I think the allies need more aircraft or copter and big bad aircraft, so the allied air superiority in corona version is more aggresive. Like the imperial of the rising sun's navy. Overall nice job.

I wish they add commander abilities like "Air superiority operation" That increased Allies aircraft move speed. With air raid sound playing including enemy player to balance purpose would be awesome.

Several months have passed, but it is very pleasant that you continue to work so painstakingly and carefully not only on the mod, but also on the demos! Alliance aircraft is impressive, however, to solidify expectations, I think it is worth releasing a few more videos with gameplay and developer comments so that future players can understand how to play this mod and feel it visually, if not physically. More to the god of gameplay. The bigger, the better!!! The only thing that is lacking so much (although it sounds a little unthinkable) is the commercials with live actors! As in the original C&C: this is one of the most important highlights for the games in this series. Pancake! If there were cutscenes in Mental Omega with at least live actors, at least some kind of anime-style animation, then this would raise that mod to a new level! Think about it. If not immediately, then maybe in the next update we introduce a campaign in the mod with all four fractions with clips that will accompany the player. Real or it will be animation, there will already be for your taste and possibilities. And if you release a mod this year, like Renegade X Firestorm, then you will fix this year as "The year of C&C, giving another new gift to the 25 year old community of Command & Conquer!.
it still doesn't make any sense, giving the visual representation, why interceptor can't win fighter tho. Considering that they have much higher firepower and faster speed. A mini-proto cannon can destroy a Kirov with several shots but can not disintegrate a twin-blade as fast as a machine gun?
@@w1serepeater972 it's game damage mechanic... bullet/gun damage is good against light armour, energies/explosive damage is good against heavy armour. also interceptor have lower fire rate compared to fighter.
In real life, fighters are intended for dogfights and countering other fast aircraft. Interceptors on the other hand are meant to engage slower-moving and larger targets, such as bombers and cargo planes.
Judging from the subtitles in Chinese, that battle happened before the Japanese fleet assult that old Chinese navy base. This battle happend when EoRS is still a vassal state of CE. The floating fortress is majorly controled by EoRS, and CE only have a small number of army on it. One comment on Bilibili left by the (potentially real) developer of that clip said this battle happens around Tokelau in our universe, so it is quite interesting why CE, EoRS and Allied (American) are fighting there, and how it led to the sudden betrayal of EoRS.

It seems that, because of a rather strong CE(aka china) in history, the Empire of Risising Sun became a vassal of CE. And the floating fortress seems owned by the Imperial Navy, with a small CE army, who oversees and help to defend the fortress. Also, the harbour of the Combined Fleet. Which does not clear whether it is just the Combined Fleet of Imperial Navy, or the Combined Fleet is combining both the IN and the Navy of the CE.

The Harbinger was OP in Uprising but it seems alright in this mod, but then the developers did mention you'll solve the balance issues by making everything OP anyways!

I'm curious to see how the Ares Interceptor's real model will look like, since right now it's using the Firehawk model from C&C4. Maybe it could be a futuristic looking Eurofighter Typhoon. Can't wait for the next video.
Dang, as if the gunship in Uprising isn't super powerful already, now they can turn 'ethereal'. Although, it seems judging from their numbers, they use space in the airfield too now? That will definitely balance it.
The Harbinger doesn't seem OP at all compared to the newer units showcased before, such as the new Shogun Battleship. Now THAT thing is a gamechanger in its own right.
The Ugly Barnacle the only ships I can think of that can counter the Shogun (this is pure Naval combat) would be the Akula Submarine, the big submarine that Celestial have that can fore torpedoes and missiles, the Allied carrier, and Sakura taiken torpedo.
@@Sanctuary-si1qt Subs I can agree with, but Allied carriers (I should call it a drone carrier since it has limited range.) are debatable, unless you include it's blackout missile then you're correct, but then again the shogun could just ram it before it could even fire it's missile. Sakura torpedoes can sink them, but you need 4-5 of them, and I don't know if this can be worth the cost or not, seeing that I don't know the cost of the new super battleship. IMO: The 2 Turreted Shogun battleship is more like a pocket battleship, rather than a battleship TBH.
I'm excited for the mod, but I hope that the devs are to improve the 3D models of the King Oni's to make them look similar to the cutscene rendition. I also hope that the devs blance out Japan's lack of an competitive air force. From what I've seen from their other accounts, the Japanese are lacking in fire power in the air department (though that has been generally been the case in vanilla) Without a proper bomber and interceptors, I feel the Japanese will struggle to be competitive. I also wish that they include new Mechs for the Japanese arsenal. Also in other news about the arsenal, when are we going to see the Olympus carrier in action?

Though in my opinion Flak was the best AA in game, at least vanilla. Hopefully they will give japan at least some upgrade for AA, considering how powerful aircrafts are now.
Rulet 550 I think it's best that Japan's AA be relied on a similar game design by the Remix mod which provides nano defense core to fire at enemy aircraft with guns instead of rockets. However, there's more balancing for them, the devs need to include new mecha interceptors and other mecha's while enhancing old mecha's with model and game adjustments. As of the moment, the devs current Japanese interceptor, the Sakura taiken rocket is unviable to be used as an interceptor as its rather gimmicky and useless as you can only use that interceptor once against an air target when other interceptors in the current mod can reload and be reused

Rulet 550 That's what I thought, As an Empire-main, I don't see any viable use for the Sakura rocket as your wasting funds for a gimmicky one time use weapon. The Allies, The Soviet, The Celestials all have interceptors that can be used over and over without having problems and are viable. With the current Japanese air and land roster that I've witnessed in their BiliBili account. Japan is still lacking the competitive edge against in those fields unless the devs continue development on them and include brand new mechs and air units/transform able units. I hope that the devs would create new interceptor mecha's that would replace the Sakura rocket

In Air to Air walling while letting the attackers and the bombers crushed all but the strongest AA Defense or formation Also with the Ares interceptor, Allies now have its own "Original Mig" with longer range and fancy missiles
They are currently using the model from CNC3 with small changes, and they said they will work on a new model for it later. The current version looks cool enough IMO though.
Actually its model is the fire hawk fighter from Command & Conquer 4(we chinese always call it The Turtle Arena because the game is suck),its new model is not finished yet.

Most factions are an alliance/union of multiple countries tho, especially the Allies and the Soviets. But I imagine the Celestials and the Empire are made of multiple countries as well, not just China and Japan. (In the Trailer, its implied that the Celestials are at least made of both Chinese and Mongols, while the Empire has the greater east asia co-prosperity sphere which includes most of southeast asia and even Hawaii as seen in the RA3 campaign).
Tbh, the Harbinger Gunship should have the Proton Collider cannons on both the port and starboard sides instead of just only the starboard. Much better off that way.
Oh hey the Centurians take aspects from the vertigo bombers from command and conquer 3, the AA MG I never/barely see them use. And the harbinger can use both guns, which is far better than the OG harbinger because that Gatling gun does turn infantry into flakes, the proton cannons do more than enough and ground units such as flak troopers wont be able to do much against a harbinger

Well, Allieds are already OP with their gunship, so it's not necessary to add their arsenal Btw, for my last attack force i always stand by with ton of gunship 😅
I do think that the Gunship is a tad bit OP if it can turn invulnerable for about 10 seconds, it can basically attack your backline flying above your defense wall and rain down death and destruction on to your base with impunity. Hope it is balanced with either a low hp or a massive cooldown to skill

Aw Yi Heng I hope they add new mechs as currently, I noticed that Japan is substantially weak in both air and land against the new units and refined old units. I hope they add new mecha's to match with the current land and air meta.
I think it's good that they removed it. Because it's OP and annoying. Plus, I can't help but feel frustrated when they use shrink on the large ships and get crushed by tiny amphibious vehicles, it would be a big embarrassment for the navy to the point of saying whats the point of making large ships when cryocopters could just shrink it and get crushed by smaller vehicles.

@@Chikanuk LoL... Yamato got utterly destroyed by puny aircraft. But that's besides the point, and nerfing would be agreeable. They need to power up their shrink ray before they could fire(I also thought that after they fired it up it would take another few seconds to fire before they could possibly shrink, but that would be underpowered and useless so I disregarded it), and that would be enough for the enemy to destroy them. Since the cryocopters have a new ability, it might be best for them to add variants of these units or just add another unit, preferably a support unit that could be used to enlarge or shrink the size of their ally or enemy. It would be a drone, if they planned to add unit.
End of this year or next year, they have bugs to fix, voice acting and maybe even more ground units for empire of the rising sun as well as superweapon & hero unit for celestial empire.
I'm kinda disappointed it's china sense there is another mod that uses china though Germany on the other hand would've been MUCH better as to complete the circle aka Japan, Germany, USA and Russia the main nations in the second world war

I think balance wen't out of the window in uprising because they added artillery aircraft, without anything that can counter them from the ground. I think they could at least counter them by adding advanced AA defences, or something like that, which would be powerfull against large, slow aircraft, but couldn't deal with swarm of light aircraft.

In Chrono drift mode they can't turn their head, and don't have manual off, so u need predict the duration and location where you landing

Japan is still lacking the competitive edge against in those fields unless the devs continue development on them and include brand new mechs and air units/transform able units.

The hovering interceptor can great support fighter by help softening the target that the fighter attacking even its weapon ain't effective against smaller target. In Air to Air walling while letting the attackers and the bombers crushed all but the strongest AA Defense or formation
Also with the Ares interceptor, Allies now have its own "Original Mig" with longer range and fancy missiles

They are currently using the model from CNC3 with small changes, and they said they will work on a new model for it later. The current version looks cool enough IMO though.
I think it is reassembling the GDI Firehawk a little bit more? (Maybe not the CNC3 version, but the Tiberian Twilight version?)
Actually its model is the fire hawk fighter from Command & Conquer 4(we chinese always call it The Turtle Arena because the game is suck),its new model is not finished yet.

Most factions are an alliance/union of multiple countries tho, especially the Allies and the Soviets.
But I imagine the Celestials and the Empire are made of multiple countries as well, not just China and Japan.
(In the Trailer, its implied that the Celestials are at least made of both Chinese and Mongols, while the Empire has the greater east asia co-prosperity sphere which includes most of southeast asia and even Hawaii as seen in the RA3 campaign).
Tbh, the Harbinger Gunship should have the Proton Collider cannons on both the port and starboard sides instead of just only the starboard. Much better off that way.

Oh hey the Centurians take aspects from the vertigo bombers from command and conquer 3, the AA MG I never/barely see them use.
And the harbinger can use both guns, which is far better than the OG harbinger because that Gatling gun does turn infantry into flakes, the proton cannons do more than enough and ground units such as flak troopers wont be able to do much against a harbinger

I do think that the Gunship is a tad bit OP if it can turn invulnerable for about 10 seconds, it can basically attack your backline flying above your defense wall and rain down death and destruction on to your base with impunity.
Hope it is balanced with either a low hp or a massive cooldown to skill

The virus (or rather family of virus) was actually named after this because due to it's protruding spike-like protein resembling a crown. Corona basically refers to the plasma of the sun thus anything depicting the sun and it's protruding plasma especially in drawings like a nation's flag is basically depicting a corona.

I think it's good that they removed it. Because it's OP and annoying. Plus, I can't help but feel frustrated when they use shrink on the large ships and get crushed by tiny amphibious vehicles, it would be a big embarrassment for the navy to the point of saying whats the point of making large ships when cryocopters could just shrink it and get crushed by smaller vehicles.

They need to power up their shrink ray before they could fire(I also thought that after they fired it up it would take another few seconds to fire before they could possibly shrink, but that would be underpowered and useless so I disregarded it), and that would be enough for the enemy to destroy them. Since the cryocopters have a new ability, it might be best for them to add variants of these units or just add another unit, preferably a support unit that could be used to enlarge or shrink the size of their ally or enemy. It would be a drone, if they planned to add unit.

IMO: With most of the units and structures in these mods are getting some buffs and upgrades, I am now curious on how would they fare on combat against the universe of:
-Rise of the Reds
-Mental Omega
-Tiberian Sun
-Code Geass
-Modern Day Earth
I think balance wen't out of the window in uprising because they added artillery aircraft, without anything that can counter them from the ground. I think they could at least counter them by adding advanced AA defences, or something like that, which would be powerfull against large, slow aircraft, but couldn't deal with swarm of light aircraft.
