    Now that is skill. I am impressed that you don't use expensive machine tools and the bow is really well made. Well done sir. Well done.

    Dude. you are the best. most diy people use heavy machinery and forget that not everyone have those kind of heavy equipment. your tools are simple and your method is very traditional and easy to work with. keep up the good work! Good Luck. :D

    My Sub was going crazy through most of this! All filmed in a windy field?!
    Fab improvisation and use of basic tools to create this! I'll skip to pt1 to see how you fastened the ends of the strings!

      why you use black colour at the end? most hunters love their stuff in nature appearing like wooden with wax or gloss, and leather hide of something polished.

    That hole for the bolt will just tear the flights off it, lose that part, the stay needs 90° reinforcement and you could use the bow bolts on a sliding mount moving the sprung steel against itself to double your power too

    Great build! i think you should invest in a small Rotary tool like a Dremel. I think it would help you a lot then cutting the Bolt Grooves and sanding :D

    have you thought of putting the bow on ackwards and closer to the grip? It's balanced more and v it is injury of the way. You don't lose any power but the recoil is reversed

I went through the comments to see if anyone else asked this but I may have missed it.. do you mind if I ask where you got your materials? nice design. I would make those arrows stick out past riser. if u miss that little hole at end of rail, you will be picking out splinters from your hand ...or eyeball. I hunt with 260 lb pull, Excalibur... Xbows are scary dangerous. Have you thought of attaching pistol grip to it... would be cool

    • @WeaponTutorials
      @WeaponTutorials  7 років тому

      I removed that metal part on the end of the riser, they are damn powerful. I'll soon make little bit bigger crossbow with pistol grip because I think that this one is too small for full size pistol grip! Thanks :)
