Modelo is my favorite standard beer, easy to drink and can be enjoyed at anytime. BUT I would suggest Bohemia for your next Mexican beer, that’s been my favorite Mexican beer.

I would have never guessed that Modelo Especial moved up the ranks and is now the #1 beer in the USA. I enjoy Modelo Especial on occasion, I like the Negra Modelo better. Lawrenceville, Georgia here.

As a mexican I can tell you that you can only add lime (or make a chelada/michelada) to beer that you buy with the intent to get drunk rather than to enjoy its flavour. Like Corona beer, in order to make it drinkable.
Actually, ALL of Modelo's beers are very good for the price. Certainly not as good as a craft beer, but damn good for the price.
I’m in Wales in the UK, I’ve not tried Modelo before but we get it in the discount stores over here for about £5, I’ll pick up a 6 pack and give it a go, cheers🍻

I just had a Modelo Especial. While it’s far from craft beer flavorful, it has more taste than Corona. At this stage I’d say I prefer it to Corona.

Stomach issues have unfortunately driven me away from IPAs (and there are a few amazing ones here in my home state of Vermont!), so I've turned to lagers. I really enjoy Modelo Especial and my personal rating would be 4.0 out of 5. Loving your content from lovely Chester, Vermont! Ps., totally agree with you about fruit in beer - no way! 😁

I’ve been drinking a lot of Modelo recently, but I’m trying to get my hands on a Negra which the general consensus tends to tell me is tastier.
It's all over out here in Omaha. Grocery stores, gas stations, everywhere. And yes, I think it's better than the Especial.
Watching from the Netherlands, not seen the Modelo beer yet here, but I will keep an eye out for it!
You should try canned version it holds the flavor better and no risk of skunkyness

modelo is my favorite for lunch , modelo negra for seafood and modelo especial for meat, you should try cerveza Indio for a different coffee like taste, and just avoid cerveza Sol, that one sucks greatly
Rating is spot on. A good mexican beer but I think Dos Equis is better.
Dos Equis is far worse. Modelo is top Mexican beer followed by Pacifico and then Corona.
I'm only a social event drinker but Modelo is my favorite
I respect this guys reviews. For me you have to have modelo out of a can as the bottles get skunked. Also there are a lot of ways to make tacos so I don’t think that’s a valid analogy. I still like the review.
Hey beer snob if you run out of cheap beers to review maybe you could consider the next logical step, cheap wine. Ive recently taken to Franzia box wine. I am not a wine drinker, but i got tired of beer and with wine i dont have to drink 7 gallons to catch a reasonable buzz.. Love your videos, they are super comfy! :DDD
I found these in a lidl in the uk ($6.30 for 4) this afternoon and tried one icy coled with the comlementary slice of lime and it was lovely...
Try Coors Banquet in its long time stubby bottle....ice cold. It's so much better then the can. Cheers!
Athens TN. I think I have watched at least 90% of you reviews and oddly enough agree with most of them. Might I recommend sweetwater brewing for a future review.

Understand that alot of us cut the cord and look to you guys for entertainment, i go all the way back when you had the drunk cat, hilarious, rest in peace feline. Im outta Jersey too, northern part (worst part) and i try some of the brews you sample so once again...a video a week and cameos of cats, dogs drinking (smiles).

Forget bud light beer. Estrella Jalisco Beer is another good Mexican beer. Models beer are great beers “Nice”.

I can take or leave a Modelo, I'm sure not buying it. They charge you like it's some high end luxury beer. It's Yuengling when I'm home. Now working in California { no Yuengling here} so it's Coors banquet for now. I'm just west of you in Canton. Always enjoy your stuff.
Those Coors Banquet stubby bottles are my go to, domestic brews. Not bad at all. Pretty good and they're not to high priced.
