    I have a yeast strain I hadn’t isolated, but I’ve used it 4-5 times. It was on a 60 + year old plum tree and it tastes like the plums from that tree.

    Can you use lactic acid instead of vodka?

    I use an ultrasonic parts cleanerto reduce particle size of my malted grain mash. iT TRIPLED THE FERMENTATION RATE!!!
    bY REDUCING PARTICLE SIZE IT MADE THE GRAIN MASH MORE BIOAVAILABLE. The bubbler could not handle it and the fermentation bucket kept blowing its lid off. I had to duct tape the lid and thought the fermentation bucket would split as much as it swelled. It took thee days for the bubbler to start to slow down. here is video of my mash bucket and bubbler. I cannot get people to understand how big of an advance this really is. EVEN A SUGAR WASH i RAN AFTERWARDS(PUT IT THROUGH THE ULTRASOUND BUT NO INCREASE IN FERMENTATION) ONLY FERMENTED A THIRD OF THE SPEED tHIS WILL GIVE YOR YEAST A GREATER CHANCE OF THRIVING . i KNO i TRIED A BATCH WITH OLD FRIDGE YEAST AND ONLY AFTER IT WENT THROUGH ULTRASOUND DID THAT GRAIN GET THE YEAST EVEN LIVE
