If u press left trigger while as a QB you put the ball down and can do stick moves behind the line of scrimmage and move faster then you can when you just hold right trigger, then you can press left trigger agian to pull the ball up and get ready to throw

The Scenario seems to make veterans more valuable to keep. Before you could just drop them for trade value but now keeping a middle of the pack veteran is now beneficial based upon your draft strategy.
I think i like the generally lower overalls for across the board for players. It seems way more realistic in the sense that a 99 overall player is elite, 1 or 2 in a generation talent, and with how the development works (especially in Madden 19) there would be several 99 overall players after a season or two.

The pass rush isn't too good. You're just backing up right into the pass rushers lane. Take a step or two up into the pocket, and you'll have that extra 2 or 3 seconds (depending on how good your o-line is). And a QB has to have the Escape Artist superstar ability in order to feel like a real scrambling QB.
Anyone having issues with Xbox early trial, I preordered the game and downloaded it but get an error code. Others on console are playing now, and EA said it is now live on ALL platforms. Thanks, Great vid as always and hyped for MADDEN SZN
I'm sure you'll learn this as you play, but it seems to me you need to be more conscious of Cam Jordan/SS edge players to insure a double team - shift line coverage and/or RB/TE to help block him. Superstars can beat good/solid players.

Don’t use custom draft classes, every rebuild feels the same that way, if you don’t use them every rebuild will be different

C4 tuck the ball with L2 when you scramble. he’ll run faster as a ball carrier instead of looking down the field to throw
also, when they’re in a contain- if you run backwards- they’re going to come get you quick. that’s literally been the mechanic for a year now.

If a qb has superstar dev they can have an ability that makes their scrambling broken. I had it with baker and he couldn’t be touched by most lineman.

Scrambling QBs have been severely limited for awhile now because they still haven’t fixed the issue of them not running the ball.
Besides the graphics and some cool adjustments to franchise pretty much same game
Gameplay is extremely different.
I guess allmost any QB would fumble the ball, if he runs straight up into NFL defenders 😂
