DYMO 4XL Sent to me in bits - Can I reassemble this and get it working again? | UK eBay Reseller

I was sent a DYMO 4XL label printer by a friend who had a paper jam and ended up pulling the whole printer apart. When they tried to put it back together it didn't work and they didn't know where some of the parts went. Let's see if we can get this DYMO 4XL label printer back together and get it to work.

Thank you for this! I’m pretty sure you saved me from having to buy a new printer by giving a glimpse of how things are supposed to connect under the hood when I had to take ours apart to fix a broken gear and then reconnect some ribbon cables

How did you reconnect the big white ribbon cable and the two smaller brown ribbon cables to the circuit board again?

It is very fiddly to do but can be done. The easiest way is to unscrew and remove the sensor ends, it makes it much easier to get the smaller ribbons in and then put the sensors back in place.
