Finally - I've wondered about being rear-ended if I used one-pedal driving or strong regenerative braking. This is the first time that I'm aware of that I was informed that the brake lights are activated if the system is slowing the car enough to warrant them.
not in iPedal mode lmao. Consumer Reports just exposed these guys
Same
Good info
I wasn't aware of how to change the regenerative braking. On a different note, went out today and the instrument cluster said I had 103 miles left before I needed to recharge the battery. I estimate that I drove about 25 miles from leaving home until returning. When I got home the panel now said I had 114 miles left until recharge!
And what level did you have it on?
Regen braking really does wonders. I have the same experience in my Mini, my commute is downhill mostly so if I drive conservatively I actually gain percentage on the battery charge.
The Auto can also be adjusted in levels by using the paddles.
I test drove Ioniq5, why did regenerative braking turn on when hitting left paddle and turn off when hitting right panel. That’s it on/off with nothing else happening. The salesperson said that’s the way it works. Salesman also said no more ioniq 5 since the ioniq 6 is coming out. 😊 don’t think he was overly knowledgeable
The salespeople are inadequately trained on special features of vehicles.
IN WHAT position do you set the i pedal when driving on the highway at 60-70 mph in order to save energy and the same question when driving at 30-40 mph in the city with lots of stops ?
From my experience driving my Ioniq 6 I leave it in level 3. In heavy stop and go I turn on level 4.
I have the 2019 Ioniq. Is there a way to set it at level 3 always so I don't have to adjust it everytime I start the car?
How can I change it without it going back to level 3 everytime I start the car?
Pst, Hyundai: flaps are to be mounted on the stock, not the wheel...
