I got a load like that from USG friday. It wasn’t per loaded. Waited 5 hrs but I’m not complaining. For that type of load. Taking tarps off is harder. The load is nice and squared. Easy.
I was just saying the same thing about the tarp thing at P&S lol I sent a comment on that workhound thing they send every week and told them the last company i worked for did a $15 preload ( to fix up pre loads) $25 to tarp $25 to untarp. But untarping way more difficult than tarp, it only takes a few minutes to un-roll a tarp and sling it over the sides.
man its amazing watching your journey my guy you came a long ways from TransAm proud of ya man, i will be graduating cdl school in september i started in may i did the 5 month course but wont be 21 till march of next year so i’ll be doin local for about 5 or 6 months . keep going man your great stay safe out there 💯
I had that trailer for one of my load out of there and I was like man this trailer is pretty cool. He also had boxes between the trailer axles. I met you out there on the yard bro and recognized you from watching your videos and we chatted for a bit. The new guy lol.
I remember you brother. I hope you’re doing well. Stay safe out there and if you have any questions, feel free to msg me through my Facebook DelgadoTrucking
I just left that terminal today We are always just missing each other I won’t go back to California too hard to get out of there a good luck my brother
Hey buddy. It's been official since about 2 weeks ago now, I'm now a Maverick Transportation driver. I've seen a lot of P&S trucks where I run, so I hope to see you out there one day. Those drywall pre-loaded trailers are no joke, you have to watch what equipment the driver who drops it leaves with it/takes with them. Because you could be left without a steel tarp, 0 friction mats, and missing a piece of lumber. (That happened to me this week) lol Edit: To answer your question, Putting the tarps on and making sure they are done right the first time is slower/harder than taking it off and putting it away. Hands down 100% been my experience. Folding them up, with the exception of the 8 footers is fairly fast and easy. The 8 footers take a little more time because you have to stretch them out on the ground to fold them up right. If it's hot outside, add in a few minute break or two to rehydrate/cool off in the cab so you don't keel over in the heat while folding up the 8 foot tarps.
Oh damn that's crazy, I just finished first week of Melton orientation..... I'm from Huntsville Alabama😂 Just curious, you have to put yourself on the board everyday?? That's wild😮
Hey Delgado I used to work with you , we both worked for Melton, I have been with Melton for two years. I am fixing to quit I wanted your input when you quit Melton how did they treat you.?p I'm concerned about the company that they may be coming.
DMT is a sister company of p&s. If you’re looking to hook me up with a referral, first off, really appreciate it brother. I’m with P&S. Driver code is delja1. Good luck!
Those Jackson,TN loads be paying pretty good and most of the time they’re easy loads
I love Ameristeel out of Jackson. You are right about that
You did a favor for the company (bringing that guy trailer back) and they rewarded you with a great load.. that's a good company!! 👍
Yeah. P&S is great!

I try to avoid loads that aren’t ready at USG. You will sit for a long time

@@delgadotrucking I will. I plan on spending at least 2 or 3 years as a company driver before I make a decision to go Mav I.C. or not.
Something that tall is a pain and sharp corners
I know for the most part, I’ll be SE regional right? I stay in NC. I’ll be out weekly. Now, I can choose to be out longer if I wanted to?
