crazy to think how the epicenter used to have huge amount of animals, plants and people living on the island before Durza missed

Although the dark sea is a near infinite dungeon the existence of the epicenter and other islands described in the Trello honestly tells me that the dark sea will most definitely play a major part in the story far in the future

They should one day place the sailors lodge npc there. He talks about the epicenter and I think it would be fun. (Maybe also add him in a future sea with a quest to find it and when you do he becomes a quartermaster or something for you) also would be lovely if Vetex placed a legendary Atlantean in the center as a raid boss.
Would be fun and saddening if fhe Sailor Lodge Npc just went and turned into the darn Atlantean tho

You can find crystal island even in insanity 2 the amount you can get for that huge island crystals are 100 exotic gems

It really does seem like the epicenter is just a giant crater of magic pollution you can see the giant cliffs and the whole thing seems bigger than Ravenna it’s really cool to see I wonder if we will have to go there in the story mode it could even be the final boss

It prob wont be considering the dark sea itself is mainly an endgame thing. though the epicenter is mentioned in the myriad and an npc in sailors lodge way before dark sea release

@@Gman_0vetex plans to add bosses but I think not end game but maybe just Atlantean leaders or something like that as a sub end game boss that’s not completely correlated with the story
@@arnoics6323I thought he escaped I mean it would be a nice twist since durza is the type of guy to survive a world ending blast at close range plus the peacekeeper is traveling the world he would only be doing this for 2 reasons either finding all the curses to stop them from going into the wrong hands or hunting down durza because he may have survived

Has anyone tried to use a T5 clearsight supernova potion near the epicenter? Maybe that would clear up some of the fog and make it easier to see.
I use them on my expeditions its not the best but is really usefull

Sea cursed arent gonna be available to the player (confirmed)
Most prob ancient magics will be located there since how much durza stole and how much humanity forgot about lost and ancient magics from that point
I'll bet against sea curses, as they seem like something that the player wouldn't gain access to, more like set dressing than anything plausible for a player to use.. it'd be like giving a person access to calvus' skills, bit busted, no? And if vetex didn't make it on that level, it'd feel underwhelming.. completely agree on the lost magics part tho
i bet 100000 galleons that it'll never have anything like that, sea curses will not be player obtainable and having a lost or ancient magic scroll there makes no sense

That magma at the bottom of the lake isn't solid terrain (I believe) there's a biome with similarities to it if u dive into it u take huge DMG (die in 2 ticks type of DMG, I think it was 750)

Maybe Crater Barion is the entrance to the underworld, with the chains being what connects the underworld, normal world, and the heavens (or Olympus I guess).

The pond is what you call a Volcanic Pond (nothing cool about it just water not turning into hard obsidian) something made but its something through lore about lost spirits and shit hopefully seeing something like that in the near future when the nimbus sea update comes and we get some clues about the epicenter cause I got a feeling the final boss will be there do some retarded shit
I don't think the final boss will be at the epicenter solely because that would SUCK for gameplay purposes.
I do, however, think there's eventually going to be some kind of super special loot to be found in the epicenter.
Like super unique potion reagents, a weapon either Theos or Durza dropped after the blast that's been sitting there, a suit of the MOST magic polluted armor imaginable, those sorts of things.

I would think probably the final boss would use the characters or sorts for a gateway or something, since there was pillars with skeletons in them being sacrificals or sorts, just a thought though
