We used to play 3 friends games in a cowboy/farming multiplayer game called Ranch Simulator. A friend of ours has passed away. We built a horse shed in the game in his name and named the shed after him by putting his favorite horse there. Today is the anniversary of his death, and we blew up enough firework to explode for 1 minute in the game. It was a hair-raising moment. rest in peace cowboy we know from the stars that you are watching us.
I accidentally stumbled upon this channel and I felt compelled to say some things. This music brought back so many memories. I spent over 5,000 hours playing Red Dead Story and Online and it saved my life during the pandemic lockdowns. I met so many amazing people. So many good times and laughs. Tragedy hit my life, so I quit playing for a very long time. I decided to play again recently and it's the same, yet not the same. That stung a little. It's haunting, much like Arthur's last ride. It can never be like the first time again. We may only get one more chance to make things right in life, if we're lucky. I will always love the first video game that ever made me cry. I miss those long gone. I grew up in the wild west, so this hits me deep in the feels. Long live Arthur Morgan and all us Outlaws For Life out there who understand it, feel it, and love this masterpiece. Thank you for this music. ❤
Thank you for taking the time to write and share this. Things are never the same and they never will, and I know how difficult that ls to accept sometimes. But it can also be an opportunity to grow and become a better version of ourselves, and to see the new things life bring us. I think Arthur's story reflects that, how he saw everything that was important to him vanish before his eyes, but that in the end made him become a better person. I wish you the best on your journey friend. ♥️
@Stringscapes I absolutely agree with you. Arthur's story is so relatable and on so many levels. Playing Red Dead again is kinda healing and therapeutic, it's such a beautiful game to get lost in. Thank you for your kind words, I really love these uploads, they're awesome. 🤠
The everlasting beauty around Beaver Hollow and Annes burg is something to behold. What with the Murfree brood subjugated, perhaps this region can finally know peace and prosperity.
This is actually close to Strawberry if I remember correctly, but the are around Annesburg and Beaver Hollow is beautiful too, my last video is actually in that zone.
This became my favourite current instrumental and thank you bro for coming up with something that good, it sounds too good to my ear. There is the part I can’t describe with words which is the melody, I just like it, but also I can explain how there is a nice basic contrast of bitter/nostalgic/comforting vibes ALONE (not the same things as synonyms but just using “/“ to express how they might be perceived different) and then sweet vibes ALONE and THEN BOTH COMBINE which like you can feel sweetness even through bitterness/nostalgia or obviously feel sweetness and comfort (these two don’t contrast in that case but still good) that’s the very rough pattern I noticed, this is very clever if you did it intentionally and either way it sounds wonderful, thank you man good job. Edit: maybe that happens with a lot of others songs too, but it’s good I put it two words on my own for the first time with this one, something feels good about putting music to words sometimes it’s like it’s blurry and you clear out the meaning, for others it might strip away the mystery but I personally like doing it a tad bit at least not fully and leave some without explaining because that also feels good in a pure emotional way.
Thank you for your words. Music is something so magical and incredible that words can't almost never explain what it makes us feel. But it can be also interesting and fun to try to talk about it nonetheless.
Man I love all of these beautiful videos the guitar is so relaxing and so is red dead I mean without all the shooting butt still the best game I've played.great videos btw🙂
So glad you're back. Bro you're doing amazing, of course take all the time you need to make these videos, the result it''s really good. Have a nice day friend
Thank you, glad you liked it! If this video gets more popular I will write the tabs for it. The ones that have tabs are the moment are Lost Desert and Quiet River.
Many bad memories , few good ones. This music speaks to me on many levels calms me on many more. While its calming theres a darkness about it that makes me reflect on shit ive gone through in the past thats still affecting the present. Reminds me that there was nothing i could do but also that im stronger for it. Wont let shit that was done to me happen agaim , but the cost is trust. Great music friend. Keep it up.
Love this track, I have it on loop while working. Keep up the great work! Although I picked up my guitar to try to figure out the chord progression and some of the melodies and the tuning seems a bit weird. Tuning to C# the notes I play are too flat, but tuning to D everything is too sharp. Did you intentionally tune between C# and D?
@@gradensikes7958 thank you! About the tuning: I tune my guitar to C# and D, and then I slow the recording a bit, because I like how it sound downtuned and slower (Something that was usual with old records). So effectively the tuning should be between C# and D.
@@gradensikes7958 You can get a chrome extension called Transpose that allow you to change the pitch of youtube videos in real time, that way you can keep your tuning and play with my music. Best of luck!
Your acoustic tones are really excellent. If you don't mind my asking as a guitarist, do you run direct or mic? I don't hear any piezo quack or other unpleasant artifacts. Really great sound. I normally play distorted metal so my experience recording acoustics is limited. I have a little Ibanez SX-90 parlor acoustic with magnetic neck pickup that I like to use with phosphor bronze strings (80/20 is a bit bright). I ran direct and tried to blend it with room sound so it would sound less like a clean electric. I experimented with mics and removable sound hole pickups for a while to create more space. But since I'm in an untreated space it is less than ideal. I'm thinking going direct with a room ambience plugin in post would work better than a badly mic'ed acoustic in an untreated room. I would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you for your work.
Thank you! I run direct, straight to the interface. I use a Takamine P1DC. I found the trick to make the piezo sound better was to play without a pick, I just use my thumb (specially for the rhythm guitar, with the lead is not as important) and I play very softly, almost caressing the string. Also the reverb and EQ help. Although for the last 2 songs I uploaded, I started to use an acoustic impulse response, and it makes the direct signal sound so much better! I can even play with a pick now and it sounds great.
@@Stringscapes Wow, thank you. I didn't know there were acoustic impulse responses. Of course, there are always samples in things like Kontakt, but it is a pain to get it to sound natural with the velocities and not have it sync to a grid. I think I've mentioned this on your videos before, but if you're familiar with the late 90s band Days of the New, they had a really great acoustic sound on their recordings. I know some of it is direct, but I'm pretty sure mics were used too so it wouldn't sound flat and lifeless. Do you use a classical guitar too? Some of your work sounds like nylon strings. Again, thanks so much. I often use your work to help me fall asleep at night.
@@AAAA-lt9hq Yes there is actualy a free site with hundreds of impulses, that's where I got mine. The site is: acousticir.free.fr/ and there is also some free plugins that let you use impulse responses. The difference in sound is abysmal, you almost cannot tell the difference with a mic. And yeah, samples just doesn't cut it, it is very difficult to realistically emulate string instruments, specially guitar. I don't use any classical guitar on this channel, although I love the classical guitar and I own one.
@@Stringscapes Thank you so much! At times I thought you could have been fingerpicking a nylon string classic guitar and using a picked acoustic for the melody sections, but when you mentioned going direct I should have realized you were using an acoustic. Since magnetic pickups don't work with nylon strings, classical guitars must be mic'ed or use piezo or optical pickups. Again, thank you. Very cool to have acoustic guitar impulse responses. Mostly IRs are associated with guitar and bass speaker cabinets.
Ohhh, this video represents what my heart and soul tell me everyday.....be good,be kind and always keep your head up no matter what, for you and everyone you love. Too bad that the ads every 2 minutes absolutely ruins the experience but I still love this with passion., amazing work.🤍✌️

Hang on there friend and don't lose hope. There is always something beautiful in our lives for us to be grateful, we have to be always looking for it.

My biggest advice is to be sincere and upfront always. If somebody wants to be with you then they will make it known to you. Never hide your feelings
