CORRECTION: the shells in this shell pack are maple/teak, not maple/poplar - sorry for the confusion!
A royal blue finish and A&F's exclusive thin maple-poplar shells endow the Maple Club Chandler shell pack with a dazzling presentation and a meaty, focused tone. Inside each shell you'll find A&F's "reverse baseball bat" rounded-outer edges and reinforcement ring-less shell construction, together exhibiting a warm punch and broadband sustain that comes straight out of post-war America. Coordinating wood hoops provide an heirloom look and unlock a beautifully warm, enveloping nearfield response from behind the kit. Additionally, a full set of A&F's homespun antique hardware and premium Remo heads give the Maple Club Chandler all the appeal of a vintage kit with the trueness and integrity of a modern design.

please continue to list cymbals being used in the videos!!
I've already seen a few videos where they were not listed..
The comments here crack me up. Nearly all of the negative comments have never played an A&F kit or heard one in person. I realize that most even couldn’t afford them anyways and they are not for everyone. I absolutely love mine and I have owned just about every high end drum brand there is. For all the naysayers I want you to please consider this, Nick does a ton of these review videos for all different brands. Yes he is a phenomenal drummer but yes he is also a salesperson. But when he starts playing this kit at the 11:50 mark in the video, listen to all the vocal outbursts he does. Also check out that smile on his face. For someone who’s job it is to play all these drums to make you want to buy them, he sure is loving playing on these. He doesn’t do that for every kit for sure.
Exactly, but anyone who appreacites a good sounding instrument knows a great instrument when they hear it. They are worth every penny. They are made with love! And SOUND divine. They are worth it!
Yea. They give off that $5000 vibe alright
They are out of Austin.....Armie...A&F THEY MAKE NICE STUFF BUT THEY'RE RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE BECAUSE THEY'RE HANDMADE YOU'RE PROBABLY LOOKING AT $8,500 RIGHT THERE
@@jerseymafia1923 the Japanese perfected the art decades ago as far as I'm concerned
@@Elboy522 for wood drums, for sure
@@jerseymafia1923 what drums aren’t “hand made”?
I would buy it. It’s cheaper than a British classic sports car and it’s top quality.
😮 Best sounding drums I ever heard in my life and best looking drums I ever seen in my life. Worth much more than 5000$ 🖤🖤🖤
Nick's transformed the humble demo into a form of art.
Nick that Keyboard player just stole your Gig !........you still rock
Nice drums but I’m still hearing that burning keyboard solo in my head. Nice playing gents.
I wish the guys demonstrating guitar products at Sweetwater were as good as Nick is on the drums. He has such a passion for the instrument and a super smooth technique and sound!
Nick with the jazz tho 👌 I'm a metal drummer but jazz definitely helps with fill inspiration
Amusing that they make Craviotto seem like more of a budget line in terms of cost
I feel like these drums were made for hipsters with too much money.
It’s still cheaper than one Rolex wrist watch
Clearly you have no idea what it costs to handmake drums. A person gives you time when they sell you products like these. What is their time worth? What is YOUR time worth?
@@theuniversityoflife8704 joke is a joke dude. Glad these exist for those who want them, not for me though. If I was to pay this kind of money I’d love those hand made Tama star drums which for me would be worth the cost. But CLEARLY I don’t understand the value of cool stuff.
Cool drums but honestly some of the most overpriced for what they sound like. Give me a yamaha phx or tama star or sonor sq2 and you'd still save money. Just no comparison. If these were like 2 to 3k I could maybe understand but not for 5k. Jeez.
How much would you charge for handmaking drums? What is YOUR time worth?
Beautiful drums for sure. But 5g's? Insane.
One of my best drum sets!👍
What's a&f?
Abercrombie and Fitch?
Anton and family
Nick. You should play that kit alot.
The Starbucks of drums. Expensive just for the sake of it.

5k for 3 shells? Jesus.
Making "vintage" drums doesn't mean literally going back in time to when drums weren't as good and erasing all the progress over the years. Pass
Great demonstration Nick...lovely looking kit too.
12" rack tom? It looks 13" 🤔
Description on the sweetwater site say 13” so u are right.
Is the key player playing the bass line too?
All the comments seem on point to me. Want to experience some real sticker shock? Check out their hardware! They use less material and charge more. Go figure. 😒
Whats the Sabian crash chinah cymbal besides the rack tom?
Nick can make Tupperware sound amazing too. His playing on all reviews is beautiful.
@ 3:38 Power stroke 3 on the batter side not the front !!
They sound great for sure but they should include snare for that much money
Why didn't you list the cymbals used? What was the China to the left side ?
Great playing. Nick is a great spokesperson and great musician. These drums are cool, but the price is way outta control. The sound is kinda unique, which can be good and bad. If you have money to burn and want the kit as a prestige type thing, more power to you. For working drummers and most struggling musicians, not an option IMO.
That small tom looks as big or bigger than the snare drum from the overhead shot.
The guys here out of Austin and make that but their equipment is ridiculously expensive $2,500 for a bass drum $1200 for a floor tub
True!
I'm not a fan of CB 700 drums but that was one of my first kits. I made quite a bit of money gigging with that kit even though it was a cheap kit. Having said that I'll never understand spending this much!
There are plenty of nice kits made way under this price
No disrespect to the guy that builds these drums but man do they sound bad to me, like a bunch of basketballs bouncing around at the same time.
Hate to say it but they sound like cardboard boxes. The bass has a little something goin on . But ill pass spend less get a better tone with something else
Wow, they sound bad! Super high price and cheap hardware. Those bass drum claw hooks are about as cheap as you can buy. I've heard $500 drums that sound better than these. Pass!
Waaay Over priced drums...that have a poor build quality. Cool civil war concept though.
Tall about vintage vibe
I’m afraid I fall into the majority camp. Not impressed with the sound versus the price tag. Sorry Nick… The crawl stick on the snare just doesn’t sound that great on this end. Maybe it’s the miking
Just saw that “Tupperware “ post😂
Everyone has an angle..Here is the vintage look and vibe with a 2030 price tag.
Top....
For $5K they could have made the leather washers under the badges look halfway decent... am I the only one who thinks they look like a 4-year old cut them with dull scissors? Lmao
👍🙋♂️
keyboard solos.... (ಠ ∩ಠ)
So mediocre.....!!!
-_-
A bit overpriced. Not digging the rusty hardware. Love that kick drum hoop though.
