The two magics can't come into direct contact because both will be sent to the void.
Wait you can use light magic under water, it's just that it will fade the farther it goes. Basically you have reduced range with light under water...it's reduced by a lot tho

I was fighting king calvus yesterdya with some friends and a guy with poison and plasma with a attack size build just gassrs the whole room and then turns it into a rave it was epic
as someone who uses shadow magic, when i fight calvus theres this weird black electrifying effect when we clash but most of the time the light magic pierces through and still hits
From the hearsays and conjectures I've heard, Shadow's status effect, drained, does more than what it says in paper. Apparently, drained entities have slightly reduced AoE, damage and can miss.
I didn't see this described in the video, so I'll point it out, from what I remember, what determines clash is the power behind the spell, so obviously at base, some magics win over others, but if your power stat is higher enough than the opponent, you can still win that clash, this is for the lightning clash bit
@@shironhel7184 curses may be added, mutations are gone but they are essentially just lost and ancient magics now, for example darkness, storm, blizzard, they all are basically mutations but they are (supposedly, just lost magic ideas vetex came up with) lost magics
i hate the poison mechanics that only work with poison. I just wasted 15 hrs+ thinking that ash works with plasma or fire. Im never going back to arcane its not even fun grinding that long
@@trueencro water is horrible for wind wdym?? it literally nerfs wind and removes waters status effect. they arent made for eachother. The best combination for wind is ice, 20% more damage when target is freezing + frozen effect. Ash is also a close second though its hard to get petrified status effect on an actual player or boss. - This is ocming from a wind-ice mage
on an urelated note will there be more basic magics added. by basic magic i mean magic u can choose in the begining as i would love something like mist magic
shadow has 0 good ones im pretty sure the only interactions are 5% less damage on blinded and light and shadow have a cool looking explosion when they clash

@@inFayt_Lies I tested it with a crystal mage, the pulsar, at the very least, didnt have any change, didnt gave time to test the other moves tho

You can freeze the water top and then push it and get on, basically becoming a moving ice raft.

@@trueencro no you wont, most you can get as a mage is 3 magics and lost and ancient magic, conjures and warlock can only choose one fuse
