I liked the Archie Sonic explanation that the water wasn't falling to the center of the earth because Chaos (Sonic Adventure 1 Chaos btw) jumped off of Angel Island and used his powers to make sure that the Earth still had oceans going. Very cool of him honestly

Interesting that you mention Sonic's nicknaming conventions, because one thing I wish happened in the movies is that he gave Tails and Knuckles their nicknames, because he already did that for Donut Lord, Pretzel Lady, and Eggman. Heck, for all we know, Longclaw's also a nickname.
Chip is ascending everytime one of the VODs and stream highlights of this series come out, and I fear for my life! (I could imagine Chip finding mouldy cheese in one of the old Gaia temples and giving it to Sonic to try and eat and then him going "Oh, f*ck EW!")

This playthrough is the funniest one i've seen in a long time. I've been laughing out loud through both episodes so far, Penny and Mar's comedy combo is just unbeatable!
Voicing the characters of the game your playing is something I do all the time. When I started my persona 5 royal play through I started a joke we’re whenever anything remotely negative happens everyone would start yelling at Ryuji, even if he had no evolvement in it.

@@TheEepyMagi Zero Escape! This song appears in the first game Zero Escape: 999 (and the second game, I can't remember if it's also in the third).
It's a common thing in the first game where a character will basically infodump a wild concept (often quantum physics related) to the main character for seemingly no reason, and that song ALWAYS plays when it's happening.
Highly recommend checking it out if you like visual novels, mysteries, and don't mind a lot of descriptions of gore (that's mainly 999, the others have some too but not quite on 999's level).

@@spinosaurus2001 The bit mainly happens in the first game 999 where when this song plays, a character basically infodumps about something usually quantum mechanics related or history related to the player character! When Mar streamed this series it was always a chat fave when it would pop up. It's also the origin of Mar's BTTV emote UchikoshiMoment if you're familiar with his streams lol
I hope this story also includes *Chip* Zanuff from Guilty Gear.
Honestly, while Chip Zanuff would probably be a more likable companion, I'm not sure he'd be any smarter
