Great topic Eli. Especially as an immigrant but also what challenges you as well in a smaller town. The options or opportunities are not as plentiful as say in a larger city. I love your attitude to a 'self-date' once in a while to stay active. Who knows, you just might meet someone that way. Putting yourself out there, let alone documenting it like you are is not easy in a 'foreign' country. Bravo to you. Can't wait for the next chapter. 💌

People from warmer climates always have a hard time getting used to Canadian interpersonal behavior. People from the South are outside more often and are used to developing friendships quickly. Here in Canada, because of our climate, we are indoors more often and lack the apparent openness of southern cultures. However, when we do begin to open up, I think it is to a deeper extent.
Just my opinion!

Goooood video, though it's hard to match the biological age with mental age .. so that could be the hardest part of searching for a good friend.
