The technology in these toys is absolutely amazing.
"Red means red, green means something else" ... i just love it! In this one you are really crazy on fire.. "thats irresponsible, don't do that, Brian" made me spill my coffe! No matter what you took... it worked great! Please let me know what it is... even if it were just boiled eggs. This heli is a sweet one!

Looks great but quality not good.. Out of the box I had issues like charger bot working. After second flight, I could not lift off! Just got back from the field again - All telemetry to transmitter seemed good/correct. Issue persists (fast flashing yellow light) - "self test of aircraft" (According to the manual). Has to be a bad sub-component... Cannot lift off! Not happy! A shame; I had high hopes for this (Got the camera, FPV googles and everything - Spend about $1000.00 and planned on buying the Apache also). And lets be clear - I am a Quality EE for a fortune 500 company! Old past replacements parts/fix orders still not received (Considering this was NEW out of the box!). Why should I have to trouble shoot and pay for a new motor and controller PCB???).
Hell, I’m still waiting for a replacement charger that works (Again - out of the box and did not work!). Been waiting for 2 months now.
And by the way; I have been building scratch build RC helicopters, drones, boats and planes for years, so I know what I’m taking about!
Brian that Heli is awesome, however, that price is not what I expected. A big nope for me. As usual awesome video
It just dawned on me that all branches of the US MIlitary still operate tail draggers.. Helicopters such as the H60 series and the Apache are all tail draggers. Fun fact.. Great video. My work has taken me away from the hobby but my heart is still there along with the lust I just have no time anymore.

That's pretty wild man! I've seen a bunch of these where they don't either do their tricks, or return to home, or any of that stuff. Seeing that one do it all, and no less, from an inverted situation was pretty cool!
The thing that bums me out the most is the model specific batteries.

Hi Brian. What's not to love about this heli. Finally, a heli that makes sense and justifies the price tag. I hope there will be a coupon code for this baby. By the way, I do believe this same controller will work with your F06 model, giving you better control and a throttle cutoff switch for the F06.

Hi Brian the link you sent me on your latest plane video (horizon hobby wheel set) it is close to the thing I’m looking for but it is missing the part that the grey adapter slides into and that’s the part I need just wondering if you could help with it
Is gps the same as gyro with a flight controller like they use on drones?
No, both systems are totally different. GPS is global positioning system, like in your car, or on your phone...used for hyper accurate location data to make flight decisions. The Flight Controller uses a STABILIZER and some Auto-Leveling to help get the helicopter to stay still, with regard to environmental impact, like wind and thermals, as well as pointing a specific direction.
@@BrianPhillipsRC nice to know at least this is a good thing. i would like to get my part 107 license and use that heli and just do a custom outter shell heli. start my own side business i not sure why RC arent really jumping into the UAV world. i know a lot of them are just hobbyist and love flying but still it expensive hobby why not make money doing it

I really like the scale looks but not the gps or the proprietary battery and transmitter. Blade should have a range of detailed scale models for spectrum stuff.

Brian what's your honest opinion of the price? I've built sub $200 drones that have nav, auto leveling, and better performance. When I saw the price I felt disgusted. Feels like a complete price gouge targeting people who are new to the hobby.

I would take this over the latest foam body "hobby grade" wonder. You are a little severe maybe? What is so different about this heli, dual brushless motors, highly detailed. I don't really consider this as toy grade. Tell me something comparable that you would consider as not "toy grade".
