I have watched all of the episodes on this truck so far. I am amazed at the experience you show doing the body work. You must have been doing this for many years to do what you do. I would love to have the body work knowledge you have. I don't have the time to start from scratch.Good series, thanks for doing it.
I am constantly impressed with your work and dedication to your craft. You welded the rod to the fender making it effortlessly achieved. When I know how that splatter can mess you up. Great video.
Enjoying watching this build very much. I didn't expect it to be that cool but you knocked it out of the park! I am amazed by your skills. Can't wait to see those stacks in place!
@Halfass Kustoms, as long as we didn't offend you, Brent. The Truth is that I'd love to have your imagination, skills and abilities. Whenever I have tried to do bodywork, it comes out worse than the defect that I was trying to put right. I can wield a wrench and even make sparks with a Mig but I'm in awe of what you can achieve! Thanks for posting your work and creations 👍👍👍🇬🇧👍🇨🇦
Sir, I’ve often thought the same about your work, I enjoy watching talented people work through projects that are different that what I do. It’s interesting and enlightening.
Sitting back on a Friday night watching my favorite show!! Thanks for all these videos Brent!!!! The General is absolutely the coolest Pickup truck ever!!
Your explanation of covering the whole surface to sand it back makes a lot of sense as a beginner who has only done a couple body jobs. I have always struggled with the low spots on either side of the Bondo and thought it was because I was using 80 grit instead of 40 grit to rough things in.
The wheels and the chrome that you have on it makes this truck look great and the paint looks great too and you have pride and craftsmanship in it as well watching from Arkansas.
Project Binky is taking forever... this gets me by in the meantime!! It's gonna look awesome driving down the road once finished!! I love the wheel/tire combo!!
coolest truck ever, im loving the color. no need to explain body work, do what works for you. and it looks like what your doing works. its not easy to get panels flat with a da either.
As always it's really looking great now. A brushed aluminium finish on the front grill would suit. I can't wait to see the tailgate finished, keep up the good work!
Between watching you do the body work and listening to the music ( as well as my Friday bourbon on the rocks) kinda puts me in a trance . Another relaxing way to spend some time lol Looks great!
Gotta love the 8" orbital sanders. We call em "mud hogs" in my shop. I like to use them on big areas like those doors, then shoot heavy polyester fiber infused primer on the surface. It's so thick, it eliminates the need for a glaze coat for pinholes. Really speeds up the process.
Thanks for another good one! I liked your explanation on laying down filler. It makes sense to not go too far and just fill all you see, but enough so as not to fill time after time.
And finally, the most hated yellow bits of door on UA-cam are painted over! Such a relief! The Olive drab is becoming The Color of the General and I find myself approving. I kind of like the contrasting grey of the lower sides and running boards and with them the bright silver wheels. I bow to you, the creator, Brent and am waiting to see what you have in mind.
@@rolandgsl painting aluminum with aluminum-colored paint seems redundant, doesn’t it? I think a mirror-polished aluminum would help contrast the already matte-finished green.
I'll tell you, every time i start watching your videos I keep saying why don't he give it one of those fancy paint jobs I see on other vid's. then i see it after your done with a section and just think wow. that looks great. i obviously don't know squat. hehe. you got skills man. i absolutely love it. keep those vid's coming. cant wait to see it done. nice nice job.
I can honestly say I've never seen /watched anyone paint or prime using both hands with the same dexterity, either with spray gun or rattle can, and make it look all the same, a guy couldn't ask for any better. I first noticed this when you painted the 51 Dodge Crusader. When its all said and done, the truck will no doubt turn many heads, many will say, WTF is that? and Whatever it is...., I want one! Pat yourself on the back bro, you're rewriting history and creating something that should have been..👍👍
Great to see all the doors green to match the rest of the truck. The blue and yellow is gone forever ! Seriously, great job. I love the truck. It's green and I'm green with envy ! Keep on Truckin' Brent, It's a beast. Thanks. 👍😎🕵🏾♂️🍺🎹🎸🎵👽🥂
That truck is so cool, especially as quick as its come together. I really liked your music today. Somedays It just doesn't work for so I mute it. I have the tv always running. Don't know why but just works for me, lol. That truck has a presence of its own. Wasn't much for saluting in the army but would salute that General any day. I love your philosophy of not needing to be perfect. Choosing the right finish to get the best results. Thanks for sharing.
I'm halfway through this half-assed video. I look forward to each and every one. There's no iron like old iron. It's guys like you who bring that adage to life. That truck is a beast and you are a wild man! Thank gawd the dogs are there to keep you on the straight and narrow. hahaha! Keep them coming. The Mrs. cameos are kool as well.
Man brother you got her looking great it is awesome. I use to drive 1 of these it had a 250 cummins. I was a semi and i drove a 1950 r 190 both were great trucks never left me on the side of the road
Working for my brother in his shop when I was a kid when we rubbed the car down with Klix to remove wax and dust he made us keep one hand in our pocket so we would not touch the car with our bare hands. Then we would tack it off with tack rag and be the same way keep that extra hand in your pocket so you would not mess up the car by touching it and making a fingerprint fish eye spot. Brought back memories to me as a kid helping out at my brothers shop. THANKS
Looking really good !! You are doing a great job !! Thank you for sharing !!! I like the music too !! God bless you and yours !!!!! Eddy ( Looking forward to seeing you and your son on the Mustang !)
Hey Mr. you missed a spot ha ha just kidding. It's looking good. Your amazing, a dodge frame and running gear, two old IH cabs. and an old pickup box mix it all together and wallah you created a killer truck.
Love that truck the old rattel can job is good i did that to my 65 thames black it had been through gate ways and the like the panels were so battered i had to get lower side s and beat out the rest keep up the good work 😎
I love theses videos .How far you got. And she going to look beautiful when she all done . it's going to sad when your because I enjoy you working on the old girl . good job you have lots of Talent
I look forward to seeing your videos very much! I gave you a couple of "Shout Outs" in my videos recently. I hope that it helps to make your channel grow even more! Thanks for all you do for all if us!
Rattle rattle......its amassing how far you have come.... Looking good buddy, it definitely has potential..... Trophy type potential..... You will be the center of attraction for sure... Stay worm.
What a difference it makes having her all in one colour. Looking great. I can’t believe you’ve buckled to public opinion and started masking your windows for paint 😱

You got great work ethics. And lots of skills. Can’t wait to see the General when done.
This is looking awesome ! In my opinion it'll be one good looking build . Can hardly wait to see the finish !
I'm gonna hate it when this build is done. This is totally awesome. Love this truck 🚚

Keeps getting better and better.Really like the color,I think it looks awesome! 👍

I dig it too! Can't believe you make it look so professional with spray cans. Getting excited!
I tried to buy some Krylon green spray but they said some Canadian in a red toque bought all of them .
@Rod Parker, funny that....... I was trying to buy some body filler and they told me exactly the same thing about a Canadian in a red torque??
lol

Some guy in a hot rod with a couple of big dogs.
@@joseywales3789 Hey, I'm impressed that "toque" is ALMOST spelled correctly!
love this build. one day i hope to be doing something similar. so very enjoyable series.

haha sounds like you sorta have something like it in the works
Impressive ambidextrous rattle can painting skills. 👍
Well,,, you DID get a lot done though...
This truck looks awesome!!!!!! Thank YOU for showing us this build!!
Love the daily progress updates, keeps me motivated to go out work on the Caddy each day!!

True but Binky was a totally different type of build.
@@rogerfrancis65 For sure!! But both are equally enjoyable in my book!!
***Typing this as I watch the new installment!***
New Binky video out this morning, it’s in paint!
coolest truck ever, im loving the color. no need to explain body work, do what works for you. and it looks like what your doing works. its not easy to get panels flat with a da either.
This is the baddest truck I've seen. This is awesome
As always it's really looking great now. A brushed aluminium finish on the front grill would suit. I can't wait to see the tailgate finished, keep up the good work!
brent im so impressed with your work. thats an awsome truck .you seem to have fun rather than work
Looks awesome, this has be one of your favorite builds for sure, right.
She looks amazing Brent. No question in my mind that the olive was the best choice of color for that truck.
There’s a primer and bondo shortage too
greatly enjoying watching the truck come together
👍 from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 in a hard Lockdown and curfew .
thanks for the video .

haha yeah, that's usually my process just keeping it simple on this truck.
Nothing like toe tapping to Brent’s music on a Friday night !
Thanks for another good one! I liked your explanation on laying down filler. It makes sense to not go too far and just fill all you see, but enough so as not to fill time after time.

Truck is starting to look good love your work ,I watched some of your old videos the other day you are very talented
It’s looking great! That front emblem and aluminum grille louvers would look really nice polished up!
I think I'd like to see the louvers in a more matte finish...aluminum paint, maybe?
@@rolandgsl painting aluminum with aluminum-colored paint seems redundant, doesn’t it? I think a mirror-polished aluminum would help contrast the already matte-finished green.
Just hit them with a brillo or scotchbrite pad...done

Dominion primer. Good stuff. I've used it quite a bit on some of my projects. Lays down really nicely
Dude, I can't imagine Michael Angelo improving his skills. Yet you raise the bar evert time. I'm inspired. Thank you.
Looking forward to see what you do with the front and rear bumpers
The rattle can paint job, looks great, looks nice and even....on camera, anyways ! Awesome job !!
yeah I find I get different results depending on the paint, but krylon seem to laydown real even
That’s a lot of square footage on the truck for body work & paint! 😎👍
Now that it's almost all painted you can't tell it was not factory original awesome job
That stick on stuff you're using for masking I don't know what you're using but that stuff's pretty darn cool
Love the magic of paint!
Hi Brent.Really enjoyed your Dodge and Pontiac montages.Going to miss the Truck when it is done
That finish has come out really good for Rattle cans 👍

You make it look so easy man!...
Enjoyed the process of this build. Kinda sad its coming to an end but that's what its all about. Well done mate
Love the background string country music ! Fiddles and banjos blend in with your speed mode !
That truck looks great in Olive Drab. It's perfect.
Paint the stacks, grill, running boards, mirrors all flat black. That’ll look really cool
I feel that I am watching a guy that loves what he is doing. Of course somethings are more fun than others.
Front looks good with headlights in it. Overall it looks fantastic. Thanks for sharing. 👊

Rembrandt von Rattlecan. Extraordinary skills!
General is looking great! I am looking forward to seeing what colour you choose for the bumper!
Looking good. .
Awesome video
I dig it too. Awesome truck
Love seeing the penetration on the outside of the fender when welded on the inside.
Hi Brent. Polish the grill vents. Some content? Excellent build. Looks similar to old Dodge Powerwagon from the 40s.
Staying with the rattle can theme, spray aluminium on the bumper and grille. It'll match the wheels. Looks AWSOME As is.
I really like your style man
Rattle rattle......its amassing how far you have come.... Looking good buddy, it definitely has potential..... Trophy type potential..... You will be the center of attraction for sure... Stay worm.
What a difference it makes having her all in one colour. Looking great.
I can’t believe you’ve buckled to public opinion and started masking your windows for paint 😱
haha had that fancy plastic I could stick on em pretty quick with that stuff.
Lol.....Brent falls off the wagon next vid.
Nice color, this crewcab will be nice rider!
Looking good👍 the color is perfect for that truck!
Take your time I’m in no hurry to see this build end. So damn interesting 🤨 By the way how many rattle cans so far?
Looks fab-
Those forgotten years of mustangs look great with a raised front wheel well arch. Dropping the front. Totally fixes the look.
Awesome job Brent General is looken great !!👍catch you later!!!
Going to be a magnificent truck man I can't wait to see him Chrome stacks on that puppet
Hell man Black's going to look good too is still going to be an awesome awesome truck
Looks good all one color
spray cans can be tough on the trigger finger but at least you don't have to clean out a spray gun every time.
Looking good in almost one color. My dog Carona and I are watching.
It's looking better every time I see it!
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙏
The pant really looks good on the IH
