I can say as a nurse who graduated in 2018, I still do the same thing and feel a lil anxious before day shifts. Regularly get 4.5hrs of sleep and then bam off for a busy, rewarding, always interesting 12hr day 🤗😋💗 I know a few other nurses who are like this too, others do get into a routine of going to bed early, so hopefully maybe one day lol ❤😋🤗 I sleep in before my night shifts, but can’t nap through the day, helps me to sleep at least 4hrs after my night though so that is helpful for recovery 🤗💗
Yeah same. I have clinicals starting mid October and I'm TERRIFIED. and it's like even if you try to have a good sleep schedule and go to bed early, you lay there for hours awake because you're scared/nervous
@@itscarolinedammit754 I have horrible sleep issues myself.. the doctors think it might be sleep apnea which could be bothering my grand mal seizures... anyway I've found a few cool things online to try and help such as red light! It helps me fall asleep a little faster along with music or relaxing sounds of your choice! I use chill relaxing music that I know won't wake me up nothin that gets too loud! Sometimes I use candles like lavender but there's lots of other scents also! Just make sure to put it out before you pass out! lol good luck to you both! :)
Shortest Clinical day I ever had was 8 hours but that was bc the mental hospital was an hours drive away and they didn’t want us to have to deal with traffic 😅
5-5:30 am days are common for me, as my current job is at a lumber yard that typically operates 11 hours a day (not there that long each day but most days are like that).
im the same way when ik i have to be up early or have a doctors appointment its like i get so nervouse that im not gonna get enough sleep that i dont end up sleeping that much
My sister will soon starts nursing school or has already started i don't know 😂😂 she left home like a week ago, im just imagining she's goin' through all this over there.
And when u do an afternoon nap, you cant sleep early at night. You will have the same problem in the morning. I can relate. I always keep in the same cyclus. Bad sleep, early out bed, to tired, taking an afternoonnap, problem sleeping in at night.
In the first second of the video she turned the light on. She kinda has to get up first to record her getting up but doesn’t mean she didn’t set up her phone the lay there for a few minutes if not potentially fell back to sleep for a few.
newborns are truly the most precious things in the world 💕💕💕

I cried when I worked with babies in a daycare because of how precious and innocent they were.. totally understand 🥰
good morning jaycee!! love to see you being opened to content now !
I can relate I get up at 5am for work even though I’m not training to be a nurse
I have always wanted to be a pediatric nurse and you just helped me realize I can be one as long as I put myself to work
I love how you said "it was only 6 hours" I could not make it through that
You can't make it through a 6 hour shift 💀💀. That's a below average shift length lol.
aw i love seeing ur nursing adventures! get more rest pls lol ur gonna be a great nurse

I’m 1.5 months out from graduation. Almost every clinical was like that.. 3-4 hours of sleep.. But you’ll make it! Keep it up!

My sister will soon starts nursing school or has already started i don't know 😂😂 she left home like a week ago, im just imagining she's goin' through all this over there.
Not going for nursing, but I’ve got sonography clinicals next semester and this is definitely how I’m going to be as well 💀
I love that color of greenish
The not being able to sleep the night before clinical must just be the standard because I never sleep well before clinical 😭

Post partum clinical day was my favorite. Swaddling all day was great. Worst: 1st day of med surg. I cried and got pinkeye. 🎉

Why do you sleep with the lights on?
Nurses truly are heroes.
You just woke up and didn't take a bath? And just went to work? 😅
Jesus loves you❤
It say “ But it’s actually realistic”
Yet she sleeps with the lights on and how are you filming it when u just woke up???
In the first second of the video she turned the light on. She kinda has to get up first to record her getting up but doesn’t mean she didn’t set up her phone the lay there for a few minutes if not potentially fell back to sleep for a few.
