woodturning long thin neck olive vase
I was challenged to do a project without using Resin .
So from a olive log to a vase with no resin .
i got withdrawal symptoms i don't know what to do :)

Very beautiful Ahron. It would be just as beautiful with resin. The tenacity of some grumpy people to insinuate that you can only work with resin. I say "do what makes you happy".

Another beautiful vase. I love all wood, but as you know epoxy saves beautiful wood that would just go to waste. It takes such talent to be able to turn both and you got it!

Your inspiration was a good one. Very nice vase from a great wood. I love olive. The center grain is beautiful and contrasts nicely with the light outter wood. I think I would have drilled it as soon as I reversed it. That way I could turn and sand the edge of the hole with the rim. Glad you cut the rim down as well. Good proportions. Very nice project. Love the “all wood” piece.
