This video clip will explain everything you need to know about Tuberculosis including: -Diagnostic Tests -Management -Prophylaxis - -Special Situations
I'm currently enrolled in an online nursing program without class room lectures. It's extremely boring to only read text books. Your videos has given me so much concise, COLORFUL and straight forward info. I was bored to tears until I found your videos. Thank you so very much!!!
I sent a video of my conure who after hearing my husbands cough started mimicking him. My husband somehow had active tuberculosis, advanced stage. We had no clue where it came from as we live out in the country and don't really go anywhere. Myself, and my two sons tested positive for the latent tb. I was wondering if you could post this video to help me get the video out and maybe bring a little humor to an otherwise dreadful situation. Thank you!
Great video.. I have had weird symptoms since about a month and am a bit worried: cough, coughting up blood-teinted phlegm, general weakness and unwell feeling, fatigue, night sweats... most of wich are tuberculosis symptoms. I went to the ER and all they gave me is a asthma pump to use twice daily. I have an apointement for an X-Ray next saturday if things dont improve. My question is, if I ever have that, how fast does the TB virus progress and are treatement effective nowadays? Thank you
@iampeeay01 often none except general non-wellbeeing and a feeling of sickness. adults mostly suffer from simple persistent bought, children: lymphadenopathy
if a skin test is positive for TB does the result need to be reported? Or does an Xray nee to be completed and then the result will be reported if positive??? Also what if the skin test result is super super bumpy and red?

3 negative smears is suppose you mean on 3 consecutive days? weeks? same day?
How often should a person with latent TB be tested for active TB?
You really should re-record the vocal part.
