeah, they could be made by the same Brewery, I cant remember for sure though, if I remember correctly, Lost Lake was much better than Boxer, you did make the right choice not wasting your money on Boxer, Thanks for the comment man, have a great Wednesday
Yeah, I don't see it very often. Yes sir, as far as I know, Hamm's is still being made, it wasn't to long ago that I got some, Thanks for the comment Jim, have a great Saturday
I heard this Beer got its name because they filter it through dirty Boxers, but it still can't be as bad as Mountain Crest. The Minhas family is a India Canadian family; they purchased the Monroe Brewing Company and apparently it was their goal to make some of the worst Gutwash Beers that were humanly possible when they took over. They actually had the nerve to put out a 24 pack of beers called the Advent Calendar sold at Sam's Club around the Holidays. I can only Imagine the horror. It should have been called the Nightmare before Christmas.🤣
Lol, THAT'S NASTY JIMBOB. They do sadly make some of the most nastiest beers. You haven't had this Advent Calendar beer yet Jimbob ? I myself don't jump to conclusions till Ive actually tried it, but their history of beers makes it sound like the chances its drinkable is pretty low, how does a Brewery survive without a winner to keep it a float? Lol, if it as bad as we think it might be, then" Nightmare Before Christmas" would be a good slogan title, Thanks for the comment Jimbob, and info, have a great Wednesday
@@JerryForttheBeerReviewGuy No I haven't tried the Advent Calendar, I don't know if I want to commit to that just yet, I mean after all it is 24 cans. I normally don't like to judge anything without trying it, but after Mountain Crest, let's just say I lost all faith. My buddy said the same thing years ago when I told him Stroh's beer is spelled shorts backwards.🤣
@@jimbob-sc9jn Yeah, buying a 24-pack without knowing if you're going to like it, and looking at the History would be pretty risky. I actually like Stroh's, but the Shorts thing was pretty funny
I reviewed the Boxer Ice earlier this year, and I really enjoyed it. I haven't seen the original lager yet, but judging by your reaction it isn't good lol. Great Review, Cheers!
Oh really, You liked the Boxer Ice? Hmm, well, if the Boxer Ice is good in your opinion, maybe I would think its alright, I'll keep an eye open for it. Who knows, you may really enjoy the regular as well. Thanks for the comment , and compliment Jordan, have a great Labor Day, Cheers!
I've never seen this sorry beer, in Louisiana, but I bought it on a Wisconsin road trip. I disliked it, so much, that I dumped out two cans. Have a great weekend, too!
It probably got tard and feathered and ran out of town. Yes sir, not much of a big quality beer, but I'm sure someone out there really likes it. Thanks for the comment, and I shall try my best.
I used to get 36 packs of that for like 12 bucks about 10 years ago. It really isn't too bad if you slam down the first 2, I wouldn't recommend it for taste but it gets the job done..🤮
Dang, it went up in price tremendously. It may not be too bad, maybe it is because I'm spoiled or something, Lol. I can see slamming down 2 quickly, and then the third not tasting so bad. It will definitely get the job done, Thanks for the comment, Mad Groundhog, Have a great weekend
That stuff is straight up bum piss I also dumped out the cans I didn't finish I gave it to my neighbor and he dumped out the rest and recycled the cans
Lol, that’s funny, I still have some, I hate to waste beer, but OMG, it’s soooo un drinkable man, I made a few vids of me mixing it with other beers to make it so I could at Least drink it ,Thanks for the comment and laugh Scott, have a great weekend
Lol, it definitely doesn't taste good, but I'm sure someone somewhere likes it for its taste, and not just because it will at least trashed, Thanks for the comment Dusty, Have a great weekend man
