Bob Daisley was the bass player for Gary Moore who got it for Dennis Wilson. Then it sold to Tommy in 2023. You got the story right. In addition, Bob got it from Gary Moore's wife after the guitar toured with Gary Moore.
That was just… something else. Tommy does know how to play the guitar. I’m sure you’ve noticed already but he’s using it again today. Along with Chris on the bass and singing with him. All this just makes a Friday even better. Thanks for playing this. Enjoy your reactions. 🙏🙏🙏
If I was Tommy I would think the marks and bruises was the best part of the guitar. Because they are from Garys usage. This was clearly not a guitar that ended up unused on a shelf. It has a history. If you want too see the guitar in Gary Moores hands, please check out the Wild Frontier video. 🎸
Got to show off your new toy. 🤘.This reminds me of another video I saw. Miyako from LOVEBITES, on her own channel, put out a video a couple weeks ago of her purchasing a Gibson Korina Flying V.
Tommy gonna be possesed with Garys spirit now, great! I think they maked the best guitars ever in US in 70-80 period. I luckily have two real treasures guitars from the 70-ties a Gibson Explorer 78 and Fender Strat from 73. They a worth so much more now then when I bought in the 80-ties. And Gary gave the guitar first to Bob Daisley a very famous bass player who have played with many great bands.
Not sure how much Gary played them....there were three gifted to him by PRS, a red, a white and a blue. The blue is in the Over the Hills and Far Away video, the red and white in the Wild Frontier video. I saw the red on some TV playback appearances but have never saw them used live on any concerts or live photos from that era. It's still a nice thing to have.... can't think of a better owner for it.
You can tell how proud he is to own Gary Moore's famous guitar. Good for him! I'd have loved for Tommy to play those guitar parts in the style of Gary Moore, but reimagining them like he did here was great too. Yeah, Wolfman, that's what you'll get for putting yourself out there on the Interwebs, people gonna dislike your videos. It even happened to me a couple times and I don't even create original content as you know. I wouldn't worry about it though, it's mostly attention seekers that do these things. I don't know about Rick, but I do like Bonnie right behind you there. Does that count too? ~Mike H.
_Travis_ - If you read this, know that we all, Tommy fans, love you for this! 🎸🙏

was so sweet how he owned that guitar now. its like the father tommy never had, passing down his last prized possession to his son

I could watch and listen to Tommy's guitar artistry all day and all night. Genius!!
Can you imagine how *excited* Tommy was when this arrived and he 1st held it?! It's kinda touching...his reverence for Gary Moore!
Yes!!!
You know I think Tommy was Over the hills and far away buying Garys guitar.
