Oh god, I hate those. I'm just fine with self-aware buffoonery (ex Jim Carey, or the Yogscast) but if you have to be a sociopath to laugh at some of the cringe they try to pass off as comedy.
Dire, you get more dust from your ruby's if you use a sagmill instead of the macerator, it turns each Ore into 3 rubys, and then you cruser each ruby into one dust.
The Actually Additions ESD can specify which inventory slot to put things in...... keep mentioning it, especially with the carpenters, but he doesn't seem to read comments these days.
I figured that, but I dropped those comments like 10 eps ago, I ran into that issue a while back, could have saved him a lot of pain. Lol. Just had to vent due to all the times I cringed at his "need to automate this somehow" comments.
Also, to save some troubleshooting, this was my last comment "BTW, I tired using the Actually Additions ESD with the carpenter, it seems you need to set it's outbound values to 12 > 13 for the first slot, 13 > 14 for the second slot, etc."
I have said it before and I will say it now. Dire! The usual plan is to blow up everything in the end and then start over. In the meanwhile you make a void base. Consider making something more permanent and away from the void! It will be interesting to see what you come up with istead of the "I need it now, forget about tommorow" base!
To deal with the Ruby issue just change the recipe in the AE system to crush 9 ore at a time. Then clear down so you have none in the system and restart. This way you will always have 2 sets of dust to convert with none left over. Do the same with Bauxite (different multiple if required)
You can just drop steel on the press and it will work. This hurts physically. And I wish more machines had the auto-split like the Double Crusher and Double Furnace from AA have. It's really annoying when you have to manually split the stack in the Induction Furnace and Arc Furnace. EDIT: IIRC Dynamic Integration has a way of reading specific slots in inventories, so maybe it has also a way of putting them in a slot of your choice.
Yeah it is painfull to watch him build a contraption to just throw 4 Stell on the thing if I remember correctly at the start he even threw Ingots into the press himselfe
from 4:00 to 6:05 : Dire over-engineering pressing the drop key a maximum of four times facing the input of the machine Good job Dire. also, FYI, even if you are correct about the water electrolysis making twice as many hydrogen as oxygen, the reason you give for it is false, since you're producing dihydrogen and dioxygen it doesn't change the ratio the balanced reaction "equation" for the electrolysis of water is then: 2 H2O -> 2 H2 + O2 ^ you can see the 2 that explains the ratio
Nicholas Wright Or you store hydrogen at a 6 times higher pressure than oxygen. Also, i'm not going to complain too much in a game where blocks literally ignore basic physics.
The reason the hopper into the metal press doesn't work is because it's expecting exact input. A hopper only outputs one, so it will not accept partial ingredients. Having a method that inserts multiple will work, as long as it's trying to insert exact numbers (ie, a transfer node with 5 steel won't insert, but 4 will)
Thank you Direwolf20! You are cool, and I like that. Dire, why not use the IC2 Induction Furnace for Auto-crafting instetad of the EnderIO Furnace? It's a bit faster. And automating the emptying of the Compressed Air cells with an IC2 extractor is cool.
@direwolf20 you can speed the Advance rocketry Machines by upgrading the coils in the motor and the coils in the arc furnace but the pack developer has the higher tier motors and coils disabled.
Except that hydrogen has 1/8 the atomic mass of oxygen and therefore a tank of the same volume would hold 16x more hydrogen molecules in the same space assuming the tanks were at the same pressure.
You really need to do a week long review on Advanced Rocketry to really get the feel of it. As for getting items into specific slots maybe Integrated Dynamics can help out? #direinspace
I offically don't like the Advanced Rocketry mod, the multi-blocks look nice and everything but the processes and crafting are so slow and it gets boring after a while.
dire maybe from ender-io that thing that lets you watch though it. it allows you to access inventorys when standing on a travel anchor. saves a walk to the arc furnace :). not sure if it's a hard recipe tho
Hi Dire! Did you check the UU-Matter requirements for those chrome-hungry structure blocks? As that is currently your limiting factor, would be nice to know.
Dire's episodes come out a 6AM for me but, I was so busy today, that I am only able to watch at about 10:30. I normally have coffee but right now, I'm having a beer. It's a strange experience.
why not flip the last machine around, so the power input is on the same side, and the fluid input is on the same side as the output of the water splitter?
Hello, is there a way to get your saves from FTB infinite skyblock expert ? I started playing divine journey, and cant find a compact way to automate botania altar for all runes(maybe 1 setup for 1 tier) There was the build Soaryn did, but you never explained. Or could you please help me?
The microblock ME interface is really good when you want to attach the interface to exactly one block, but it's often convenient to pipe things in to all the sides of the interface, for which the old block-size one is better. That is, after all, why both still exist.
dire, to make the arc furnace more eficient, can't you make a program maybe in computercraft to take the itens e put one in the fist slot, one in the second.... like a round robin mode?
well. after watching the past 5-8 episodes im not going to play this modpack anymore, way to much grinding and compacting recipies for me. i can take crash landing shifting dust, but having to do that much crafting to get another machine, which needs this which comes from a different machine which needs another part from a different machine. and all use alot of expensive materials.. ill pass
Automate, Automate, Automate. It's difficult to do before AE (most of the time you can only batch process), but once you've got your ME system running, automate all the things. Then you don't have to craft except one-offs, and physically building multi-block structures. Which if "building stuff" is such a problem... why are you playing Minecraft?
Tomewyrm Draconus its not the building of them.but the crafting of tons of recorces into blocks. if you look at age 6 to where dire is. alot of grinding and set up is needed. but yes when i get AE set up it be easyer but the struggle to get to it is not a stuggle/grind i like
"we will never have 9 ruby dust because the macerator gives us 2" um... but you'll get 18 , so eventually it will get emptied out
He could also easily set AE2 up to only process 9 Ruby Ores at a time so it won't block the Bauxite.
The metal press with the gear mold won't accept individual ingots, they need to be inserted 4 at a time.
Thing is he could have just jumped up there and dropped them onto the conveyor, so painful to watch a great fall from height.
he should have just made a cut
its fun to see him derp around, not everybody can we as smart with mods, dire is better with redstone ;)
Eredaane are you one of those people that considers movies that rely on secondhand embarrassment as comedies?
Oh god, I hate those. I'm just fine with self-aware buffoonery (ex Jim Carey, or the Yogscast) but if you have to be a sociopath to laugh at some of the cringe they try to pass off as comedy.

RFTools Control will do it as well
Good call:)
Nicholas Hoffmann he responded, so he does read the comments, I think he has pre-recorded these and therefore can't have reacted to your comments
I figured that, but I dropped those comments like 10 eps ago, I ran into that issue a while back, could have saved him a lot of pain. Lol. Just had to vent due to all the times I cringed at his "need to automate this somehow" comments.

A couple of terms that might be helpful for you Direwolf20 1. Batch Processing 2. Pre-crafting.
I have said it before and I will say it now.

Entitled yea I kinda agree with you btw I’m a UA-camr I just started not to long ago with uploading videos my UA-cam name is my name on this commment
And you shouldn't advertise your channel on other peoples channel, that is just plain rude and disrespective to the content creator
Adriano, there is a report button for just such an occasion :-)
Yeah it is painfull to watch him build a contraption to just throw 4 Stell on the thing if I remember correctly at the start he even threw Ingots into the press himselfe
Extra Utils 2 can split stacks.
I like how, because of where he's placed these machines, you can always faintly hear the sound of a Geiger counter in the background.
from 4:00 to 6:05 :
Dire over-engineering pressing the drop key a maximum of four times facing the input of the machine
Good job Dire.
also, FYI, even if you are correct about the water electrolysis making twice as many hydrogen as oxygen, the reason you give for it is false, since you're producing dihydrogen and dioxygen it doesn't change the ratio
the balanced reaction "equation" for the electrolysis of water is then:
2 H2O -> 2 H2 + O2
^ you can see the 2 that explains the ratio
Hydrogen is 6 times less dense than oxygen so if you are going by volume you would have 6 Hydrogen to equal the same density as 1 Oxygen
Nicholas Wright Or you store hydrogen at a 6 times higher pressure than oxygen. Also, i'm not going to complain too much in a game where blocks literally ignore basic physics.
Lmao 4:00 minutes in and Direwolf20 already forgets how to make gears manually. Wtf dude you literally just throw the steel onto the moving belt
The reason the hopper into the metal press doesn't work is because it's expecting exact input. A hopper only outputs one, so it will not accept partial ingredients. Having a method that inserts multiple will work, as long as it's trying to insert exact numbers (ie, a transfer node with 5 steel won't insert, but 4 will)
I love it all you had to do was throw the four pieces of Steel down on the belt and it would have sucked it right in and pressed it
But Direwolf,
Rocket Fuel cant melt Dank memes
DIRE TO SOLVE UR CHROME AND BAUXITE AUTOMATING PROBLEM USE COUNTING FILTERS FROM ENDER IO
Joseph Espiritu yea if he will read your comment I play a lot of modded Minecraft so I already know about that I found out that not to long ago
Joseph Espiritu plz
They can limit to 9 but they don't prevent 8 sitting around & blocking the machine
Nah. Use processing recipes. Way better.
You can drop ingots manually on the conveyor. The gear press won't accept ingots 1 at a time through hoppers.
The input/output hatches can just be put in an crafting grid to make the opposite. Works with the fluid ones too
I believe Integrated Dynamics can detect and write to individual inventory slots. That might be a fun challenge!
At 19, if you set it to 9 instead, you will always have the ruby dust cleared out after it processes the 2 sets
could of changed it to 9 ruby dust to make it auto make 1 chrome at a time
Your enderman farm doesn't have an ender tether. There's probably lots of endermen around your base for that very reason.
You should add an export of flint to the sagmill downstairs because you are losing out on potential ores.
I guess that you could seeeemi solve that issue with arc furnace by just keeping a stack of each ingot ready and autocraft when it gets below a stack.
The cutting machine block was also facing the wrong way. #DIREDERP
You can make Stainless steel with chrome bars in a alloy furnace so no need to keep chrome dust.
@direwolf20 you can speed the Advance rocketry Machines by upgrading the coils in the motor and the coils in the arc furnace but the pack developer has the higher tier motors and coils disabled.
UA-cam Gaming seems to think this is Age of Empires. Is this an accident or is AoE claiming this video in order to siphon off ad revenue? Hmmmm...
Extra Utils 2 can do the redstone ingots and the steel/chrome.
You could use a smeltery for gears with a gear cast(any gear will work for the cast)
Except that hydrogen has 1/8 the atomic mass of oxygen and therefore a tank of the same volume would hold 16x more hydrogen molecules in the same space assuming the tanks were at the same pressure.
Poor sheep at minute 12... RIP
ShireenPlays
I wish the other version with the tiered structure blocks could be found. One of the reasons why I wanted to play invasion.
I'm curious to see that version as well
dire maybe from ender-io that thing that lets you watch though it. it allows you to access inventorys when standing on a travel anchor. saves a walk to the arc furnace :). not sure if it's a hard recipe tho
Rftools Control can bu used to automate the arc furnace farily easily
What Happened to the Drawers Here 30:58
I read Dwarves at first and got so excited
well the reason there are only one type of motor and coils is because that is an older version of advanced rocketry.
I can solve your redstone problem in a single tweet.
Integrated Dynamics can do the slot based item thingy
When dire wire comes then eyes start burning and people start blowing dire up with comments about dire wire.
Dire if you think this pack is hard then take a look at the GT-new horizons pack, it's far, far, far worse.
Hi Dire!
Did you check the UU-Matter requirements for those chrome-hungry structure blocks? As that is currently your limiting factor, would be nice to know.
dire make 2 more presses and put the 4 in a square with the interfaces on the cornors...make sure the presses all go the same way.
Dire, why don't you autocraft flint to put into the sag mill for bonus output?
Dire's episodes come out a 6AM for me but, I was so busy today, that I am only able to watch at about 10:30. I normally have coffee but right now, I'm having a beer. It's a strange experience.
Also, why not make a wireless crafting terminal? Too expensive?
Ermmm... 9 ore macerated gives 18 dust which would take two runs through the electrolyzer with nothing left over.
You're lucky you're getting a one-to-one ratio of hydrogen to oxygen. it should be 1 to 8 going by atomic mass.
dire its liquid hydrogen so it takes more molecules you would get to hydrogen if it was giving you a gas
Try scanning a Machine Structure and if you can make it with UU, just like you did with the Machine Chassis
Csaba Láng its blacklisted for uu
For some reason this video didn't show up in my feed.
Diretime!!
how to solve the ruby problem: SAG mill ruby ore to get 3 rubies then macerate the rubies to get 3 dust from each ore.
Can't you set the interface to keep 9 stocked at a time? Or does the ME interface do partial requests?
Hydrogen is 1 Oxygen is 8 so you should get 4x the liquid oxygen as you do hydrogen
Why dont you put speed upgrades in the industrial electrolyzer?
Because they don't work in TechReborn machines. Did you even test it?
Would the machine u used for the draconic evo fusion chamber work UK the one before u blew up or base and blame the endermans
why not flip the last machine around, so the power input is on the same side, and the fluid input is on the same side as the output of the water splitter?
Yukkuri Shiteitte ne
Take it easy!
Hello sheep! Sorry sheep.
Hello, is there a way to get your saves from FTB infinite skyblock expert ? I started playing divine journey, and cant find a compact way to automate botania altar for all runes(maybe 1 setup for 1 tier) There was the build Soaryn did, but you never explained. Or could you please help me?
Why not turn your ore to the 3 Ruby's then turn them to dust that way you get 3 instead of 2. And that's a multiple of 9
You use the sag mill I believe
I think you can change the config so each slot of the Arc Furnace only accepts one item. But probably you won't "cheat"
What about putting the chrome dust in a chest with an item conduit on round robin mode would that work?
I don't comment much, but aren't Enderio cables capable of round robin-ing?
Yes.
To different inventories, not different slots in the same inventory. So... technically yes, but not the way you mean.
Why not round robin into different ESDs that input into different slots?
Change the key bind so t doesn't get rid of NEI
I haven't messed with it but would integrated dynamics work?
I got here today.
Where is forever stranded
Ashton Walkden Pahi is out of town, then dire is out of town. So it's a bunch of them not being around to record with each other
Surely with the electrolysis you'd get 2mb of hydrogen for every 1mb of oxygen? Cuz H2O
Shadows_Assassin Yup, that's right, because they're both gasses.
30:58 What happened to the drawers?
Too...many...steps...
You don't like the smaller me inerface?
The microblock ME interface is really good when you want to attach the interface to exactly one block, but it's often convenient to pipe things in to all the sides of the interface, for which the old block-size one is better. That is, after all, why both still exist.

Totally Not A Banana yea. but im not past age 6. and i dont have that much free time
