- Canadian Bay is a short drive from the main village shops of Mount Eliza, Victoria. It's a sandy beach with rocky outcrops and the the Canadian Bay Yacht Club sits over the water.
After gearing up in the carpark, we had leisurely 90 minutes under the water, first exploring under the yacht club, then venturing out to some of the rocky outcrops.
Not much fish life around, just a few small rays and a nudibranch.
Water temp 22 C.
Even though we dived close to high tide, the average depth was only between 2-3 metres. At least it was great for practising your buoyancy skills!
If you're going to dive Canadian Bay, make sure to use a surface marker - there are boats around!
Watch in 4K!
Lovely. Looked a nice day.
@skillmeup53 It's always a nice day when you're diving!
@@csgproductions Yes, been too long for me. Tanks, gear well out of test and the diver very much so. I did look about for Robin Woods recently to see if he was still testing tanks but appears to be gone (not sure if you knew of him).
Love the video. Do you dive at half moon bay?
@Rachael.Zoes.Journey Hi. I dived half moon bay a few years (or more) ago. Not much but sand and seagrass. From underwater, the Cerberus' hull was a long, rusty wall. Sorry to disappoint 😞
